LED Control
• So what does it do?
Lets the user select kernel specific "charging triggers" for the device's LED which will make it light up when plugged in depending on the specific "charging triggers"
• Why this app?
Well all of these triggers can be set from the command line, but I found it to be very cumbersome and tedious. Motivated by my laziness, I created this app. Although it was intended for the Moto G, I discovered that it would also work on Moto X, E and Nexus 6 too, theoretically on any device which has a "charging" LED.
• Features:
Clean and simple UI (I have tried my best to make it Material Design compliant)
Brightness Slider: Control your 'charging' LED's brightness while charging, if your device supports it. Currently works only on Moto X and Nexus 6.
Set On Boot [PRO only] : Automatically sets the last chosen trigger on a reboot, since the values are reset each time the kernel restarts. Available in Pro version only.
Available triggers: (You may not see all in your device)

When camera flash (rear LED) is on NEW
When Bluetooth is enabled NEW
Always on NEW
* ROOT ACCESS IS REQUIRED *• Instructions:
Grant Root access on first run
Enable the Master Switch
Select a trigger and optionally choose brightness.
Plug in your charger and see the magic
There are different triggers for different devices, so try experimenting
• Screenshots: (from Pro Version) (Screenshots are outdated; will update soon)
NOTE:
This will 'enable' the hidden LED on your Moto X/Nexus 6. This app cannot set it to be used for notifications; it can only use it as a charging indicator.
The Brightness slider will not work on devices where there's a kernel limitation on setting the brightness- specifically the Moto G and Moto E.
Moto G and Moto X in this whole post refer to 2013 models only, I have not tested on 2014 models.
The app is tested and confirmed working on Nexus 6, Moto G, E, X and Droid Ultra/MAXX. However, it may also work on a Motorola phone other than the above, so give it a try, can't hurt

P.S: Since I'm utterly new to Android/Java programming this app took me several hours spanned over several weeks to build. But it was an awesome experience and I had a heck of a time coding it. :good:
I look forward to making more apps in 2015.

Thanks for the updates. I have created a Tasker profile that starts your app when I put my phone in it's dock, coupled with certain other conditions (being connected to my wifi too). When creating the exit task to kill the app when I remove from the dock, I have to use root.
Just info for anyone else considering a similar approach.

Updated. v1.3
* Auto start when power cable plugged in option added
Sprint First U.S. Wireless Carrier to offer Jelly Bean to Samsung Galaxy S III Customers,
Rollout Starts Today
Today, Sprint became the first U.S. wireless carrier to offer the Android™ 4.1.1, Jelly Bean, update to
its Samsung Galaxy S® III customers. The update began rolling out today and adds a host of new and
enhanced TouchWiz® features, offering a faster, richer and more responsive device experience.
The update is available as an over the air update. When your Galaxy S III is eligible for the update, it
will automatically download. Once the download is complete, you will be prompted to install the update.
Installation will take a few minutes, and your device will be disabled during the installation process. It will
be ready to use when the process is complete.
Jelly Bean offers users a smoother, faster and more fluid experience with expanded feature functionality,
including:
• Google Now™ gets you just the right information at just the right time, like how much traffic to
expect before you leave for work or when the next train will arrive as you're standing on the
platform. Google Now can be launched by pressing and holding the menu key from the home
screen.
• Expandable, actionable notifications allowing you to take action directly from the notifications
shade.
• Android Beam™ now lets you send photos and more.
• Widgets work like magic as you place widgets on the screen, everything else automatically
moves to make room; when they're too big, widgets resize on their own.
Samsung also added new capabilities to Galaxy S III, including:
• Camera Enhancements:
o New live camera and camcorder filters offer a range of new ways to spark your creativity.
Warm vintage, cold vintage, black and white, sepia, color highlights (blue, green, red/
yellow), and many more are selectable from the main camera screen.
o Pause and resume while recording video allows users to string together multiple captured
video clips from a party, birthday, or sporting event into a single file with no post editing
required.
o Low light photo mode takes advantage of Galaxy S III's best-in-class High Dynamic
Range (HDR) capabilities and offers an optimized mode for low light and indoor photos.
• Pop Up Play Update easily resizes or pauses the Pop Up Play picture-in-picture video window,
taking full advantage of Galaxy S III's powerful processor and large 4.8-inch display.
• Easy Mode is a simplified user experience option for first-time smartphone owners, providing
large home screen widgets that focus on the device essentials.
• Blocking Mode can disable incoming calls, notifications, alarms and LED indicators for a
designated period of time.
• Improved Usability with access to multiple keyboard options and the addition of the Swype®
keyboard.
With the Jelly Bean update, Galaxy S III will also add support for some exciting new accessories.
• AllShare® Cast Wireless Hub allows users to wirelessly mirror their phone screen to any HDTV or
HDMI® display. It even supports licensed content playback of premium TV and movies.
• NFC One Touch Pairing Support pairs Galaxy S III with supporting NFC Bluetooth® accessories
in a single touch.

Thank you, as stated by JJEgan, these are the rules...
The only exception for a paid app being posted on XDA is if it is identical to the free one, then we see it as a donation rather than making money.
Thank you for your cooperation
Bit of feedback: It's a lovely app. Easy to use etc. However, the app seems to close itself after a while thus i cant access the bar. Also i'd like to see movable icons, as I'd like to have the flashlight at the left instead of all the way right.
Thanks for the feedback. You can rearrange the flashlight and other buttons in the settings by dragging them from the left.
Is like your fastcam app, really usefull if you got kids..

I'm thinking of switching from 1+9 pro to pixel 6 pro. What are the disadvantages of this device in comparison with 1+?
I've just switched from a Oneplus 9 to a Pixel 6 Pro and the only things I am missing are the alert slider, face unlock and the smaller pre-Android 12 quick settings with separate wifi and data toggles. Apart from that everything is either the same or better. I got sick of the bugs in my Oneplus 9, especially a significant Android Auto one which does not occur on the Pixel.
Just a note that if you root you can use a Magisk Module to get face unlock.

For separate wifi and data toggles you have to put this in adb
settings put global settings_provider_model false
settings put secure sysui_qs_tiles “wifi, cell,$(settings get secure sysui_qs_tiles)”
I did that with Android 12

I did that earlier today, but it still only means two quick settings per row instead of the six I use to have on the OnePlus.

The QuickSettings style is from the first item in my list above. StatusBar items I modified using the second item in my list. The third item in my list, Themer, has the ability to enlarge the clock in the QQS (Quick QuickSettings / first swipe down), so I might try it again and see if it'll play nice with both of the other modifications.
Note that although the options I chose in the first two modifications work with each other just fine, note that doesn't guarantee they'll keep working together, but I hope they do. The first item appears to override the second item as far as QuickSettings, at least for me.
