Bricked HTC ONE X . HELP PLZZ - HTC One X

hi . I recently tried to change my htc one X 's ROM . once the rom was installed, i did a wipe ( and a dalvik cache wipe) . after that i reboot the phone . Unfortunately it was stuck on the HTC logo . i have no idea what i did wrong but appearantly i didnt choose the good rom for my phone . I tried to unbrick it after some researches on the net using ADB commands .... but actually only fastboot commands are working ...and when i try to sideload or flash another rom , i get some weird errors like " error remote not allowed ".....therefore , any help from you would be appreciated ... !!!!!
look at the image attached for more info about my bootloader .
thx in advance

Try flashing the boot.IMG first then flash the rom

Therefore always if you try to flash another rom PLS read all the threads about how to flash ...and which rom? pls post a link or the full name ...you forgot the boot.img from the rom you choosed and therefore the phone can't boot...
you haven't installed the boot.img
Extract it from the ROM zip and put it in your fastboot folder (u'll need to download the fastboot files if you haven't already), then...
Assuming your fastboot directory is "C:/fastboot" do the following:
Open a command prompt.
type:
cd..
cd..
cd fastboot
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Now the phone should boot properly.

i own an htc one x (international version ) (Tegra 3 ) ..and after reading some interesting articles about installing custom roms on the one x , i rooted it and put some rom , it was working perfectly , but i was not satisfied with the rom , so i downloaded a new rom and put it on the phone and installed the rom (some nexus rom) ... i booted the phone and it was stuck on the nexus logo and nothing else would happen , so i read some articles on the internet , one of them told me to reset the phone to factory setting , after doing that i've lost CWM Recovery , now all i can do is, get to Hboot or something like that , aND all i can see here is fastboot and recovery , I've tried everything , but it just wont work , i'm a noob , please help me fix my phone up ! , i gave it to the htc repair centre they told me that they had to change the motherboard and that would cost as much as half the price of the phone , so i told dont want .... now is there anyway i can fix it by myself or fix it somewhere else for cheaper ??? please suggest a way i can do it on my own
Dude are you serious !!!! A nexus rom....why do they call our phone a htc one x and not a nexus !!!!
Do you know fastboot commands to flash recoverys and boot.img files ?
Flash this recovery
http://db.tt/Krlm4dPs
And then go into the recovery and mount it as an usb mass storage, copy the rom.zip over to the sdcard. Then wipe everything. Also copy the boot.img file from the rom.zip to your fastboot folder and flash that too....
Then enter the recovery and install the rom.zip.
What is the nymber of your hboot andnwhich rom do you want to flash ? And only HTC ONE X ROMS !!!!!!

Where are you going....here or th other thread, make up your mind or else i will quit. Dont go in 2 threads the same time......i say lets do it here
You need to download the htc drivers and install them
http://db.tt/gXVxa3Dp
Then you put these files in a folder on the pc
http://db.tt/ldx3qOOU
Then you put the phone in the bootloader and check if you see fastboot usb in red text !
Then you open a command prompt inside the folder with the fastboot files i gave you, you type there
Fastboot getvar version-main
It shoukd give out a number like 2.17.401.11 or somethimg else....but thats how it looks
Post it here please. And leave the other thread

What you can do is go here and download your matching nandroid backup

Hi, what's your recovery version, Try DL a fresh rom again. Extract the boot img from the viper zip and place it in your fastboot folder copy the viper zip over to your SD card on your hox. Reboot Into bootloader in terminal/cmd prompt navigate to platform-tools folder and terminal type fastboot erase cache then fastboot flash boot boot.img , then select htboot on your hox then recovery should show up hit recovery. In recovery do a factory reset (not SD card) then go to install viperX zip when aroma pops up follow on screen prompt with the kernel ? Select viper supplied then hopefully reboot and enjoy some venom.

Already did all the Above , like 5 times
i have hboot 1.39 .. does that have to do with anything ?
i also tried a custom kernel ( alexV ) with the corresponding modules
nothing works !
this is really frustrating i cant stand my Onex without ViperX , version 3.8 works >. just the 4.0 version has this problem :/

[Q] Stuck in Cyanogenmod 11 bootscreen

Hello,
I tried to install the cyanogenmod 11 to my phone today,it's the first custom rom that i ever install on an Android phone. I followed all the steps provided by the cyanogenmod team but the phone it's stuck at the boot image and won't pass it. The steps i made are these:
1.Downloaded the latest stable build of cyanogenmod
http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=endeavoru&type=snapshot
I used the latest one M8.
2.Downloaded the GAPPS from here
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Google_Apps
I downloaded the CM11 file, the fist file that is in the list.
3.Downloaded the clockwork recovery from here:
http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager
4.Put the downloaded cyanogenmod and GAPPS in a folder named Cyanogen in my storage
5. Installed the custom recovery of the clockwerk recovery
6. Wipe factory data/devlik cache
7. Installed the cyanogenmod zip and the gapps zip
8. Reboot, and not let the phone enter the cyanogenmod screen, pressed the volume down and power button to take it to fastboot
9. Installed the boot.img that is in the cyanogenmod zipfile
10. Reboot
After all of this the phone still doesn't boot up,it's just stuck at the cyanogenmod logoscreen, the wheel is spinning, sometimes freezes but always spinning, what do i have to do to make my phone work?
Please help,i need to use my phone in a few hours because i have to go to work.
Thank you verry much and excuse the long post.

Ooow,ok,i undestand,i flash the boot, after that the cwmrecovery and after that i do all the cyanogenmod stuff. One more question if it's not to much. If i do all of this stuff and still don't have a luck with cyanogenmod..or i just get tired of it, i had made a backup for the stock rom. If i use the cyanogenmod for a while and i want the Stock Rom back, can i just revert to the backup i made in clockwork mod earlier?

in fastboot flash boot.img then go into recovery and flash rom
you already flashed recovery.img and you already flashed boot.img and gapps and did a full wipe so no need to do that again
yes but you need to downgrade your recovery to cwm 5.X

Sir,
Firstly i installed htc sync manager and updated all my drivers .
Then i made a backup of all my pictures..videos..chats.. etc.
Once i was sure that nothing is there in the phone that is imp. And has not been backed up , i coppied the android 4.4.4 rom and gapps to my phone
I had hasoon 2000s toolkit for one x .
So i first used vol down button + power button to enter into fastboot mode and connected it to pc so that it says fastboot usb .
Then from there i think i didnt flash boot.img (and probabily thats the root caise of the problems im having .
Then i wiped my dalvic cache..partition cache and wipe data/factory reset
After that i clicked on install from zip and installed the cm11 endevouru xxxx xxx.zip file . Once it was complete i rebooted my phone to bootloader . Then again to recovery and then back to install zip . Now i installed gapps .
Once done i rebooted my phone . And now in the phone the cyanogenmod logo appears with an arrow going round and round encircling that logo.. and arrow sometimes stops for some moment but nothing happens .. the phone doesnot boot ahead .. wat to do im helpless sir please help me.. im in big trouble. Thank you.

I've quickly gone through this thread and am missing 1 important piece of info :
What is your hboot number and on what rom/software number were you before all this ?
If you hboot is lower than 1.3x than you can't install this rom at all.
And there is no need to reboot the bootloader between flashing the rom.zip and the GAPPS.zip. do these 2 straight after one another inside the recovery.
help me please
