[Q] HTC Desire hang

I tried to update it OTA and now my phone is hanging on HTC logo .
When I enter boot I get :
HBOOT-0.93.0001
RADIO-5.11.05.27
How can I revive it ?

Thanks to the great description i would say boot in to bootloader to see if you can do a factory reset, if you can't or it doesn't change anything run a RUU. You will lose all the data on the phone when doing so, sd is not affected as is all the stuff that is synced with google.

I tried factory reset . It doesn't change anything .
How can I run a RUU ? How to put it in RUU ?
PS : I don't care about tha data .

Ok i searched for 13 hours straight and finally found the solution...
You will have to make a gold card for it. Search on internet and you will get the procedure.
Then download the same RUU that you had in your mobile... like i had 2.29.405.5 and i could only restore on the same version.
Thats the only way in the world to solve it...
But it will happen again, because its basically edge that causes the problem. So you will either have to sale it or stop using 3G or edge :s

You dont need a gold card when you flash the original ruu, i.e. the Rom, that was installed out of the box. (branded/unbranded).
Try to boot your phone without sd-card. Did you flash a new rom? A A2SD rom without creating an ext-partition beforehand?

Before you did the ota, did you flash a custom rom?
If yes, did you need a goldcard for that? If no, your phone is unbranded and you need to flash a wwe-ruu.

[Q] [q] how to recover Black Screen Problem

Hi to all
I have a desire gsm. To upgrade its rom, I install hboot 0.08.0000. s-on condition.
While upgrading the rom to froyo(official release) i forgot to put my SD card & SIM inside mobile. At the end of the flashing process, an error shown in PC to do recover process. And an error shown in mobile about failed partition SD card.
After that I follow the recover process but cant turn on mobile(not even in Hboot mode)
Can any one please help me out to recover my mobile.

Run an up to date ruin. Might solve your problem. If not, send your phone off for repair or something.

DHD , rooted , i was trying to flash a new radio but all attempts failed ...
i did a stupid thing ... (maybe)
i tried to re-root it again cuz i thought may be my radio wasnt s-off ?!
guess what ?
after i did so , rooting process didn't complete , now phone doesnt work , recovery doesnt work , only bootloader .. !!!!!!
what can i do ?!\
ROM is on the SD ...
any solutions ?!
i cant access the recovery or the phone's OS !!!!!

If you have bootloader,you can run a RUU,and restore the system.

how can i do so ? i never heared about RUU roms .. i only used .zip roms ...

[Q] please guys , s-off but cant root or install custom recovery , help me

hey guys , my phone specs are
MARVEL PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
HBOOT-0.90.0000
MICROP-0451
RADIO-7.54.39.08M
the thing is , my phone was s-on , then i downloaded the ruu from htc dev , it said that my phone is not supported despite the fact that it was my exact htc arabic phone with exact software numbers , so i found a way on the forum to extract the rom.zip files from the ruu , so i did , and flashed it using sd card , it flashed only the radio update and refused to flash the other , now it says s-off , but i cant get the unlock code token with the htcdev method , the question is , do i still need it?
another problem is that i cant root my phone , i tried everything possible , really , i used the auto installer , i get the error (remote: not allowed) , i tried to manually install CWM , i get cid error , why is this so hard? , then i found that i have ship s-off not eng s-off , what the hell is that? , i am frustrated , i am trying to get this thing going since early December
please guys help me , i really love and support the android and open source ideals but the fact that manufacturers are making our lives so hard is bugging me

Hey can you pm me a copy of those zip files please?
Just download this file at http://fs05n2.sendspace.com/dl/6c10e56e31171b67e22e540029e1fa57/4f56a97b4b1ba276/2l50jw/root.zip and rename it to PG76IMG.zip and place to the root of your SD card, then go into bootloader and it will now automaticly ask you to update. Select yes if you want to root. Then it will reboot and you will have root.

Help maybe
Have u tried using htcsupertoolv2 ? U may also need to install superuser, titanium backup and rom manager, all are available on the android market except the htc tool which u can google for..

mm yea me too ... this is my friend phone .. i have htc wildfire ... so i`m asking this ... cuz i don`t know much about his phone and he want to s-off root and reinstal other Rom ... but i got this problem now and i`m reading everywhere but i can`t find how to fix it ... this is all cuz i s-off it with HTC-Unlockbootloader prolly ... don`t know
