Hello i am having a gps problem with LG optimus g pro, where it keeps searching for gps, and is unable to get a lock, even in open air.
I have tried many apps such as gps status and toolbox, and in locations, all options are checked.
My next question is am i able to update my phone to the latest version of android?
My android ver is 4.1.2
kernal: 3.4.0
build number:JZO54k
software ver:E98810a

Hi everyone.
I have a Defy from Tigo Colombia, it cames with 3.4.2.107-9 latam with blur. In this room everything is working.
The problem comes when i install or change to other rom, o custom rom, because i need to change the baseband to get data and voice working...
However if i switch the baseband (China ME725 850/1900/2100, The only one that works with my Defy :S in any other custom rom) i got data & voice working nice, but i lost GPS :S, i mean it's not working with any app, like GPSTest, GPS Status and Tools, etc.
I concluded this because i tested the GPS before switching the baseband, and it worked very nice and fast.
Do anyone knows a baseband that could work with my carrier? or
How can i extract from my nandroid backup my original baseband?
Thanks.
Hi all.
I've recently purchased an LG Optimus G (F180K) through an online reseller. The phone was unlocked and works on my local carrier. Please excuse me if the following problems have already been answered in other forums but this is my first smartphone (moving from a Nokia XPressMusic 5530) and I'm having difficulty understanding all this talk about flashing and basebands and what not.
I want to know how to update it to Jelly Bean since Android 4.1.2 has already been released for the F180K in South Korea. Software Update reports that I'm using the latest update available. I see that there are stock 4.1.2 ROMs available for the F180K in the forums. Would installing that be different from updating through official channels? Also, my lockscreen shows the dual roaming clock and I am unable to change it as the settings are greyed out when I check under Global Roaming. Does anyone know how to change this? I've searched around and someone suggested to manually edit settings.apk or something similar to that but I don't know how to go about it. Lastly, I want to get rid of the pre-installed Olleh apps and remove the Korean characters from the dialler. It would also be nice to get English versions of QVoice and the other LG apps.
I would really appreciate it if someone could walk me through these things. Thank you very much in advance.

Bhai jaan Main bhi Pakistan se hi hun ... you need to root your phone and install a custom recovery CWM is my suggestions although TWRP works fine.... you can install Sling 2.2 here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2786769 it will take 3 hour if you have one MB ptcl connection if faster connection it will download early and it totally supports Urdu and have many neat features I HOPE IT HELPS
I am also from Pakistan.. 1st make sure that u actually have a E975 model...
Check at the back side of phone underneath the battery, 2nd take a backup of our efs..
A free tool FreeGee from play store can take backup and install cwm recovery... U need to be rooted though already... Sling 2.2.2 is better...

Hello!
I've a LG G3 D855 International Unlocked, that I bought from B&H in USA, last summer. I've checked and installed latest update from the "Software Update Center" but my Android version is still 5.0 while soft. version is V21a-SEA-XX
[more info:kernel: 3.4.0 The phone is not rooted. I don't live in states now.]
Is there any problem with my phone? Shouldn't I receive an update for the android version by now?
Best Regards,
Simon
