i am using htc one x international verion.and it is an arabic middle east version..it was working well before.but i messed it out with it.
i had successfully rooted my fone and it do started.. and i thout that after rooting i can install theme directly by going in recovery mode and apply the ZIP file. but i messed it up..i did applied the zip but before installing the ROM. and now after doing that my phone starts well but stucks on the avatar logo.it was a theme.AVATAR-nightly-endeavoru.. so after that i had gone in recovery mode n deleted cache . wiped dalvik , and by mistakely i wiped the sd card...so my phone is blank now..and cant transfer any file in the sd thru recovery mod... so after that rooted recovery i tried an unroot. so now i am getting an unroot recovery..but that recovery is not openin..it is stuck with the red caution mark..as i feel there in no ROM (stock Rom) installed...
so please help me in any way..i need my htc to work..

HTC one X - arabic version..middle east version.
Flash philz recovery for the one x, it's somewhere on the forums use the search bar. After that you can go to that recovery, go to mount&storage and mount the sd card and copy a Rom on it from your pc and flash it
Don't forget to flash boot.img or your device will not boot

Please normalize your font-type, cause it not reads very well, probably most people skip your question cause of your font.
But you can do what Stefan0vic says... flash a custom recovery (Philz other recoveries should also be fine) and mount SD/Storage and then you can copy a zip to the storage of your device, but I would prefer doing it in Windows, most posts and tools in these forums use Windows method.

This should get you back up and running seeing that you still have access to fastboot.

hello, last night I did root the htc and installed TWRP, the mobile phone is also unlocked by htc dev. So I made a mistake in not having made a backup and even to worsen the situation gave wipe.
Now I do not know what to do to install one rom, whenever I try the adb sideload never recognizes the device. Can anyone help me? best regards

well, I was installing a aosp jelly bean rom and I installed the boot.img first and then flashed the rom, but the rom said that the install was aborted due to bootloader issues or something. I then tried to restore my nandroid backupand that put me stuck on the htc screen on bootup. I then tried to install stock recovery as a guide told me or something and it got rid of my backup. I have no idea what to do. I have reflashed CWM and can boot into the bootloader and the recovery. How can I install a new rom or a stock rom to make this work. Please help!
My main number is this : 4.18.401.4
my hboot version is 1.72.0000
my radio version is 5.1204.167.31

ok wich hboot and wich recovery you flashed first time, now you are with the stock one.
1. Unlock bootloader and flash THIS recovery
take the recovery.img from zip paste it in your fastboot folder and flash it with the command fastboot flash recovery recovery.img then go in recovery and charge the phone
2. Do you have some rom on your sd card?
3. Wich CWM version?
Edit if your AICP rom is still on sd card flash THIS RECOVERY then install the rom and flash the boot.img.
I think you tryed with the old recovery to install KitKat or LP rom big mistake

Why you not install some sense for first time or try to flash some CM12 or lolipop. Remember Philz 5.15.9 is only for JB roms and mount sd card work only on 5.15.9. If you want KitKat or Lolipop you must to change the recovery to this where I give you in my post, but dont forget to copy the rom to sd card with this recovery first., or easy way download some sense and flash it
Say wich rom you want to flash and I will give you the right link for rom

You are very kind when flashing a rom, do I remove the boot.img from the rom file to flash via fastboot, or do i just make a copy of it? I would like to flash cm 10.2 to begin with, which files do i need and which recovery? thank you in advance, you are a great help!
Also, my phone only came with 1.5gb free space for apps... It is a 32gb phone and i have 25gb of storage left but it says only 1.5gb out of 6gb for apps, how do i unlimit this?

10.2 is too old but it is your decision. just extract the boot.img from zip and put it in your fastboot folder. Don't extract the hole zip, and copy the original zip on your sd card. You can move the apps to your sd card CM support it
Well I want an aosp rom that means i can stick to the same recovery. It seems easier to stick to JB, would that be okay? Could you find me the relevant files?
I basically want the easiest one to install and the most risk free!

Hi devs,
My phone is HTC desire 816g dual sim(MT6592)
My problem is... whichever marshmallow rom I install... internal storage is not mounted.. so I can't use whatsapp... camera.. or any app that need internal storage.. Lollipop roms work perfect..
I read somewhere on the internet...that this problem is caused by twrp.. but there is no other recovery for my phone...
I searched a lot... but I didn't find any Marshmallow rpm that works... I flashed more than 10 marshmallow roms..
So please... help somebody..
Recovery tried:
TWRP 3.0.1 by ahmed hady (XDA)
TWRP 3.0.2 by keygen1( XDA)
hello, I have a solution to your problem, flash stock rom with sp flash tool then boot it, then shutdown your device and flash twrp 3.0.1 (ahmed hady) after flashing is done boot into twrp and go to wipe and format data and then boot into system again then shutdown your phone again and flash desired mm rom and your problem will be hopefully fixed, If you follow every detail I say, your problem will be fixed, it fixed mine after around 6months of struggle and should fix yours and I still don't know what the exact source of the problem is, just follow my instructions and your problem will be fixed
reply with the results and if it worked 'thank you' would be really appreciated
Every marshmallow ROM has high ram usage problem..
is there a fix for it?
