[Q] Reboot problems after OTA update

Hi,
I have a GSM HTC One V with stock rom and not rooted.. For some days I was getting the notification that there is a new update available.
But now after the update my phone is rebooting everytime I enable the WLAN.
I already have read some threads about some problems with the new radio but is this the same problem with the stock rom?
What can I do without having problems with the warranty?
Thanks.

[Q] Difficulties Upgrading to Lollipop

Hi, first of all I want to say that I am relatively new to android and therefore only have a basic understanding of everything. My desire EYE is currently on 4.4.4 rooted and have been having problems upgrading it to 5.0, I know I have to unroot and return to stock in order to be able to flash the stock recovery and be able to then flash lollipop on there. Problem is whenever I flash one of the stock 4.4.4's found on here superuser installer is still there (even when I tell to TWRP to not install it) and when I got to the bootloader is still says that the software is Modified so am still unable to flash the stock recovery and get lollipop.
Can anybody help shed some light on this problem and possibly help me fix it?
Hi there,
I have found I was able to update using the procedure written in this topic. Could you see if that helps you?

Thanks for your reply but have already tried this and when I tried booting into the recovery menu it gave me the red triangle because I have modified system partition, and all my efforts so far to change it to official have so far been unsuccessful
In fact tried it again and it worked this time, however when I try and download the update on my phone a message pop's up saying my phone can't be updated because the software is modified and not official HTC firmware

htc one M8- after 6.0 update software corrupted- repeated process

Hai,
i am from india. i updated the phone to 6.0 from 5.02 thro OTA. After this, the phone went to fast boot mode, so the phone not working. i reset the phone many times, it remains same state.
i unlocked the phone with the same condition thro adb and also installed TWRP 3.0.0--to run the phone atleast in custom Rom or TWRP Backup.
i tried to instal STOCK europe rom but it shows "Failed to mount '/carrier'(invalid argument)......done.
please support asap

You can't simply install any stock ROM ... it must be tally with your device version. If it is an India version, you need India stock ROM or stock backup

Upgrade from KitKat to MM?

Hello,
Ever since I bought my G3, I was unable to update it due to cryptic "Phone not registered yet" error message. But now I want to update it to MM. Is it safe to directly update to MM from KitKat (V10i-GLOBAL-COM) using the KDZ method? Or do I first have to update to Lollipop first?
Its safe, it will install new modem/bootloader etc to boot the new ROM, just remember to use the CSE (Factory reset) flash method from LG's software

LG G Pad X 10.1 v930 update issue

After bricking my first tablet, I learned that the boot loader is locked and that the factory Rom is not available for this device (and a lot of AT&T devices). It was replaced luckily but now I face a different set of issues. The update to Marshmallow is available but I cannot update it no matter what I do. Obviously I am worried about tinkering too much because of the possibility of bricking it again. Yes it is rooted, and that's why it refuses to update.
Would it be wise to try to mask the root with an xposed module, since I can't seem to fully remove the root itself?
good luck getting any answers on this device. If been asking about downgrading from 6.0 so I can get root. No helpful information for the ATT variant.
I can't find any updated when I try for this device. How did you go about getting a replacement ?
I would be fine with a rom image to install and a root. But I want my 6.0 that I am deserving
You can't retain root if you're going from Android 5x to android 6x because of the changes to ART. Maybe one day some crafty dev will figure out how to root an AT&T 6x device with a locked bootloader but unfortunately that day isn't today.
If you are looking to root and customize your device then stay off of att.

I have an LG Gpad X 10.1 v930 (AT&T) which I am unable to update to Marshmallow via OTA Update. I haven't rooted my device, yet I am not able to receive the update via OTA. Is there any other way I can update to Marshmallow? I tried to use LG Bridge but it keep giving me message "Cannot check software version".
I just recently got the v930 from AT&T, and I've tried Kingroot, but it did not work. It came with MM already installed, and I can't find very much information on this tablet. So If you want root, then it's probably best not to upgrade.

Did you ever find a solution? I just got a used one that is still on 5.1.1 and doesn't see any available updates.

My tablet originally had an ATT sim card so I borrowed an ATT sim card, checked again for update through settings. Connected to the ATT server and got the update.

Put in an ATT sim card so you can connect to their server for the update.
