First you got to unlock your bootloader. And then you'll need to root your phone. After that, install app like link2sd.
Read the unlock of your bootloader and root carefully.

how to move all app from internal memory to SD?

I tired try amythings but not work, my HTC desire with android 2.2 and HBOOT 0.92, my internal memory full, how can move it to SD crad or make internal memory more size?
and if I have to root my phone I dont like to do downgrade.
please I need help, and if u can step by step because Im new here, some word I didnt understand about phones. thanks.
You can't until you root the phone so you've got to wait for unrEVOked 3.2.x to be released. Once rooted you can run a custom ROM with the old A2SD which moves everything to the SD card
Settings applications manage applications click on app then move to SD
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
Very few allow it, so the only way of moving everything is to root to a custom ROM allowing A2SD for ALL apps
thanks, so I have to wait until root for 0.92 come out .. do u know when will come out, I hope its easy ..
unrEVOked 3.2.x is in testing and will be out soon. Then it's just a case of run it and plug your phone in...simples!!
I did the this:
h**p://androinica.com/2010/08/03/how-to-install-apps-to-the-sd-card-by-default-on-android-2-2-froyo
(replace ** with tt ; sorry, I couldn't post links)
After that, all new applications installed by default to the SD card. Moreover, I could move most apps already installed to SD card (settings - applications - manage applications - click app - move to SD card).
My Desire is running Android 2.2 and is not rooted or customized (rom)
yes I did that way .. but its not move all app, just 50% or 30% from one app, but its better then before .. thanks

Actually, it does move all the app.
What it doesn't do is move dalvik-cache (you need legacy A2SD+ for this) or anything the app puts into /data/data (which no form of A2SD does).

First of all, sorry for my English. You ought to root the phone, and then install an application like mounts2SD, but I recommend that if you root, install a custom ROM, as listed below http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=809328

First, backup your phone data to PC
Second, read this thread, follow these steps to root your device if you didn't do so.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=696189
Then install a custom ROM with sd-ext partition support (for example: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1453287)
That's it!

Android 4.2, Move apps to SD card

Hi All,
I have a HTC desire w/ Android 4.2. One of the BIG problems with this phone is that the ROM only has 512MB and most of the space is token by the OS and other services.
Also many Apps are installed on the ROM and user cannot move them to the SD card.
Recently I was able to move most of my apps from the phone into the SD card (You just need to download the SDK and execute 2 simple steps having the Phone connected to the PC), Let me know if you need deeper details to do so.
Anyway, this is better but not the best solution since other Apps (native Apps) cannot be moved, and looks like that the other Apps that now I can move to the SD card are not completely moved to the DS card ( some data is kept on the ROM)
Does anyone know how to move the Apps totally into the SD card without rooting the phone?
rooting looks like is very hard, I couldn't find the programs that people use to mention to perform the root!
Thanks!
s-off and rooting is the only guaranteed way to get around memory limits.
it's not that hard, just need to slow down and read a lot. there are guides for everything.
i recommend to start here
And after you s-off with the help of the guide eddiehk mentioned above, follow this guide :

There's no point moving apps to SD because it will fill up anyway.

Best way to gain more space will be use some ROM without any script.
Create ext partition on SD card and then use CronMod INIT2EXT script.
This way you can have even 1GB of internal storage. Nice and clean.
All you have to remember to obtain SD card with good class, best will be 10.

[Q] Help for moving apps to sd card...

I hv a xperia m (C1904) and hv updated to stock firmware 4.3 (15.4.A.1.9). I hv also rooted it via towelroot and hv used root checker pro to find that "your device has proper root access". Now when i use this method to transfer files to sd card via link2sd by this method
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2142844
it does not work. As sooon i create the mount script (on ext2 partiton) my phone automatically boots and gets stuck on bootloop. When i remove my sd card it boots normal. No clue.
So i tried Foldermount (again bootloop), GL to sd (again bootloop), apps2sd, still no succees..
P.S; i am using SanDisk 16 Gb class 10 mmc.
P.s; if the solution is to flash a custom ftf, then i hv another question, i can't download ftf files, when i click "download anyway" on google drive (any ftf file) the google chrome takes over the download and it always goes above 50% and then fails (sometime at 60% sometime at 50% like this..)
It always fails downloading,,,,,,..
plz help me...
P.s; I hv a locked bootloader..

Hello there. I've addressed this issue on my help thread here . Link2SD doesn't work in your case. There is one other way.

Swap Memory...
Link2SD Problam
App2SD is not supported by your device. Because your device has a primary external storage which is emulated from the internal storage. You can link the app in order to move its files to your SD card.
device sony m dual android 4.3
What can I do?
Thanks
It is because u haven't got the full root. What u have done with towel root is just the half root. Look up for the full rooting method using towel root thread
Sent from my C1904 using XDA Free mobile app
As mentioned, find a root fix and apply it.
After that, swap your memory. Either by script or init.d.

Reboot Fix is no longer required on 4.3.
At least the stock update fixed my reboot issues.
-----
i completely unroot my phone and then full-rooted it by towel root, busybox and remountreboot fix....ok that's fine...but now i create a partition in my mmc and install link2sd and create mount script...the phone reboots with success...but only linking is possible ...the move 2 sd option is now highlighted but it says "Apps2sd is not supported by ur device..."" fine i'm using gl to sd....now...thanks for the help...

Brother, guide please.
First tell which version of android are you using
If you are on kitkat then you will receive update notification and if you are on lollipop version then you need to install kitkat version again and you will receive update notification just download it and install
If you need links for download kitkat version then reply
I will provide the links
Another way is to root the device, install lucky patcher n integrate the update to system. The updates consumes 700 - 800 mb. Works like a charm

about the memory..?
No ,what he says won't work
After upgrading to lollipop, Google play store will update your system apps like Google search ,maps, hangouts and YouTube. It will be back to square one
Upgrading system apps is the main cause of storage problems since android stores the current version as well as the original version of the app
If you just want more internal storage , uninstall updates and replace the system apps to factory version.
If installing the ota update would have solved this issue, no one would be facing it since majority of us have done that...
Is less storage than KitKat.. 2.23 is not in KitKat...

Device storage doesn't add up to 2.23
?????
How to fix it
Problem Fixed to an extent with 18 mb update
I was having the same problem though contained it to an extent by removing all bloatware after rooting.
Still only 250-300 mb was left in my internal storage even though i moved all apps except system apps to SD card.
Today i updated my phone by 18mb update and i noticed that i have 800 MB storage in internal memory left. I guess one of the things this update does is remove some system file clutter produced during lollipop update. Anyways, as i was saying, anyone with insufficient storage problem should try to update their firmware then check again, it should solve the issue.
unable to move apps to sd card
guys i am using micromax android one on 5.1.1. I am facing problem while moving apps to sd card. I m facing this problem since two days. please help me guys. i am root user. To solve this problem i again unrooted my phone but it is not working.
Solution to the storage problem on M
The first time you boot up your marshmallow device, you will receive a notification asking if you want to use your SD card as Internal or Storage. If you use storage its like any other external storage. But if you choose Internal, it will format your SD card to ext4 just like you would if you were to use Link2SD. Now most of the apps will be stored on this SD card. However some won't and that's when you'll start running out of space. But that's not the case. Hidden inside is the option to move these apps to the SD card as well (along with the entire data and obb files). If you already selected portable storage and want to now use it as internal, then follow the below steps:
1) Insert a new sd card or format the existing card that you are using(Class-10 card is recommended) once you are upgraded to M using the OTA links available. Remember to backup everything on the SD card because all data will be lost.
2) A new notification/pop-up will ask if you want use to it as portable storage or as internal storage, Choose Internal, it will alert you that all data will be lost, confirm the same and wait for the format to complete.
3) Now any newly installed app/existing play store installation can be moved to the internal storage using the below steps
a) Go to Storage & USB
b) Go to Internal Storage
c) Go to Apps
d) Select the app
e) Select the option 'Change' and select your SD Card and then select Move from the 'Move Authenticator' and it's done!
4) Remember this works for only newly installed apps(user-apps), system apps like Gmail/Calendar/Keep etc will still be installed on the Phone Storage. Using this method you will still have around 700mb plus on the phone memory after installing any play store app.
I have tested this method with 30+ apps installed and i still have 700mb+ plus to go.
There is no need to root or go back to kitkat/lollipop etc. Just upgrade to M using manual OTA and follow the steps or you can wait for the automatic OTA upgrade and then follow the above steps.
Yeah, This is right but I tried installing heavy apps consuming lot of data in phone. After moving it to sd card there is some data stored in phone also. So after that there will be no space in phone memory and new apps won't be install at all....
So, It's not a perfect solution for this issue.
Thanks for the guide
