Hi
Yesterday I've got the OTA to 20E for my D855.
Now I have a annoying problem.
Last night i left my G3 on the Original LG QI Charger (which i'm using since i've got my G3.
In the middle of the night i observed a strange behavior.
The G3 turns on displaying the Lockscreen... after about 5-10seconds the screen turns off... then it takes about 30-60 seconds the procedure starts over...
So the screen goes on .. off .. on .. off .. and so on.
The same behavior happens on another QI Charger.
Without the charger this behavior stopps.
I think this bevavior starts when the battery is full.
Has anyone else seen this behavoir or has a solution to turn this off?

Yeah cause the QI power is low so it start charging for 10'' then stops, the screen is on,then start, the screen goes off, then stop...etc etc etc!!
But before 20E (Android 5.0 I didn't have this behavior).
So there must be something wrong.
I am getting this as well, same charger as before android 5.0 update
It's an annoying bug that's been in all the G3 lollipop builds so far, I posted about it a while back: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help/lollipop-v20a-wireless-charging-textra-t2935987
I've been pestering LG UK via twitter to fix it, maybe if more of us contact LG in our countries it will get fixed?
@PsychoMania Thank you for your feedback. Since this issue is widly spread I've sent LG a message on the LG Service Page for Switzerland.
I'm curious to see if and when they will answer...
Can I ask when you off your phone and charge your phone will very hot at the screen and the back of the cover? Because everytime I charge the phone will turn very hot I also don't know why? Running on blisspop v2.3
Still new to LG and I get lg g3 d855. I only get it 1week ago.
Sorry for my bad English
I've been having this problem for a month.I usually would use my phone for awhile with 70-8-0% brightness and the phone would stop for a couple of seconds and turn off. I've been using CM 12.1 ,Aospal ,and LG stock 4.4. Usually when I turn my phone on, it'll boot up to the LG splash screen and turns back off. I tried to remove battery and turn it on, not responsive. Try to plug in phone without battery, no battery symbol. When I leave the phone to charge with battery, it heats up. The only solution I tried that works is to put in the refigerator ( I feel pretty dumb). I have sent my phone to LG before and never water damaged or dropped my phone.

I have a Lg G3 loaded with CM13 and im trying to use wireless charging, I have the lg wireless charging circle thing, and it starts by flashing green then after a second turns to flashing yellow and then after about 30 seconds turns red.
I am using all lg products to charge it and it really made no difference. Anyone ever encounter this before?
Hello everyone,
I'm trying a new telephone, gave on loan by a friend. So I left my G4 in the drawer for a month, and it's battery dropped to 0%. Today I tried to turn on the G4, the display showed me that the battery was full out.
But, when I plug in the charger, the telephone reboots, does the animation of LG booting and then stuck on the LG Life's Good logo, and the notification led keeps flashing blue as the common booting. I saw that the bootloop repeatedly reboots the phone before the animation , pratically when there's "Android" in the bottom part of the screen. My G4 stucks after this, so I hope that it's a sort of bug or something similar.
Any suggestion? Someone else have got this problem?

It is either the ilapo bootloop issue,Or it is a faulty battery. the LG G3 was reported of doing the same thing.
But hardware issues are a common problem on LG G4
You can attempt a warranty claim through lg possibly if hardware.
Try charging your battery externally using a desktop charger
if your phone boots it was probably a battery problem
if still stuck on logo then its either soft brick or ilapo
try all the soft brick fixes (like lgup and flashing twrp) and pray. if they work, that's good luck
if they don't that's probably ilapo
now u can try this
