Has anyone gotten xposed up and running on the g pro yet?
Yep. Been working fine pretty much from the day I got the phone (year and a half ago). I just have root on the stock att kit kat firmware and several xposed modules going.

Sorry about that. To my understanding, no one is able to use xposed on lollipop (g pro or not). Last I checked, xposed hasn't been reworked to be compatible with the ART runtime that is on lollipop by default. Until then, you need to have dalvik set as your runtime for kit kat and below. It's been a little while since I checked though.

Cool, thanks for letting me know. That thread is already crazy huge! Only 22 hours old and our already has 115 pages!
I'll likely wait for an update from lg and then do xposed. I tend to have the least problems with factory stock and then tweaking with xposed. It's been a while since flashing a Rom for me.

I know there are numerous members including myself, that have updated to KK 4.4.2, and just experienced nothing but crap, in comparison to 4.3, which we cannot go back to. But, luckily there is a Galaxy Note 3/Galaxy S4/Nexus 5 god somewhere. They have heard our complaints about the srewed-up update released, and are currently working on the fix, which will be named 4.4.3. This update will fix numerous issues, involving the most talked about, camera and data drops......ps. connection drops, etc. I've read they are currently testing the update, so in other words, they jumped right on it. I hqve been suffering from the 4.4.2 sickness every since the update, wishing I could, or someone find a way to go back to 4.3. I just recently updated my Galaxy S 4, not aware of the troubles, but didnt run full testing method to ensure that I respected the update. I just immediately fell In love with the smoothness and speed, unaware of the crap under the covers. And then I got bold and updated my Beast of Hardware, the Note 3...........and was overwhelmed by the lack of tlc of the update. But threw all the rebooting, the battery pulls, the waiting for sitez to load, the non responsive buttons, they are working to fix this horrible experience. Thanks you Android for wasting time, but at least aorking to fix the problems. Upon release of the fix, I cant wait to see the sweetness the Dev's bring to the table with the new OS fix.

Will 4.4.3 allow third party apps to write to the SD card again like in 4.3? If so I'm game!
Everything I posted in my previous post happened to me. I don't know about sd writing, but like all others, it should. See what I mean, I had to reboot just respond on these comments.

Damn, I just bought one. SHould get here in a couple days. Sure hope it's not 4.4.2. If it is and I can't install TWRP, then it's going back up for sale.

The Note 3 Bootloader is not locked. The Bootloader is Knoxed or secured in a way not to allow to go backwards. I can't remember what it is exactly but the Bootloader is still unlocked on 4.4.2

The bootloader is unlocked. Even on 4.4.2. The qfuse won't let you downgrade the bootloader, but it's unlocked. I have the 4.4.2 bootloader with TWRP 2.7.0.0 and running leanKernel, so obviously it's not locked.

Back when 4.4.2 was released a member here that works for Samsung said when it would be released and it was released on the exact day he said it was. He also said another update was already in the works for May so it is no surprise that another should be hitting before long.

Hi guys,
Just bought this a half hour ago. I have the G2 so I already know I want to root it. What should I do? I haven't turned it on yet. I'm guessing it will OTA once I do. Is that bad? Should I root beforehand? Any advice is welcomed!
Just turn it on, it wont take the OTA unless you tell it to.
Cool. I heard you can use ioroot 25 with 4.4.2. So I'm upgrading and I think I'll root then.

Oh it runs great. I just left it stock with root so I could back up apps and whatnot. And get rid of ads.
I just bought my LG g pad and it is asking to update. Should I stay on 4.2 our go up to 4.4? What would I be missing?
Thanks for any guidance!

If you want to stay with LG I would suggest flashing this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2706750. Seems once you accept the factory update a lot of people have issues rooting and switching to different roms. Congrats on your purchase and enjoy it :good:

4.4 as long as you realize that you may run into issues with the sd card depending how you use it. That goes double if your not rooted because most of the helpful utilities require root.
It's a cracking tablet either way.
I went from a Nexus 7 to a G Pad.
I stuck with stock and upgraded to 4.4.
I'm very happy with it.
I may consider root in the future depending upon storage.
Thanks for all the feedback. I have gone to 4.4 and the tablet is great very happy with my purchase. thanks guys

The update is H81210f, I installed it through LG Bridge after unrooting (well, selecting "remove root" in superSU, not sure if that step was needed or not). Seems like touchscreen performance is fixed on this one.
OK nice to hear.. So we have to wait for the flashable zip.
