[Q] Sony Xperia SL won't boot after Flashing KA Xperia SSpeed kernel v7

Hey, so I flashed KA Xperia SSpeed kernel v7 to my phone after having successfully Installed the ROM for SSpeed Kernel. After I tried to reboot the phone it just will not turn on.
The only thing that happens is as follows:
-If I hold power and UP volume button the phone will vibrate once and then vibrate 3 times.
-If I plug the phone into my computer nothing will happen until I press the volume up and power button
-IF I do the 2nd thing, the Green LED light on my phone either stays solid green or stays green for about 10 seconds, turns off and comes back on again.
-Flashtool recognizes the phone is connecting and disconnecting but will not perform any functions because it says "13/034/2012 16:34:40 - ERROR - This action needs a connected device"
-Flashtool says my device is connected in Flash Mode
I can provide any more information if need be. Please help, I really don't know what to do and I'm in serious panick mode

here try this:
1.connect your phone to pc.hold power+volume up then wait till it vibrates three times.
2.open flashtool then choose the firmware you want to flash.
3. when it says connect your phone, hold power+volume up then wait it vibrates 3 times again then immediately hold power+volume down.
4. then it will flash the firmware.

[HARD BRICK] can't get in CWM or turn off sony xperia S LT26i

Hello guys, I have a Xperia S LT26i in the Italian official version of software 6.1.a.2.55 rooted by E-Root v1.0.14 ( locked bootloader )
i wiped battery stats (after wiping data...cache ...all what we can wipe, mount and unmount every thing from the clockworkmod )
i reboot the mobile from the recovery then it crash in the Sony logo it crashes in the sony logo which stays a long time i forced restart by pressing Power button+volume(+) ( tried one viration and three vibrations )
Then the sony logo appeared and won't go away.. I cant boot anything. doesnt respond to hard reset (3 vibrates)
PC wont recognize my phone.
then the same thing happened until nothing displays on the screen and the notification led litghs red lights red when I connect with pc or AC power
then the mobile doesn't turn on or start on recovery mode again and is not recognized by Windows on Flashtool or on the SEUS
i tried to remove/insert battery, waiting to battery drain, charging the mobile without results
what should I do?

When I hold vol(-), connect the phone to pc led become red most times and once in a way it become green for a short time then comeback to red not the time to do a full repair sony update Service or full flash with flashtool i did a successfull repair with the Sony update Service but stopped in the middle and then continued they said that's the phone is repaired successfully but i still have the problem ( won't turn on won't start recovery )

Can you try with another cable? Maybe the one you used is damaged. The phone normaly doesn't exit flashmode when recovery / repair is started.
If this doesn't help give it a try with newest flashtool, get a ftf file for stock fw .55 or any other version you want (would prefer any ICS version). Prepare everything in flashtool until you're told to connect the phone in flashmode than do so ( hold vol(-) ..., or do a soft reset and hold vol (-) with connected usb cable. If your phone enters flashmode (green led), flashtool should start flashing immediately.

[Q]Flashmode

Hey,
Taking advantage of the latest release I want to ask for help with flashmode. When I try to put my z1c into flashmode the led blinks red and green for a fraction of second and nothing more happens. Have you ever encountered something like this before?
I'm running w8.1, could this be the problem?
If this is of any matter, fastboot works fine and my phone is unlocked, rooted and whatsoever.

What do you mean? Nothing more happens, flashtools does nothing. The pop-up prompt stays open

It's normal for the led not to stay on so use flashmode as normal, if it's failing you're doing it wrong.

You need to instal flashtool drivers and your z1c drivers. After entering first time flashmode in your phone your drivers should be installed firstly after pluging your phone

I used the drivers from the Flashtool/drivers folder, installed fastboot, and all Z1 compact drivers. Got no issues, except that the phone was exiting flashmode and rebooting to system, before the flashtool could prepare the whole ROM package I was attempting to flash. This is easily resolved - you just wait for the "prepare files" process to finish, and then the flash tool prompt you to connect the phone in flashmode. Do it and the flashing begins immediately after that.

EDIT: Still nothing. I am not getting any sound while connecting my z1c in flashmode to the PC. simply, nothing happens.

Trying to restore stock

I've got a FTF file and Flashtool installed on my Mac. When I go to flashmode and select the directory with the FTF file, all i get it a message telling me to "press the back button" on my Z1C and plug in the USB cable.
I guess it means hold DOWN? But that just loads up CWM
Can you even use Flashtool when you have CWM installed cos all the guides tell you to hold down which puts it into Sony stock recovery mode. I have CWM and want to flash back to stock, but I don't know how to flash FLFs with CWM, and I can't get Flashtool to work.
Any ideas guys.. i'm stuck..

You need to turn off you device firstly and run flashtool and wait to this moment when appear window with info to hold back button next step is to hold vol down and after that while holding this you must plug your USB cable to your pc and should will start flashing
And this mode is called flashmode vol up is fastboot mode

Thanks for the reply. The process you described it what I am doing. I set up Flashtool and wait for the popup message, then I turn the phone off, power it on with DOWN held down. This boots the phone into CWM, and the popup message never goes away
Does Flashtool work when you have CWM installed? Or can I flash FTF files with CWM?

Mate you can't power on your phone by vol down you need to push only vol down button without power button.
And you must hold it while connecting to pc

Thanks guys, I was powering on the phone, then holding volume down, then inserting the USB. I must have misread the instructions or something, I didn't know the phone had to be off first...
It took a couple of tries but I got it right... you have to hold volume down then put the USB cable in quickly otherwise the LED just stays red, rather than turning green.
Flashtool is now doing its thing.... Thanks again :good:

Hardbrick?

My C1905 stopped working yesterday. When I'am trying to turn it on by pressing power button, it vibrates once and screen remains black. I tried to repair it using PC Companion. I can't, when i'm entering flashmode, pressing Volume Down and then connecting device to PC, LED becomes green but PC can't recognize my phone. I'm trying this also using Flashtool. The same effect. Bootloader is locked, i've never modified my ROM. Fastboot is working.

At first make sure you have installed flashtool drivers.
remove the battery & wait for 1 min then insert. open flashtool selct flashmode select ftf file. wait it will ask you to connect your mobile to pc. Then Connect your mobile to pc while pressing the volume down button. thats all.

I did every step. Neither PC companion, nor flashtool detects my phone in flashmode. Ive installed drivers, charged battery etc. It did not worked. Can i flash using fastboot?

if the notification light is not turning at all than your phone is as good as a dummy

Alter connecting to PC, the light becomes red for about one second or less, then turns into green and stays that way, even if i disconnect my phone, light keeps staying green untill i remove bariery.

your device is not hard bricked. because it is vibrating & led is working. you can solve the problem by flashing ftf with flashtool. try again in another pc

now my PC detects it as ZEUS Flash Device. LED stopped ligthing. Vibrations after turining the device on stopped also. What happened? I did completely nothing.
