[Q] Stuck at Micromax logo - Micromax Canvas A1

When I've tried to do a factory reset phone turned off and now I can't boot in to the phone. It is stuck at Micromax logo. I've wiped using TWRP but it didn't work. What should I do?

Maybe you did formated system partition mistakenly?! If you have any backup then flash it or try factory reset again.

[Q] error mounting /data & /sdcard

I'm stuck on logo boot screen. I believe the problem is because I formatted the root partition of phone.
I can get into to download mode and install stock firmware. I can also install recovery like TWRP, OUDHS or CWM
I can't do factory reset b/c phone can't mount /data. It can't format /sdcard either
Any ideas? I'm thinking I need the pit file to restore the partition table but having trouble locating one
This happened before with my Galaxy Player and I was able to restore with stock firmware & pit

I figured it out. Instead of factory reset with TWRP or CWM I tried with stock Samsung recovery
I Odin stock recovery. Sorry I forgot where I download it from but it was in one of these threads
(1) Put in download mode. Then Odin stock firmware (everything unchecked)
(2) Unplug USB cable & pull battery. Boot into recovery (vol up + power). It took a few tries to do this
(3) Factory reset & wipe data
(4) Reboot
Hope this helps anyone else with same problem

Bricked SGN2

Bricked my SGN2 probably wiped the the efs and now its corupted it says in recovery failed to mount /efs (invalid argument)
I was on emotion note 2 rom v4.5 then i flashed droid turk v3 and then assasin rom v7 till then it was fine and then i decided to go back to emotion rom v4.5 the problem starts from here as soon as i booted my phone after installing emotion rom there was no gsm so i decided to revert back to assasin rom but problem still exists then i tried wiping data cache no change at all then i flashed stock rom 4.1.1 via odin and after that i am stuck on samsung boot screen loop tried installing cwm recovery and then wiping again nothing happens my phone is still stuck on boot loop.
My phone is in warranty but i can't claim it until the binary counter is reset as it is 4 now so is there any way to reset counter via odin or recovery.
I nearly tried everything but in vain i have efs backup but its in .tar.gz format so i can't flash it via odin nor can i restore via recovery.
Anyone with help will be appreciated please help me guys its been 2 days my phone's been in this mental trauma

try a different cable/usb input on the computer, if that doesn't work download again and make sure the checksum is correct if possible
if that doesn't work try flashing philz recovery from odin, untick the reboot option, then boot into recovery without booting normally
then wipe everything and start over
good luck

[Q] Canvas A1 never-ending Bootloop.

Hi guys. Recently my Canvas A1 (Android One) got stuck in bootloop. In order to fix it, I flashed it with the stock ROM provided after unlocking bootloader.
However, even after doing that, on reboot bootloop came back. It got stuck on the animation screen after the Micromax logo and restarted again, and this goes on and on.
So, I flashed it with Wormhole ROM after that. But still, it got stuck at splash screen.
I have tried all this along with wiping dalvik cache, system cache etc.
I have CWM installed on the phone.
I tried to flash it once more with stock ROM but it still got stuck as before. Please help! What should I do?
why you flashed it? you should have claim the warranty.

Remove battery, sims and mmc
Wait atleast 1-2 minutes
Put all back
Now go to recovery and wipe all
Install your stable rom zip
Reboot.
It seems that your phone is bricked. I think that you are under warranty and you should go to service centre. You can also flash a custom ROM

Hey,
Try this... Worked for my canvas a1...
1. Install Minimal ADB and fastboot (search google)..
2. Download universal sprout 4(or 8) stock rom from xda..
3. Use philz touch recovery and wipe cache in your mobile through recovery....
4. Now install your stock rom from .zip file..
5. That's it.... Reboot and your phone is back..!

Aashif

Turn off device completely, wait for 100 seconds and connect the turned off phone to the PC. Hold the Power and Volume Up button together. You will see a menu.
1) Select fastboot mode using volume buttons.
2)On your PC download adb and extract it anywhere and navigate there.
3)open command prompt in that directory and type fastboot devices.
4)you will see serial no. Of your phone if not try reconnecting phone and letting the drivers install.
5)Using Android one toolkit Flash TWRP.
6)Flash whatever new system you want and tadaa......

For The Note 4 Mini S6 V6 TWRP is necessary don't use Philz Touch
Have you tried to remove the battery and restart after the clean install?
I think you should start with a clean base by reflashing a Rom Stock by Odin look on sammobile.com
REroot
Reflash recovery TWRP
And reflash this V6
Perhaps THe V6 Works but I recomend V5 for the moment and waiting for the next version
I wonder..

K! by far, you also formatted and used Philz!
Now i suggest you flash Stock rom(hence stock recovery will also be added).
Then if bootloop occurs, remove battery, insert and go to stock recovery and clean cache partition and factory reset
switch on, then go to odin mode and flash philz and then Format/do clean wipe, flash Note4mini and then factory reset(format)/'do clean wipe' .
Clean steps,i hope they help!
Hit Thanks if i helped, and spread Cheers

Was your phone bootlooping before you reset?
How did it originally happen?
If you are stock with locked bootloader and it just shut down then started bootlooping, then it might be hardware problem.

Yeah everything is stock. What happened is that one time my battery died all the way and then the phone wouldn't charge or boot. Eventually was able to get it to boot once but then the same thing happened all over again. Now I can only get into fastboot and stock recovery. No boot at all, just hangs in the boot animation
