[Q] [Help] Need a RUU for HOX

Hy,
Please help me send a copy of a RUU.exe like we have on old htcruu website.
I have a HOX version 3.14.161.27 CID VODAP304 and I already try to restore a stock Rom but it has been two error's.
Can you find me this RUU or another stock Rom for my HTC?

probably that RUU will never be available... branded RUU are almost impossible to find, the vodafone ones in particular....

Is you want to go back to stock you can also use the nandroid backup which you had made. If you dont have the back up

Question - MID & CID Playing

I have m8 with TELUS canada Cid and mid , i change my mid and cid to uk , and nandroid restore from UK backup 1.54.401.5 , after it i get an ota and it update me to 1.54.401.10 , i think my hboot , radio and recovery also get updated with this OTA , Now if i have to revert back to TELUS nandroid i have to change offcourse cid and mid but have to flash radio and hboot too of telus ?

Flash the last firmware for Telus after changing cid/mid back and then restore latest Telus nandroid for THAT firmware

Right but OTA i download is for EU WWE, for telus my nandroid is latest

You don't need a Nandroid with the same Cid, aslong as the main version is the same.
If your MAIN VERSION is there (CID does not have to match, only the exact main version)

You updated the hboot with a firmware flash to 1.39 but you have no nandroid, your main version is 3.14.206.** now you can download the 2.17.206.** ...

The best way is to use RUU 3.14.401.31 but yes you can

1.40 OTA RUU file

hey guys
iam on 1.6 insertcoin ROM i wanted to upgrade firmware but due to restriction of s-OFF i cant upgrade , can i get RUU file for 1.40 ? any one have it yet?

If you're not s-off you need the ruu of your current firmware version. To help you we need more information. The phone provider (international, verizon...) The firmware version you currently have, branding operator and the cid would be helpful.

MY CID IS J15 , its unlocked version bought in iraq
my current firmware is 1.32.401.15 .
( i installed this firmware its stock i flashed the ROM by OPJAIMG but cant get OTA ) .
now i flashed RUU.exe 1.32.401.17 but get error /:
Code:
ERROR [155~159]: IMAGE ERROR
One of these error messages will appear when you use the incorrect RUU to update and the image file size is larger than the Flash ROM size. In this case, download the correct RUU version and try again.

Please flash 1.32.401.8 0PJAIMG.ZIP from sd card formatted in FAT32..
Then repeatedly update all way up to 1.40.401.8

M8 stock rom

my current software version is 6.12.401.4
can I go back to its stock rom using RUU?
and the phone is European WWE. is there any way to convert it to WWE Asia?

You mean fully convert using RUU? You would need s-off ($25 by sunshine app, unless it already happens to be s-off) and change the CID. Unless you are seeking the change the band support, its probably not worth it to fully convert.
