Are you rooted, or is your bootloader unlocked?
That can be helpful:

Devs, please move to appropriate category if i posted in wrong spot.
I was wondering if anyone knew how to un root and lock the bootloader back on the unlocked gsm version of the galaxy nexus? Rooted and unlocked for a buddy and now he is returning the phone. As easy as it was to unlock, i was wondering if it's close to the same command to lock? (switching unlock to lock) if so, then it would just be the matter of unrooting it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It is that easy. Format his phone then connect your phone in fastboot mode and type fastboot oem lock. That's it

hi,
i think i have broken hardware which are causing some touch screen issues....so i have to send it to htc center for it to get repaired...so need my warranty back
so i wanna know answers for:
1.how to unroot?
2.how to remove cwm and super user?
3.should i lock the bootloader?
4.what else should i do to make those guys(HTC) believe i didnt do any hacks?
plz help me out..........
thanks in advance........
Where are you from?
Are you using a custom rom?
Do you have a backup of your stock rom?
If you unlocked your bootloader with the htcdev method then you are probably out of luck.
Even if you relock the bootloader HTC will have your phones imei number on their database stated that you unlocked.

maybe you could try using the tool to control your bootloader.
Search on this forum "Control your Bootloader and set Superversion for downgrade" and you can change your unlocked in the bootloader to locked.
if you want to unroot i recommend you watch the video on MrTaco505's youtube channel
Remember to thanks if it worked =D
i am from india....ya backed up stock rom and runnin it now....cant they atleast do paid service if it rooted....
Hey guys, sorry for my bad english.
Guys, could someone help me? I was following the procedures to install a custom ROM, and when I use to unlock the bootloader Freegee gave a message: "sorry your version is not currently supported software." Asked for upload the boot image and when did the problem persists. If there is someone with the same problem, please help me.
Remembering that not bricked my cell, not only completed the bootloader, which is essential for using the custom rom.

Now the problem is another. When I tried to install the bootloader as I said above, I went with. Apk I saw a tutorial that passed me. It did not work as reported. Now tried with the PlayStore, busybox installed and executed normally. However, when I went to "unlock" there was no such option. Instead this was "re-lock", as if the bootloader was already unlocked, just not realized any unlock procedure. Could anyone help me with this problem? Appreciate.
Hi,
I've searched practically everywhere, but I can't find a solution for my problem. So my Xperia S device does not allow bootloader unlocking, and I was wondering if there is any other way to update android to at least 4.3? I know there is a way to root, but would that help me to update without unlocking?
Thanks for your help!
Hi, I got this watch as a gift and I was wondering if it is possible to lock the bootloader again.
It's not possible to do it over debugging mode, I was wondering if anyone has this problem
