BTW:
Just to clarify, this is a petition to ask Microsoft to continue to allow XDA-Developers to post ROM images (with WM progs). They want XDA to remove them.

this thread is directed mainly at the devs, please tell us how exactly you build custom roms so that we can try and lend a hand later maybe.
i want to make a tutorial on this later so if you guys could give us detailed explanations or even links and how tos.
hopefully you guys will support!
right now downloading android kitchen and dont know any coding or what i have to do with it but i hope with the defy devs support we all can learn something!

The request should be to Xiaomi to change the way to recover the phone from a failure and not to a single developer. If they listen think in the possibilities, a lot of talented people making rom for us.
