[Q] pure ics apps

hi to everyone...! i want to ask u if there is any way to install stock ics phone and contacts apk just like galaxy nexus
for now i am using apps tha i have took them from xperia s transformation pack
arc s 4.0.4 rooted
edit:i dont want to install custom rom..just these apps

for that you need to install CM9 ROM..it has the same OS as google nexus

i recently installed BlackBean Rom and its performance and speed is awesome
but, i don't like default ROM theme, so, is there anyway to have default original Jelly Bean theme on this ROM ?

i dont know.... DIY? Ask the rom developper? Search?

Not sure if possible... but did u try pulling system theme from something like aokp or cm10?

[Q] (little) problem with Jelly Sandwich 7.4

Hi everybody!
I just got the new Jelly sandwich installed on my Arc S , i was on the 5.0 version before.So far it runs quite smoothly , no issues so far except one : i cannot find the widget for the walkman whereas it is one of my favorites .....so i ask this for those who know the answer , where can i find that widget?

download this and install it and you'll have the widget

Just flash the music widget,or if you like, reflash your walkman mod ....

rom vs theme ??

Hey guys I have rooted Galaxy nexus . it is on 4.2.2.
I have read various information pack.
I want to mainly modify the looks of my gnex. Make it looking different . maybe like Samsung and xperia .
I want to aask will ROM serve the purpose or theme ?
what is main difference between theme and ROM ?
and can cyanogenmod 11 be installed on 4.2.2. ??

Hi, i hope i understand clearly - do you want install custom theme, right? So you have to install ROM with theme manager support, like CM or AOKP.
Difference between theme and ROM?? Sorry, but this is veeery noob question... Theme only modifies system look. ROM... is a ROM This is a whole system.
And yes, you can install CM 11 BUT:
- You have to install firstly newest CWM Recovery 6.0.4.3
- make full wipe and system wipe before install

a theme only replace the system ui and some apps ui and for using it you must have installed a rom that supports the theme engine, so a rom replace the entire system, it is something like a custom version of android!
[you can install the xposed framework and xthemeengine too, so you can apply a theme without changing rom]
and cyanogenmod 11 can be installed on the gnex, not on 4.2.2! it will replace your 4.2.2 with a custom and adapted [and very smooth and performant] android 4.4.2 kitkat!

Does Xperia Keyboard Work on custom ROM?

Sony recently post xperia keyboard for android 4.4+ on play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sonyericsson.textinput.uxp ,i want to know if this keyboard also work on custom ROM such as CM,PA,PAC,AOKP,etc..i currently on stock rom and would like to flash PA,but i would miss the keyboard,and want to know if it work for custom rom,reply will be appreciated

Xperia keyboard has been ported to all roms already, go to Android development > Android apps and games and search for it, download zip and flash via recovery.

i hv try ported version before on PAC rom but not stable and keep fc,and the emoji not shown
