So I get this icon that shows my CPU usage and battery that appeared randomly on my notification bar. I'm not sure how it got there but I'm quite used to it now and like the looks of it. Does anyone know how to enable or disable it just incase it goes away on it's own? Or should I be aware of it because it can be a harmful third party app?

Can you post a larger screenshot of your phone? I can not make it out. Also, are you rooted and running any Xposed modules?

It's actually getting on my nerves now and I want it off and I don't know how, I restarted my phones a few times and it's still there.

Are you using any 3rd party app that monitor your cpu status ect.? I know when I used "Quick System Info" app I had the option to shows those info on my status bar.
Does it also show in the drop down panel? If it does long press on it and chose "App info".

Open your notifications and tap and hold the notification then click app info.
Nothing shows when I drag the notification bar but the same thing it does now. It covers my icons under it and if I were to be on Youtube watching a video on fullscreen it still shows. I haven't installed anything in about a week either. I don't want to take it to T-Mobile and ask since my phones rooted also

Can you provide a list of apps that you have installed? It would help narrow down which programs have the permission to draw overlays and that would likely reveal the culprit. Also, have you tried disabling the Xposed framework to make sure it's not one of the modules you installed (doubt it, but worth the trouble)?

A bit drastic if I say so. :silly:

You've installed something recently or changed an app's settings recently. That is an output from a monitoring app. CPU, GPU, or something of that sort.
You need to check that app(s) and uncheck whatever seems to point to showing it.

Agreed! It's definitely an app since it's always visible. It's creating a window on top of everything.

I just flashed Jedi Master X2 and it appears that there is a missing notification. It's the one between vibrate and LTE. Looks like something is missing.
Anyone else run into this?
Thanks.

This is a common inquiry on the master x thread. By most accounts it should be getting attention from the dev for the 3rd release.
Hastily spouted for your befuddlement
This is a known issue. Some of the notifications like the little eye is not showing up correctly. It will be fixed for the next update. I myself went back to Jedi x because I missed my pop up note feature

I think that is the Smart Stay. I have that also.
Any update for this issue? I installed JediRom today and I have this missing space there.
The one that had it, some advice/fix?
Thank you very much in advance!

Don't know what it was, I just choose another carrier when flashing, I chose AT&T instead of T-mobile even when my model is the SGH-889, but since I'm from another country it doesn't matter.
I'm using the Insane Kit Kat v9 rom for my S4 Tmobile but i don't see the signal bar. Can anybody solve the problem ?

Did you install xposed? If so install gravity box kk and look for the status bar mods. If that doesn't work then just download the latest The Sickness modz in the app forum and flash it. Select 1 of the signal bar modz and profit. Here is the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2769038 be sure to thank The Sickness for his hard work!

Smart stay is...sensitive :what: I guess. The sensors need a clear view of your eyes and it needs to be in a well lit area. Even with that, it will work 70-80 percent of the time.

It will work, but it needs to be in a lit or not too dark environment, in my experience it will work with a pretty dark environment but the key to making smart stay work is the angle, make sure your head or phone is in a way that the sensor can clearly see your eyes looking at the screen, otherwise it won't work even in a well lit environment

Check my previous post. And icon won't show until it checks to see if your eyes are looking at the screen. Like say you have screen time out at 30sec, it won't check till the last few seconds to see if you're looking at the screen

The icon shows when the phone is about to dim. When it does show that means smart stay detects you eyes and keeps the phone on.

Mmm in my case it does it even when it doesn't detect my eyes. It will show when its about to dim and then turn the screen off in a sec or two
Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
It's probably trying to detect your eyes but then doesn't. I'm not sure tho. It good light it, for me, it will show off and on and keep the screen on. In low light it will show for a second and them dim or stay on. It isn't 100% effective. From what I read it's 70-80

So I know how stupid this sounds, but I have the smart folders option enabled. I held down too long on the icon for my app drawer and flicked it up thinking it was the folder next to it, it landed on "remove" and disappeared, and now I can't figure out how to get it back. Does anyone know how to fix this without wiping my phone?
