Does it let optical joystick work as a real smooth pointer (like in case of omnia)?
Former appz like this only assinged joystick as a 4-way button, so it was just like using keys to move the pointer.
Csao! müködik rendessen de a reg kód a régi verzióhoz való, amit találtam
What about buying the new version?

the trial-version does NOT work like a touchpad, but like a 4-way-button moving the cursor.

Sajnos ez csak négy irányát használja. Nem rossz, de azért nem az igazi.

yes answers please...
yes...?
no! I don't think so because you have a touch screen ... its there for a reason, so you can use you finger as "a cursor pointer"
Its not impossible for a cursor hack to be coded but I don't think anyone will make one just because its as useless as it seams.
Just an example of where you could need a cursor --> adverputt.com (awesome flashgame) Furthermore you cant "hover" with your finger, just scroll and select things. Some webpages just require to move a mousepointer over an item to highlight things/mark items and so on.
windows had that so why not android its supposed to be better
Or if you want to use megavideo with froyo....it would add more usability. Im getting mad to raise volume Or click on certain timecode of video.
I agree that there are occasions where where using the track pad as a cursor would be better as touch isn't always as accurate as it needs to be.

so, no one interested? i mean in user approach. if so, please post to let people know...it has been readed by 354 till now...
people were able to enable mouse cursor pointer with a bluetooth mouse on the N1 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=711268
maybe that could be possible with a touchpad ? any idea ?
(I am interested because I may buy a Desire Z [tmobile g2] soon and I think keyboard + touchpad with mouse cursor pointer might be interesting)
Since a couple days i have a galaxy alarmsystem for my house. When there is a alarm it will send a textmessage to our mobile phone. Me and my husband both have the HTC one x and we don't receive the message.
I've put my sim in a samsung phone and then i did receive the textmessage. We talked to the HTC helpdesk and they didn't understood the problem and said that the problem was the alarmsystem
Other textmessages we do receive so is there someone who has the same problem or does someone has a solution?
I realy like this phone and want to enjoy it for a long time...
Did you try an hard reset?
I just gave my phone a hard reset but i still don't get the textmessages
It's really strange...
And i don't know why don't work..
R: [Q] textmessage on htc one x
Try to change text of message from alarm, probably it contains some special character... you need to try all cases it this strange situations I hope you have free sms from sim in alarm system

I have changed the format from the textmessage it still doesn't work. But when i have a unread textmessage in my phone it makes the sound of a textmessage and te message from the alarmsystem doesn't come on my phone but he will show the unread message which was still in my phone.
The problem is solved . The problem was the textmassagesoftware on my phone. I downloaded the app pansi sms and the problem is solved. HTC didn't had a answer...it wasn't there problem because other textmessages do came in. So thx to HTC for the good service
Thx for thinking with me xda

Hi,
Is there any way to manually control the GT-P5210 its IR port?
And with "adress" I mean like 0x378 on a PC for LPT port...
There are a lot of IR apps, like IR Universal Remote, but I can't find their source codes anywhere...
I would like to have an app which can control the inbuild IR blaster directly, without any PCBs, with a friendly interface like a tone generator.
Or is there a simple path to the directory of that module, so I can trigger it by such app or something?

Is it possible to dump the EEPROM of a NFC tag, without a key (crypted)? Just to get like a 'eeprom.bin' or something like that.
I'm newbie about this things
I think is not possible because EEPROM need "lock code" for decrypt data
