Does anyone know how to get the menu button (feature) working?

I am unable to use any of the press and hold button assignments.
does not matter what I assign to the 'press and hold' button....it will not execute.
I know the apps work when assigned to the press buttons.
Any ideas on what is wrong or what needs to be corrected?

It is not crippling..just very inconvenient.....i would like to use all of the possible button functions.
Can anyone make a soft key bar with call button and menu button. I think it would be very good, because we don't need dock bar if it happens.

Hello,
Ive installed beanstalk RC1.1 yesterday and also installed the kitkat 1.03. When I change the DPI of the phone all is well until I am in an app and press the home button (center button). When pressed, I am brought to the home screen but then the keyboard pops up. I must then press the home button again to get the keyboard to drop away.
I have not re-mapped any of the keys. Its really annoying.. Does anyone know how I can change this so that when I press the home button it will bring me to my home screen and NOT bring up the keyboard?

Anyone having issues with the power button activating Google assistant? That's what mine does. I have to hold volume up + power to get the reboot options. Did I miss something? I'm looking for a setting in threads but finding nothing.
Update: I had to go to power button settings and turn off the option for Google assistant. Sorry to ask
In the Settings menu, navigate to the “System” section.
Next, go to “Gestures.”
Select the “Power Menu” option at the bottom of the list.
Finally, all you need to do here is toggle off the switch for “Hold for Assistant.”
