Hi forum,
i recently bought a second hand Note II and it was still running jelly bean and had optus software and apps pre-installed. So i decided to download a stock kit-kat rom for the note II. I installed using Odin and after installation i have noticed that my entire screen has a yellow tinge to it,all except the notification area at the top of the screen. (battery, reception etc.). This was definitely not there prior to installing kit kat. To be honest i flashed an s2 i had with a stock jelly bean rom using odin as well and it did the same thing. Anyone know how i can fix this or why it has occurred?
thanks
No one?

Hey guys,
starting last night my Galaxy S3 began to freeze and then randomly shut off. I then had to press the power/home button for a while for it to turn on (around 20-40secs). At first I thought it might be a battery issue, but I used another S3 battery and the issue persisted. I bought the phone in June, and it is currently unrooted but running a leaked Bell Jelly Bean rom which I installed a while ago....
Not sure what the issue could be, and I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same issues or if anyone had a fix?

What ROM are you running ?
Same here, started last night. I'm not running a ROM just rooted and a few apps removed. In the process of reverting to unrooted stock to see if that helps.

It might need a factory reset
EDIT: Ahhh I just noticed you must be on the international version. June didn't ring a bell until I remembered we didn't get carrier models until July
Might want to head over there

i agree on the reset. as a matter of fact, i'd suggest a full wipe, flash the appropriate stock firmware in odin and full wipe again. this tends to solve the biggest issues when users update/change android operating systems.

Do y'all have the i747 or the i9300 international version ? 4.1.2 was never released for north America phones and you quoted a UK version of the OS
Don't flash anything on this site unless you have a i747 or i747m
whenever i flash any custom rom whether the rom version is android 4.2/4.1.2/4.1.1 , my phone has no bootscreen and a messed up flashscreen when it sais (samsung galaxy note 2 GT-N7100) but then after waiting the appropriate time, the rom works fine but same problem when rebooting... i attached the flashcreen and how it looks like, i have no idea why this happens.i just press the lockscreen after rebooting and waiting and the rom works normally. i rooted using the Galaxy Note II Toolkit v3.0.0 GSM. i first experienced this right after flashing and entering recovery(cmw) but twrp worked fine then, now any rom i flash i experience this,
Is anyone faceing a similar problem or can help in anyway ?
I am using Samsung Galaxy note II GT-N7100
possible hardware issue.. have you tried reflashing the original firmware?

So I have my galaxy s4 here and its vibration seems really weak from bootscreen to the actual phone. I've installed cwm and rooted the device. I wasn't having this issue before but now its really weak. I have CyanogenMod 10.1.2 installed on it. Anything I can do?

The best thing you can do is to start at square one and Odin flash the stock firmware
to get your phone back into proper working condition.
You can find and download the official stock S4 firmware at http://SamMobile.com
Good luck!
Hello XDA. Currently I own a Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH T999 from T-Mobile. As soon as I got it I had my cousin root it for me. For a while I had no issues flashing ROMS. The ROM I am using is AVATAR 4.2.2. I am noticing now that when I go to flash a new ROM it stays in the boot logo screen. It does that with just about every ROM I try to flash. I went back to my cousin and he updated TWRP for me. To this day I am still having the same problem. I am not sure what is going on please help me.

Be aware that you need to completely wipe your phone when switching between ROMs (does not apply if you are upgrading to a newer version of the same ROM). Flashing over can cause issues like yours.
hi all, I got real strange behavior on my note ii recently. my note ii is generaly sluggish after using ezkat for sometime and lots of problems. I just decided to go stock and flashed the stock ROM this time. But to my surprise, the note ii is overly sluggish, (several seconds to respond to swipe) even after wiping out all the data and re-flash the stock ROM or ezkat. I am wondering what could be causing this?
Did something in the phone broke?
or could it be due to a low-level software i.e. bootloader or Philz Touch I have been using for sometime?
Here is my software information on my phone:
kernel version:
3.0.31-1728680
[email protected] #1
I have tried either of the followings:
ezkat_4.4.2_beta2.zip
i317-cw-ucucne5-stock-odex.zip
Also another weird thing is that, the screen will timeout and go blank even during i am using which is very annoying. It does not matter what timeout setting i set in the display section of system settings.
Thanks.,

Might be bootloader or kernel. Instead of flashing rom through recovery, flash stock rom using odin.
thanks followed this one:
