It's getting late......after a long day waiting for this 3250 mAh battery to go flat, here is my review for what it is worth.
I have been searching for a month to find a battery that had the capability to last me all day. Not a bulky one! One that would fit within the original case. Not make my phone look pregnant.
I wanted a battery that i could Take off charge at 8am being able to last me all day, with LIGHT to MEDIUM usage (not heavy use!), right up until I went to bed at 10 and put it back on charge.
Is this the one??? (battery photos below)
I sourced this one. It just about fits the phone. I had to peel the battery label off at all 4 corners to get it in. It's fits in fine with standard Samsung back on. No bulge. I put in straight into my phone and charged it up to 100% then took it off charge and restarted the phone.
I'm not expecting amazing results on this first drain as I am more than aware it will take 3 to 4 cycles to gain it's full effectiveness. I am however expecting it to beat my standard battery display time on this first drain as it holda 34% more charge and then improve again after 3 more days use!
My stock Samsung battery lasts normally 4 hours display time with light to medium use. I have google location turned off, brighteness to auto and i am running gingerbread LA6. Full Samsung stock fresh out of the box. No root. No mods at all. And I have all the Samsung crap turned on and registered. I have google email with 2 accounts running. I play the odd game, and text and email like crazy. I used Ebay app heavily and also surf the Web lots. There are widgets on all 7 screens running and I always have a heavy usage live wallpaper running.
Phone finally starting to go flat... I will take screen shots of battery use and upload them. With my finally thoughts and finally 1st battery use screen shots as soon as it goes flat.
And obviously I'll look forward to your valued thoughts and views and make use of your experience as I'm new to this.......hopefully won't be too long!
Bye 4 now
1st day results in.
2nd day results in..
Photos of battery weights...
3Rd day results...

Ok..finally ran out of juice.
Remember this is not scientific just based on my daily normal use. But I did use my phone near enough full time today to make it go flat to see what it could do.
Again this is the first charge out of the bag. And I am interested to see how it gets on over the next few charges.
First Days below... More on day 2 tomorrow.

During the day there have been no issues at all. It's been cool all day, no strange out of the ordinary things happened at all.

This has been going on for years on Ebay. Fake batteries & fake memory cards from China. Don't know how they get away with it, but I suppose money talks.
Please keep us updated. 5h 19m is my best display time using the Anker battery.
Fake? ie not Samsung? Its a replacement battery, So what as long as they work and do what you want

I am extremely interested so please keep us updated. If we can get an extra hour I would be very happy!

Try the Anker battery, im seeing about an extra hour of display time over the stock battery.
That's exactly what I've found with this battery on the first cycle today. I'm hoping that will improve over the next few charge cycles.? We will see

I'm actually quite intrigued to hear about this...my boyfriend uses a non branded battery from China for his Galaxy S2 and he's had no problems with it seems. I think he may have got it from ebay too. Combining that with a rechargeable case he never has to worry about recharging his phone. I hope this one works out well.

When I had my SGS2, I bought a 3,500mAh battery from eBay. It lasted longer, but not as long as I expected.
I tested it with a battery analyzer and sure enough, it was 2,413mAh. I bought another two, those only measured out at about 2,100mAh.
Those high mAh ratings you see on ebay batteries are fake.

Like I stated earlier I've not got a care in the world about any 'fake' statements! @ £10 as long as it does what I want it's win win.

No fake as in false advertisement! That's not really 3250 or whatever mah. If it was why wouldn't Samsung have made a 3200 or 3500 mah stock size battery? I can get 8 hours and over 5 hours screen on with stock 2500 easy. Usually mine goes all day with 4-8 hours music and 3-5 hours screen and last from 7am to 10pm ... its a scam that battery is maybe 2800 mah if that .....

Well, it doesn't do what you think it does. After using it for ~3-4 charges, change back to your stock battery

Hi I'm using this http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008ZUT91I/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00 for last couple of months, very similar to the one you ordered. But I must say mine looks alot better as it actually goes around the sides of the phone not just little clips, your "case" appears to be a plastic slab that the one x lies on not a case as such.
Also for the price u quoted, I would sincerely doubt thats its 3500mah these cases from china are a perfect way for the less honest to hide there second rate batteries, my case is rates 2200mah and I would guess its more like 1000. The fact it only charges the phone to 60_65% from dead is a sure sign it isn't what it claims to be. Give it afew cycles to be sure, but being 3500mah I would expect your case to charge the phone almost fully, TWICE.
Please let us know how you get on.
My case was $24 (15GBP).

Thanks for the information, and I now.. I'm expecting lower even, but If it would really be 3500mAH it would be amazing, I will do test with playing video games such as NFS and so and post results.
Cannot wait for it to arrive still, no matter how much mAH , because I simply always run out of battery.
Arrived today!
It's charging now, cannot wait to try it out tomorrow.
Photo's will be uploaded shortly

I'm really looking for your opinion about this case, or anyone alse who has it.
is it heavy? is it really thin? or makes the phone fat? how much battery life does it adds?
cheers
I bought one of those a week ago. A total farce! Provides a +/- 220 mAh (measured by BMW v2.6.7) and never charged the phone to more than 67% from dead. Also, it took 6 hours to reach that before it died
Conclusion: math & experience show this to be:
Total Capacity: 1200 mA
Output current:+/- 200 mAh

very good
i bought it awhile ago, and i feel like the stock 1650mAh gave me more battery life than this extended one.. i notice by the Screen on time i got easily about 3 hours with evry rom/kernel on 1650mAh ,3hours screen on time + still 30% left
but with the 2000mAh i get only about 2 hours screen time while 30% is left :C what is wrong with it .. i thought itd be much better than this..
Have you tried clearing battery stats and doing a full discharge, recharge, discharge?

Try to use BatteryCalibration. May be it help you.
i tried everything ,battery*2000mAh genuine* still only givin me barely 4hours with min Usage LOL
Try to wait a little. I bought the original 2000mah battery and it needed about a week to give me 3-4 hours of screen time
Hi!! Did you buy an original samsung battery or a chinese-looking one?? because There are several posts here on XDA and in many other sites, wich explains you that only original batteries have the right amount of ampere. For example the Gold batteries, very common on ebay, promise you 3500 ampere, but they actually have less than the stock 1650 ... So buy only sammmie's battery!! they are way better!!
@ OP: How much you paid for it? What's the model number? I have two 2000 mAh extended batteries here, both performing well.
it cost me 35$ plus shippin cost i paid 60$ for it, its genuine.(Model:EB-K1A2EBEG) i get 4hours on screen time with brightness down to 0
i didnt get any better result than that.

Hi,
My wife One X battery perform very bad, I've reset her phone (Not rooted) and she installed just whatsapp, and still it drain 50-60% over 5-6 hours.
Tried battery stats reset and discharge and charge back to 100%. nothing really change.
I'm looking to buy her new battery, but I can't find who to trust on eBay.
This one is from China, good reputation
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-Ge..._Cell_Phone_PDA_Batteries&hash=item4174efae51
But China always sound like fake to me.
I need it shipped worldwide.
Thanks!
Hi,
I just bought a new HTC 10 one from ebay and updated it to Oreo
but it is draining over night when powered down (completely off).
It loses approximately 50% of a 100% charge when off for say 10 hours.
Is there any possible reason other than a duff battery?
Thanks
Steve
I would leave it on at night and monitor the drain overnight, that would be much more interesting because you will have all OS info at hand. How much it drained, what apps caused it and if it's even the same to when it's switched off.
Reverse thinking ?

I did the same (new HTC 10 from eBay) and had the same problem: it would lose its charge over 5 hours whilst doing nothing. Chatted to HTC Support who got me to run tests and concluded there was a problem.
Too late to raise a case on eBay (30 days, I think), but raised a case via PayPal (180 days). Vendor replaced the phone without problem, and touch wood, it's running OK.
Interesting, I wonder if it's the same seller. They sell as new, but I am sure they are not.
One had a corrupted filesystem and wouldn't update to 8.0, that's not a new phone.
I had to reflash it in order to update (love these forums!).
Currently, I've just sent to China for repairs for the second time - I'm expecting a cheap replacement battery to be fitted.
I've actually given up on it and bought a new Nokia 7 plus, now that's a lovely phone.
No more ebay phones for me.
