Crystal PA 8.50
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g2-mini/development/crystalparanoidandroid-t2926719
I've looked into the change log but can't find out how to manage those quick pulldown icons. I'm missing something very obvious probably...
Well, for starters, crystal PA is not PA. It is its own entity. They are not associated with us at all. They use PA as a base and do whatever they want to it. We don't support other ROMs here.
Secondly, your device isn't supported by us at all.
You need to take your question to the rom thread. What you are using isn't paranoid android.

I'm on CyanogenMod 10.
I'm trying to theme around but I never really messed around with the status bar and the standard blue icons kind of annoy me, does anyone know how I can either change the color or just change the icons completely?

Download themes from market, search Google/xda for cm10 themes, have a look in Android themes section theres many options but you would prob get an answer if your question was asked in the questions and answers section mate

Is there a mod to add data transfer speed the taskbar on cm 10 roms? I had a cm based rom on my phone that had this and I loved it. I don't really want to rom surf on my N7 right now so I was wondering if there's a mod to add this functionality to a standard cm rom.

Not a mod but a simple app can do this easily: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.internet.speed.meter.lite
Thanks for the suggestions guys. I was hoping to find it in mod form, though, because I'd like to have the reading in the status bar, in matching color, right next to the wifi. Silly, I know, but I'm peculiar about layout and aesthetics

It still doesn't quite suite my fancy.
Status bar transparency is the latest Android craze. Many people want it but aren't sure where to get it. This guide is here to help you find ROM's that have the transparent status bar mod enabled out of the box.
(If I've missed any ROM's that include transparency please don't hessitate to let me know in this thread and I'll add it to the first post. I am trying to build a complete list. If I leave a ROM off it's just an oversite or I didn't realize the missing ROM had the feature)
Touch Wiz ROM's
All TouchWiz ROM's should have status bar transparency as the stock ROM includes is all all variants of TW ROMs are based on the stock ROMs. (I never use TW ROMs so I can't verify this. If it's wrong please let me know)
Should you find a TW ROM that doesn't include transparency options, akapaul26 has a mod for so you can try to add it yourself. Click here.
AOSP ROM's
All Android 4.2 based ROMs should theoretically be able to add status bar transparency by using the XPosed Framework and TweakBox mods found here. Make a nandroid backup first then give it a try. I've tried it on multiple devices with mixed results. When I did get it to work the status bar is ALWAYS transparent, not just on the home screen. So this might not be the ideal option for some, and it might be the greatest thing in the world for others. It all depends on your use.
This does not work on Android 4.3 ROMs just yet though as the XPosed framework isn't compatible yet.
The following AOSP based ROMs have status bar transparency preinstalled and ready to go. (I haven't tried every one of these. So If I say one has it and it doesn't let me know. )
- Paranoid Android
- Carbon ROM
- PACman ROM
- Liquid Smooth
- Slim Bean
- BeanStalk
- AOKP
- JellyBro??? (I'm not sure about this one. The developer was talking about it very briefly last month but I don't know if the transparency was every actually added. Can someone let me know?)
- CyanogenMod ROM's do NOT have transparency built in. However there are a bunch of CM kangs floating around. Some of them may have added transparency options but I'm not aware of any.
I have Xposed working on CM10.2. I haven't tried the Tweakbox module, though. I'll give it a shot and report back.
SystemUI kept force closing after applying transparency in Tweakbox on CM10.2.
Xposed modules are kind of hit or miss since 4.3 isn't fully supported yet. The Greenify (donate) module works flawlessly.
For any ROM, it's a very simple XML edit inside systemui.apk. heck you can even make it any color you want!

Yeah I know. But this guide was more aimed at people looking for transparent functionality out of the box.
Remember, even on xda with all the modders we have here, editing an apk is above the heads of most people. The vast majority of people here, even root users, are just flashing what is pre compiled. And there is nothing wrong with that! That's how we all started!
Sent from your phone. You should be careful where you leave that thing.
Just remember to enable it depending on the launcher. Nova, for example, needs to have it enabled in the settings before it takes affect regardless of the other settings. That said, 3minit roms make changing the transparency very, very simple.

This is all true information, but it applies to TouchWiz roms exclusively.
3minit is only on TW to my knowledge (please correct me if Im wrong)
And for AOSP roms that have transparency options built it it will force launchers like Apex and Nova to have transparency and you not only do not have to activate it in the launcher settings but you cannot activate it in the launcher settings. Those launchers only give the transparency options if they are installed on a TouchWiz rom. On aosp roms that option is deleted from the launcher settings.
The launchers search for the transparency options built into TouchWiz, which does it differently than aosp roms. So when the launcher doesn't find the TouchWiz transparency files it removes the transparency option from the settings menu.

try this (on PAC rom):
go to Settings, Hybrid Properties, then Interface.
Select the status bar color option, and type in 00000000 in the Actual value field (that's 8 zeros). After you type it in, hit the color box under 'New color'
Hit apply.
Do the same steps for the navigation bar color.
A reboot may be required.

Don't think that's possible. Only 4.4 KitKat is able to do that (SDK Level 19 if I'm not wrong)
Smack that Thanks button if I helped!

It's a bit of a cheat, but the "tinted status bar" xposed module will approximate the effect you're looking for: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2457265
Hey guys, so while i was browsing some themes, i noticed 2 themes that had stock navigation bar. I didnt like the themes and they were too heavily modified so i decided to make my own theme. The problem is that when i reached the navigation bar section, there was no stock navigation bar and no option to add my own. Any ideas on how they did it?
https://themes.htc.com/#/user/theme/com.htc.theme.t611abbf5-09fc-4839-8d0c-1dac0d308448
here is one such example
By stock do you mean AOSP or Sense? If AOSP try this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-m9/themes-apps/rounded-aosp-style-statusbar-icons-t3086556

yep aosp is what i was refering to, but i dont have root, and i can apply that theme without root, any other solutions?
Are you using the 'Maker Pro' section of the site? This where you have morr options.
I was wondering this too because the nav bars that are on Maker Pro are very unattractive. I have no idea how they got the AOSP nav bar in Maker Pro because its not their at all.

yep i used the maker pro, but i can only choose the htc ones
Has anyone figured out how to do this? I would love to know.
I've been trying to do this for quite a time now. All I got is that the themes you download are in the path
Android/data/com.htc.launcher/files/LocalThemes
the navbar icon is under the form of "NavigationKey.apk"
Hopefully someone will figure out a way to modify this. Dying to get the AOSP Navbar yet rooting my device is not an option due to warranty reasons.
