navigation bar tweak? - G Pad 8.3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

has anybody been able to find a method of tweaking the navigation bar on a stock rom? i am using the verizon vk810, and just now someone wonderful has started working on cm11 again, but i need the 4g for work, so i will have to wait for that option.
i do have root, and can use xposed but havent found a mod that works.
i would like to swap a couple positions, swap the menu for a recent apps button and then put the back button on the right as i have become accustomed to. its merely preference, but i thought i would ask.

Very sorry for the late reply. I think in January I was extremely busy. I use Ultimate Dynamic Navbar. I paid for the Pro version and totally worth it. I'll get on my tablet and post a screenshot in a minute.

[Request] Full date on statusbar

Hello everyone.
I'm looking for a flashable mod that display the full date on the statusbar, next to the clock.
Some ROMs allow you to display the day of the week (FRI, SAT), but I'm looking for the full date or at the very least the day of the month.
Kindly take a look at this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1491887
Here the author explains how to do it yourself, but frankly that's way above my abilities. Besides, it seems to work only for AOKP roms, and I'm using one that's AOSP-based.
If any of you feel you have some free time and can help me, ideally by making a flashable mod that does the above, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Best regards.
You could always use uccw and make it yourself you just need to have a launcher that hides your status bar....that what I did

I couldn't part with my status bar and sometimes I need to know what time and date it is while inside an app, that's why putting it next to my clock would be perfect.
You still will see it there when your in a app
Here's mines

You mean like this?
Flash a jelly bean rom

To see that you have to press (and not slide) on your notification drawer. I need something that can bee seen without intervention on my part, for lack of a better term.
Might have to wait for a rom

OTA 4.3 Questions

Basic root knowledge here. Basically know enough to follow guides and not much more.
I updated to 4.3 through the OTA a few days ago when I got my cell phone turned on (slits wrists).
Was able to remove knox, root and super user it up thereafter using a guide here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2538991
Following this success, I'd like to flash a custom rom. I'd prefer CyanogenMod because it's what I love, but if that's not compatible anymore, is there a custom rom I can use that anyone knows of since I actually updated legitly via OTA?
If not, worst case scenario, I'll stick with the rooted stock, but I must know how to remove this darn thing highlighted in red in the image below.

Thanks XDA community. I have been out of the loop while my phone has been shut off due to unemployment and it seems like there's too much that's happened since I was paying attention to make sense of anything now.
From that homescreen hit the options softkey to the left of the home key and hit edit. Then you can delete the unused homescreens hence making the dots go away

Unfortunately, even when all homescreens are removed but the first, there is still a lonely dot taking up that row of screen. I want it gone!

Any way to remove the "LTE" from the data icon?

So I have to admit - the spinning spark icon has grown on me. So much so, it's all I want to see in my status bar when on 4G.
Well, not so much because I love the icon, but because it takes up SO much damn room on the bar with both the spark and the letters "LTE" (see screenshot)

Has anyone removed the letters? If so, how? I was looking for an xposed module to do this - but haven't had any luck finding one. Right now I'm just running stock rooted with G2 Xposed.
Thanks!

I'm bumping this old post of mine, in hopes that someone has found a solution to this in the meantime. I search every so often but I have not yet found a solution.
Have you tried any Xposed modules like GravityBox? No market apps have it like G2tweaks or G2 Xposed, but surely Xposed is the only route outside of a pre-themed ROM.

Agree it's gotta be through xposed. Wasn't in g2 xposed or gw tweaks,as you mention. I'll check out gravity box. Appreciate the reply!
Actually check this out if you haven't

Thanks! And stupid me, I missed the setting in g2 tweaksbox that replaces carrier icons with aosp. Just used that and while it doesn't leave the spinning spark (which I've gotten used to), it reduces the clutter on the status bar, which is ultimately what I wanted.

Flashlight toggle .png [TW] [MK3] [ND8]

Its not a big deal but I made a new flashlight toggle using pngs from my old Evo Shift. I've made it flashable if anyone wants it.

Oh, sweet! Always being a stock ROM user on my GS3, this is a quick toggle I've always wanted to have. I use the 'flashlight' functionality of my device often
You can try THIS. Make a back up first.

One click data/wifi/Bluetooth toggle from status bar

Does anyone know how to enable this feature if at all possible on OOS 4.0.?
EDIT: Not so much enable since Im sure its probably a tweak in custom roms. But it this possible? Build prop edit maybe?
Actually, it's enabled by default. I figured it out just my playing around, but what you have to do is only pull it down partially, and then you'll have quick toggle. This is what it looks like:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now of course there is a problem with this because it doesn't show all of your icons and so maybe you have one that doesn't appear here. But this is all I have found so far.

Yeah, sorry...you're right. I'm on stock - it works as a quick toggle for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and auto-rotate, but not mobile data...apparently. I have unlimited so that isn't something I normally bother with.

I turn on and off just due to battery consumption. Oh well, guess I'll have to deal with it of just go to a custom rom.
Thanks!
