Can someone tell me how to manage this? I got the notice that the update was ready to install and pressed the screen to restart the device and update it. However, when it did restart, it just got to the TWRP interface and I have no idea what to do next.
It's the stock rom, just unlocked, twrp'ed and rooted.
Hi all
I own this magical and wonderful device, Italian version *lol*
after a wipe mistake I am found at this situation:
1. Device can't boot normally. TWRP says "No OS Installed! Are you sure you wish to reboot?"
2. TWRP works properly. I have flashed the recovery as suggested in this thread but I would need a factory stock image.
3. Odin don't see my device for some reason so I can't use it
My idea is that somehow I managed to wipe the OS and now I am faced with three mithycal questions questions:
1. How to solve this issue? I searched the forum for my model stock factory image but no luck.
2. Can I install a random ROM from inside TWRP somehow via the install menu? I did that with the recovery image but it still says there is no OS
3. Last but not least: will I be able unroot it and then with the Triangle system get it back to shape and send it to samsung? I had a little bit of a problem - that is the reason i tried the wipe in the frist place - with the 3g connection not working anymore.
Thank you in advance for your help

Ok so I have a samsung galaxy s3 att and I have been rooted for the past month or so, no issues. Then, I decide to install a custom rom so I get a stable cm11 and attempt to flash it and it says my cwm version is too low so the reboot my phone so I can update it. The phone starts to boot and gets stuck on the att globe logo with the blue light pulsing. I shut off the phone, pull out the battery and try again, still nothing. I start getting scared so I restore the nandroid backup I made right before this custom rom incident and boot it, still gets stuck at the same place. I really need my phone fixed so can someone help me please??
I was talking to @sd_shadow on another forum earlier and was wondering if he could help me?

Don't panic
Grab the latest version of philz touch recovery https://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition/d2lte/
The zips are made to be flashed from a recovery like cwm. Install it using cwm, reboot into recovery and philz should come up. You should be able to proceed with wiping and installing your custom rom at this point.
If the zip doesn't work out for some reason, you could also use Odin to flash a .tar.md5 from that link to update your recovery.

So the old ROM I was on (a super outdated Android Revolution) needed to be updated because my battery was draining a lot and I figured I would update everything. Apparently I flashed a bad or wrong version of TWRP, so I can't get into recovery. It just sits there trying to get into recovery but it keeps failing. Then I tried using MultiRom recovery and installing that through the app in the play store. Now my phone won't go into recovery and just boot loops. I can get into the HBOOT menu but I can't get into recovery or boot the device at all. Does anyone have any ideas to get a working recovery or working ROM? I already backed up my pictures and videos and stuff, but I forgot to transfer my titaniumbackup files I've been trying to look around and see how to fix it but I don't want to do something that will cause more damage than I've already done. I did all this to update my firmware so that I can use the newer ROMs. Anyway if anyone has any ideas I'm all ears.
Thanks in advance.
You didn't mention whether or not you are S-off and/or bootloader unlocked.
Since you already have a custom ROM, you must have unlocked your bootloader at some point, so if it is STILL unlocked, just reflash the correct recovery from fastboot. If it is not, unlock it with HTCdev first, then reflash the correct recovery.
Alternately, if you just want the phone fixed, you can always re-run the AT&T RUU - though that will trash any files you have on the phone.
Yeah that's what I did yesterday thanks for the response!
Hello my phone stuck in bootloader and "reboot" is taking me back into same place. I know how to restore default firmware but I need to backup my media before that. Already tried installing htc m9 driver but still my computer won't see the device in order to backup. Any help please?
I mean it does get seen but won`t be able to do anything further. Can`t show the image link because of rules so I will have to describe it. I`m using Dr.Fone and once I click the Backup option the selections screen comes next and there is my model yet after choosing that model it tells me that my device can`t be recognized.
Is it possible to return to stock rom without erasing the phone data?
