LG G2 and Moto 360

I am in the process of purchasing a moto 360. However I was reading a few reviews and they mentioned that the watch tends to behave differently with certain devices. For example, according to one review, the 360 works great on the Samsung s5 but not so well with g3. The user reported the watch constantly disconnecting on the g3. I have a g2, but i do not want to be struggling with stuff like this. Is anyone using the 360 with the lg g2? Can you share your thoughts, experiences and some feedback will be great.

I have the moto 360 and LG G2. Both work as expected.

I have the moto 360 and the LG G2 I must say though that the battery drains really fast on my G2. Im not going to keep it past xmas or whenever the moto x+1 comes out. The moto 360 does fine according to my standards on battery but my G2 is draining twice as fast as before even with my bluetooth headset streaming.

This is really good feedback. I am going to proceed and try to purchase one. I will try it out for a week since the return policy is 14 days. I will then decide if it's good enough to keep. I am dying to get my hands on a moto 360. Will try again this week. Ones again thanks for your feedback. If anybody else has anything else to share please don't hesitate. The more feedback the better.

Hello I want to buy this Tablet but I'm wondering if still a good deal to buying it now in 2014 or if any better option at this point? Thank you

Nexus 9

I believe you will have a hard time searching a tablet with those spec for that price. Maybe Acer iconia 8 could be a candidate? At least on paper it reads promising.
I and my family using gpad every day for hours and it is just still fun, for almost a year now the ratio between screen size and device size is fabulous. With the plenty custom 4.4.4 roms here you have a good choice, i personally hate the lg original software. But it has some nice features.
However there might not be a lollipop rom soon, at least lg themselves do not tell us something about update...
Still a good purchase i would say

I recently bought my 8.3 GPE from eBay for $200, if that's any help.
Non GPE are a bit cheaper.

It is indeed the best tablet out there is terms of price/quality!!! No other tablet can beat his one and I believe It will always have good developments here on XDA...
The battery is fair, the screen as great image quality and the build quality is fantastic...
I bought it for £154.00. That was a great deal...

Well I saw one for $169.99 refurbished and I think is a good deal... But I dont know if I wait untill black friday, or maybe is this the best option I got.
Also I saw the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700T, have some similar spec but is from 2.012, so what do you think? I go for the Lg G pad?

No the G Pad 8.3 is much better! Only problems are battery life (about 5-6 hours which is still relevant and low screen brightness), but screen quality, performance and build quality are just amazing! Get a GPE edition G Pad 8.3 if you want lollipop and updates! No other tablets can match the performance given at this price! But seriously take a look at the benchmark beast Nexus 9 and Tab S! Don't hesitate to spend a little more and always try to buy new devices which are more reliable than refurbished! Don't buy a cheap Android model, get problems and then switch to a much more expensive iPad! I know too many people who do that! Experience a top notch Android tablet and you'll not regret it! The exceptions to price are the G Pad 8.3 (don't know how LG made that so inexpensive with that excellent quality) and Nexus 7!

Just bought a second Gpad 8.3 about a month ago. Love this tablet. I prefer to V500 (not Google Play Edition) because it has all the custom rom development. The 4:3 screen ratio of the new Nexus 9 is what turned me off and I decided to get another Gpad 8.3.

Just think of all the pan and scan movies you can watch on the Nexus 9 that are "formatted to fit your screen". :laugh:

Don't buy the TF700T, it's cobbled by a slow storage chip.

HAH. Imagine all the letterboxed widescreen movies that will probably use less screen space than the Gpad with the black bars top and bottom. 4:3 seems like a huge step backward to me.

I regret missing out on the GPE for $205 shipped last month because the GPE will get Lollipop. The v500 most likely wont get it.

I'm waiting to get Lollipop on my old Nexus 7, then quick sell it on eBay or Craigslist.

Maybe. That's a good tablet. It's your call, really.

I owned a TF300TG. The TF700T has a slow eMMC, but the TF701T does not. I also wanted the TF701T, but then I started searching for a smaller one and the 8 inches seemed like a nice compromise. I just received my G Pad yesterday and I am very satisfied (comparing it to the TF300TG). The Samsung 8.4 inches tablets are more expensive, although the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 does have more RAM (there is a version with 3 GB of RAM) and 2k screen resolution. I can tell you that is is worth buying the G Pad with its only fullHD resolution, you won't see any difference between the fullHD and the 2k resolution. The TF701T is good if you find it at a good price, but the 10 inches really seem too much (at least for me, the TF300TG had 10 inches). Mine was 170 GBP (around 271 USD), new from Amazon.co.uk. Buy a used one only if the price is around 130-140 and it looks really good. If not, just wait for Black Friday.

I actually did buy it again! But this it was for my brother. The phone is awesome, there's not much to dislike it's fast in every aspect software, fingerprint, charging, and so on. It's been a while since I've been this impressed by a phone. The build & feel quality is amazing.

I sold my S7 Duos for this and have no regrets whatsoever. I can't wait until the dash charging sources are released to hop on some of the ROMS here.

I would probably buy it again. However, I've used the OP3 for a while now but for me its hard to operate the phone with one hand like i used to do with the P7. Also its hard for me to get used to the OS. Although many people hate the EMUI/MIUI interface, i love it. So i really hope MIUI will be available soon. But when looking at the specs and the price i think this is the best deal at the moment. Also i am really happy with the build quality.

Looking to upgrade my Moto 360 1gen.. Suggestions?

I have had a Moto 360 since it fist came out and I love the idea but I would really like a android wear 2.O device or maybe Samsung OS for there smartwatches but I can't make up my mind any suggestions? Hawaiwi is kinda on my list not but I've been trying to research everything out there not just the Android ones even tho I am a android fan boy. What do you guys think of some of the other options like Samsung OS or pedal and the few others they have compared to Android wear. Well hope to hear from some of you and to me a micro or C usb would be plus to me I'm a root junkie but not a deal breaker it is a watch. Thanks hope this was a good spot for the post

i had and still have my moto 360 but now have the samsung gear s3 and that is way better than the 360 apart from the lack of good apps , but that should get better hopefully , battery life is good and get just over 3 days with moderate use , so the s3 is worth looking into as well.

Same here. The moto 360 convinced me that smartwatches are awesome. I love the new gear s3, demo I saw was awesome. But no Verizon support kills it for me. Well, that and the limited apps. However, the Samsung pay feature on a watch is so cool and 10x better than android pay will ever be which pretty much makes up for lack of apps.
If Verizon ever gets the gear s3, I'm gonna be a day 1 customer. What really sucks in the smartwatch market is that if google and Samsung worked together, the app support would be so much better and smartwatches would have been mainstream by last year.

As of right now, I'd suggest the Huawei watch. Though, if I were you, I'd wait. A whole bunch of new Android wear watches are probably about to be released. Android wear 2.0 is about to come out with a whole bunch of new features, and a bunch of new watches should follow to support these new features.

I am using the Moto 360 2nd gen with my oneplus 3t... Everything working fine! no problems

I have the zenwatch2 and love it.but I also echo the above comments. I would wait it out a month or two and see what's new coming.

I'm quite happy with my Sony Smartwatch 3:
- cheap (you can easily find it for ~100€ on Amazon
- I can easily get a full solid day off the battery

i'm using a samsung gear s3 frontier along with my OP3T. notification works well. i can answer calls but I cannot text on the watch (not that I want to). spotify controller works well, and I can read flipboard articles on the watch to pass time.

Huawei watch is pretty good, tho mic and voice commands seems to be worse than on the other watches. Maybe because mic is located underside of the watch, where the band connects. I have been using Android wear 2.0 beta for some time already, and really liking it, much smoother than old version. But Google is propably gonna announce new watches soon, Android wear 2.0 stable is coming in next month. If you find a really good deal for Huawei watch or others, then maybe buy now, but otherwise I would wait and see the new ones which are coming.

I've been using a Sony Smartwatch 3 ever since it was launched and wouldn't change it for anything else. I tried a Huawei Watch for a couple of days and it wasn't as comfortable. Furthermore, I use it as a GPS running watch and it pairs with any BT Smart HRM without any issue. Nice to go for a long run without a phone when you have GPS, MP3-player and HRM on your wrist.

I would recommend the Samsung Gear S3 ,or even the Gear S2 ,the software is superior to Android wear in my opinion .

I'm planning on getting a gear s3 frontier with my 3T. How is the compability? Any significant limitations compared to pairing it with a Samsung phone?

Anyone miss a call notification once and a while?
Ill notice Ill get a missed call on my watch and it never vibrated

Using Gear S3 Frontier and the only thing i might miss is google assistant unless sammy updates the gear s3 with their own rumoured assistant Bixby.
The rotating bezel, the battery life, and the simple OS are major wins.
and with samsung pay about to launch in India its a major win because of MST.
