To tell you the truth, no overclocking Suggestions, be, and the CPU
I know that Playpetepp uses my kernel at 1.267 GHz
Edit.. Damn just saw the original date
To avoid mess up in tread i decide to separate kernel from Rom.
This is going to be my Kernel palace
GB Kernel V1 include:
Overclock to max stable 1836 mhz
Under-volt all frequency
New low power level (Saves ~8ma at battery for low fps apps)
Add 5 more frequency table
Use readl_relaxed and writel_relaxed
Add interactive, smartassv2, lagfree governor
Implementation of 2-Phase OnDemand
P930 Gingerbread Kernel V1 (Work on Nitro HD and Bell Optimus LTE)
SU640 Gingerbread Kernel V1
LU6200 Gingerbread Kernel V1
P930 CM9 Kernel V4

Your original nitro rom is maybe not rooted...
And no kernel does not change one thing about root.

init.d support
Any chance of adding init.d support? I have a set of sick tweaks that really promotes battery life and performance.
However, I can only install part of it (manually).

init.d support is already in my rom, this is why i don't see important to make it native in the first version.
In next release it will be native.
Thank you very much

Which ROM? I installed Kernelpan1c Nitro HD ROM and my wife is liking it very much (it's her phone). But she wants me to hook it up with my init.d scripts as she knows how much battery life and performance is improved. However, when I tried to add the init.d forlder manually, the phone soft bricked. I guess I should post this in the ROMs thread, but I am using this kernel, and as far as I knew, in order for init.d scripts to work, your kernel has to be compatable.
I love this kernel but I love to use cm9.
I know the developer here wants to wait cm9 to rc stage in order to make the kernel for cm9, I would like to ask if you can change your mind cos cm9 original kernel is so lagging. Pls help!

right now i have the stock rom installed (touchwiz) so i did not change the rom or something, but i installed an oc that overclocks the processor to 1.8GHZ, if i flash the revolution rom, is that ok? can i do that with the overclock applied? i don't want to destroy this device i just got it a couple of days ago and i want to have the revolution rom with 1.8ghz oc, so i installed the oc fist now i need to flash.
Please help!!
Can i just flash the ROM or do i need to do something about the kernel before

If im not mistaken, you need to have rooted before you can use those overclock apps.
If your devices still remain stock kernel and stock rom. Please go to stickies or dr.ketan thread and follow the guide root the devices and install cwm. Then you can flash anything you want.

My device is rooted and I am using a custom kernel. I want to flash the revolution ROM. And also have the custom kernel installed. Do I have to return the kernel to stock to flash? Or can I just flash the ROM
Update: I have successfully flashed revolution ROM on my note. I now want to use a custom oc kernel clocking the processor at 1.8GHz. Is there any risk in that? Before I installed the ROM is was just fine, but i don't know if it's compatible with the revolution ROM.

Since you have fully devices at the moment. You can download persues or notecore kernel to achieved 1.8ghz speed.

Im not very sure about the risk of overclock proccesor at higher speed. Since im never use this at all because of our note have sufficient speed and responsive to handle all kind of task.

OK I over clocked it and for some reason the performance is terrible. I did a factory reset and flashed the ROM again and every thing sense to be working fine. But one thing top be noted is that after the over clock i did the phone performance was terrible but benchmark scores were remarkable. I secord 7900 on quadrant which is pretty sick. So i guess I'll Hyatt stick with the revolution ROM with no over clock.
Peak speeds are just one factor, usually not very useful apart from benchmarks. Latency and responsiveness (ie. How the CPU ramps up a reacts to loads) is far more important in perceived smoothness.

Will update post later when I have more time available...
This is based on T-mobile Lollipop 20B Source Code
Please flash at your own risk, I have been testing on my phone for a while now, also with the help of @bofiana, and everything seems to be running smoothly for the most part so it seemed like time to release the kernel for the public....
Source: Will post later when I clean up my Github a little more I promise
Wouldn't have been possible without these guys...

I am aware not everything on this kernel may run smoothly...But for the most part everything seems to be running fine...
Current Known Bugs:
V1.0 - 6/19/2015
GPU Governor CPUBW HWMON seems to reboot device on selection, left on the kernel for now will deal with it later...
GPU max freq doesn't to to stick after latest underclocking code adjustments...
Kernel Features:
V1.0 - 6/19/2015
T-Mobile 20e source code merge
UBERTC 4.9 Toolchain
-03 Optimizations
KCAL -Savoca
GPU Underclock
CPU Governors (Lionheart, ZZMOOVE, SmartavssV2, as well as others)
IO Schedulers (ZEN, VR, TRIPNDROID, FIFO as well as others)
Intellithermal - Faux
Intelliplug - Faux
TCP Congestion Algorithms (Westwood, Reno, as well as others)
Boot up time patch
Simple OnDemand GPU Governor- Faux
Undervolting
Power efficient workqueues

V2.2 BETA
*Previous 2.0 BETA version had some obvious issues with Maximum CPU freq scaling that I addressed and is now properly working *
This version for now is going to be released as a beta because I promised a new version but I still haven't quite gotten it to the point I wanted.
In the process of integrating STweaks and Synapse. Expect bugs.
Rewrote all the hot plug code and updated it
Changed from original intelli thermal to Dorimanx's version.
Removed cpu boost and added Alucard's version.
Added all cpu govs from dorimanx's kernel.
Added generic sound controls.
Removed ZZMOOVE and TCP congestion additions for now. Will add back in the future.
Will update more thoroughly later as I am at work currently.

Congrats on the great work. Thanks for the shout out and happy that i could help u test all this time. Thanks again for all ur work and happy ur sharing it with everyone now. I've had nothing but great performance and stability with this kernel so far.
BTW......i ran this kernel on the latest T-Mo 20E build and currently running it on Cloudy 2.3 which is based off of 20P source and running great with no issues. I use FauxClock to tweak kernel. Running smartassv2, tripndroid I/O, intellithermal and imtellidemand and get great performance and phone deep sleeps like a baby. I tried Lionheart governor at first but wasn't getting good deep sleep so someone might want to test that one out and sew how it is for them. [emoji106]

I get LG Security Error when I flash on latest Cloudy rom.
EDIT: I fixed it by installing the 20E bootstack.

So With what I'm currently running (Cloudy G3 2.3) I should be able to flash your kernel by itself without having to flash anything with it?
Does this come with color control? Lol i have no idea where this app came from

I'm not sure if people r even having trouble, i think they're just scared ro flash on latest Cloudy Rom which is based off of 20p. I'm running ur kernel on Cloudy with no problem but i also flashed the 20e bootstack too.
People, if u flash kernel and ur on Cloudy and it boots fine then great! If not, then just flash 20e boostack and u should be good to go. Only real way to know is to try it. It's not really gonna hurt anything by flashing. And as always, perform a nandroid first just in case.
