Hey all - My phones stuck in a bootloop after installing Lollipop - Im assuming the Ressurection Rom has issues?
Ive downloaded a previous release - But not sure how to get it onto my phone now as i can only use recovery - Ive gone to Mount, And enabled MTP - But my phone wont show up as storage on my PC so i can put the new rom over.
How do i do this?

Hi guys,
I bought a new OTG cable and have tried a lot of thing on my nexus 7(2013) for it to detect the cable and flash drive.I tried stickmount, many OTG troubleshooters(which show a tick in front of the OTG detected). But was unable to see the files in my flash drive.I have unlocked bootloader and recovery mode and have also rooted my device and was using elementalx but I restored it to the previous state(with stock kernel). The point is that I am able to see my flash drive files in the file explorer in recovery mode but am unable to see it when my nexus is switched on.It doesn't show any notification when I connect my OTG to the Nexus. Can anybody help me with this?
Note: I am using kitkat (4.4.2)
Solution to the problem
Hey guys,
nobody replied
but I found the solution myself
It wasnt working because I was using ElementalX kernel
When I restored it to the previous version (Stock Kernel) and installed stickmount it detected it.
So if anybody needs any help regarding this post me a message.
Also I have confirmed that Mouse and keyboard are also working
So the basic process is you need to unlock bootloader,Root your device and install stickmount and also a filemanager for browsing your Flash drive.:good::laugh:
feeling happy and satisfied as of now.

Do you have a backup? If not, do you have the ROM's .zip still on your phone?
i did have both but neither would work lol i finally flashed it using the flash tool but i had to flash with a 801at.tot and dll and now the phone just reboots about 1 min after start up :/
Dear all, I Need Your help!
Xperia Z1 Compact, rooted with EasyRootTool
Stock Rom 4.4.2
Stock Recovery+Bootloader (LOCKED)
USB Debugging UNCHECKED
I edited my built.prop (made changes to "Samsung" to try to get gear fit-Apps working)
After a restart I am now stuck in boot-loop:
only see the Sony-logo (xperia-logo does not appear)
This is what I tried without success:
- boot into recovery (did not work because it is stock+locked?)
- connect the phone via ADB, Sony Flashtool, Odin (was not able to get a connection)
Do You have any idea what I could do now?
Thanks, Joe
Problem solved.
Maybe there would have been a better way, but I finally could flash the stock Rom via Flashtool.
I have a big problem. My tablet will not be recognized anymore by any window computer/laptop. If i connect with cable nothing happens and can not see the device in explorer. Charging is still going okay with difficulty in a normal 220/230 Volt socket. My nexus 7 is rooted, does that mean that i do not get any OS updates over the air anymore, because i dont get any update. I want now to try to update manually to lollipop 5.0.2, not over the air and not with usbcable and pc. Is this possible and if yes, how, who can help me out here?
Did you solve your problem ? I suppose you have a Nexus 7 ( 2013 ) Wifi-only edition ( flo ) ?
I suppose your already have the latest TWRP ( or similar ) custom recovery installed ? If yes, you can simply download a Stock based 5.0.2 custom ROM ( for flo ) and simply perform a dirty flash in TWRP ( make sure to make a Nandroid Backup first, safety first ).
Did you check if you enabled USB debugging and also switched MTP mode on ?
Hi guys,
Please bear with me as I'm new to this scene.
My LG G3 Cat.6 (F460L) is currently stuck in bootloop, can't enter recovery mode as well but it can go through download mode but my PC won't recognize it (tried different usb cables and tried it on another PC, still no luck). I made an error when I was trying to flash twrp into recovery but accidentally flashed it to boot (I was quite unsure about what I did but I think I flashed a wrong version of twrp for recovery and tried to reflash the right version but accidentally flashed it to boot, if that made sense). I was able to get into the factory wipe screen and after pressing yes it goes right into bootloop again. Was also able to get into another screen with turn on, turn off and cancel options but I'm not sure what it does because it's all in korean. My PC can't recognize my device right before this happened so I think that explains why it also can't recognize it while in download mode. I saw something about Qualcomm stuff but I'm unsure as to how it is done (the shortpin part) and i don't think my PC would even recognize it as it can't even recognize my device in the first place (faulty micro usb port I guess). Any fix that you guys can think of? Thank you very much!
