I have a SGH-I747 AT&T version, I unlocked it using the built in menus. I upgraded rom on there from the stock to HyperDrive, I am on Tmobile network.
After upgrading, I noticed the MEID was all 0's so I followed a guide on how to restore it using NV-items_reader_writer.exe by generating using another tool and then writing the information from a text file to phone. After that, the MEID got repopulated but I am still having no network.
My phone was working perfectly fine till putting this rom in, I did backups with ROM Manager but then flashed TWRP recovery and can't access the nandroid backups from ROM Manager.
What can I do next to get my calls/texting working again?
Go back to cwm recovery...
Yep, I reverted to CWM and that led to other weird issues but atleast my network started working. What I did next was flash a stock rom using Odin and then flashing CM10.1 on there. Now everything is back to working!
So here's my problem. I installed a deodexed singapore based rom and tried to install the mod for the note 3 features. I got stuck on the loading screen. So i decided to reflash my Original Stock rom from the Philippines. In reflashing the stock rom i used odin. All went well except for the fact that my loading screen does not have my carrier logo and all bloatware installed are from the singaporean rom. Is there anyway to get it back to its original state?
Ur issue is not clear.. please elaborate..

So my rooted one X that i didnt have a custom rom on started to fail on me (screen stopped working) etc.. Nothing software related. I made a backup of my rom using TWRP and to verify that it worked i actually wiped the phone and reloaded that backup and everything was fine. So i went and got a new ONE x with my warranty. Rooted it, flashed a recovery ( I FORGOT TO BACKUP THE STOCK ROM OF MY REPLACEMENT!!! =((((((( ) I attempted to restore the phone to my old phones backup (boot/system and data).. Which failed badly.. I get past HTC screen and then just a black screen with a white bar flashing up top everyonce and a while. Ive tried to flash custom roms to atleast have a phone and nothing is work.... What can i do? =\ I'd also like to add that after i tried to install a custom rom the phone will auto boot into recovery, or atleast attempt to over and over again. Even after reflashing boot.img
Give the outcome of :
Fastboot getvar all
And delete the serial number and imei !

Hello guys I just wanna inform you that there is something happening with the CM 11 4.4+ based ROMS
they deleted my Baseband and IMEI
I restored through KIES and got my Baseband and IMEI back but this thing keeps happening and I cannot figure out why?
It's painful procedure because I did this more then 10 times
First I had to Reflash everything through KIES which makes my phone as DEFAULT
then I had to ROOT and install the ROOTED Original 4.3 then I had to install Clockwork Mod with MOBILE ODIN in order for me to install different ROMS
after that I do FULL WIPE ALWAYS
Cache / Dalvik / Data / System even Internal Storage
I installed CM11 whatever ROM u choose:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2453586 (tried this one no success)
Tried this one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2565259 again the same thing Bad baseband
Also this one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2493905 OMNI Rom (first installed older version everything was fine but when It updated to the latest OMNI I got the same Unknown Baseband and no DATA whatsoever)
so what the heck is going on? Please help me?
recovery might be the issue
I just had this problem yesterday. You wouldn't happen to be using TWRP recovery would you? I found that if I was using TWRP and Kit Kat AOKP I would have no service and my APN list would be empty. If I used Philz Custom recovery or CWM it would work fine.
I tried going downloading the newest 2.6.3.1 version of TWRP and it made my phone unable to boot. I had to flash another recovery via Odin in order to get back into my phone.
Just a thought.
I've had this issue as well and for some reason the latest nightlies don't play nice with my phone and recovery I'm using the latest official twrp for t0lte. Not t0ltetmo. I recently tried fishing the last multi window and I lost my microphone use. I have since reverted to a homemade build from January.. It seems to be the only thing that works.

Guys I used both CWM and TWRP both the latest versions... and this thing happen during both tries... I don't think it's the Recovery!
I was using the E988 kikat on my AT&T E980 when I saw that I had a notification from LG to update my phone. I tried the update but got a message saying that my phone wasn't registered. I thought that maybe I needed to be on stock 4.1.2 to take the update, but when I tried using the flash tool, I got an error. I've flashed back to stock many times before, but this time it didn't work. And when I tried to restore back to E988, I got stuck in a boot loop.
So after wiping the heck out of my phone, I can return to stock 4.1.2, but I don't have a signal. My baseband says APQ8064/MDMx15M, which I believe is the one from the E988. Now my problem is that I can't flash a new ROM without getting a bootloop, or it just returns to CWM, or I've got an md5 mismatch. I'm able to flash Slim 4.3 (but not 4.4), but I still have the baseband issue with no signal.
I've tried both CWM & TWRP to flash and/or restore a backup, but nothing works. It's like the E988 baseband is burned into my phone. I've tried flashing the AT&T baseband numerous times, but it doesn't do any good. My phone's been down for 2 days and I need to turn to you guys for help.
Anyone know how to fix this?

As I've mentioned before here, and again recently, the basebands don't actually flash via CWM/TWRP and your case just further illustrates this.
I suspect that your only viable option is going to be a full wipe and flash via TOT file back to stock.
No it does flashes, but the thing is that the value that is written in the build prop never gets changed, so although the baseband is changed but you can't find out whether it has or not

Unfortunately I've already gone back to stock several times, but I still can't get a signal. I've tried changing the APN as well, but the settngs won't stick. This phone has proven to be quite frustrating.

Pull them by ADB, then compare them before and after. They don't change.
