I like to use APP, because it is more convient for me. And there are many version software in google, free version and paid version. We can choose our favorite. For the free version, i think his function is not complete, so, i prefer like the paid version.

My phone Explorer APP. Works great for me.

Samsung Kie is the best option. The Kies application can be used for copying content from older devices and operating systems. The operating systems compatible with Kies include Android 4.3 or older, Mac OS X 10.5, Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10

Transfer SMS

Hi,
Anyone know how to transfer SMS from Windows Mobile 6.x to Android 2.1?
WM app and Android app which can export/import SMS to certain format that both can understand?
Thanks.
Would it be possible to transfer texts from a "dumb phone" to my Android, e.g. by saving the texts to my SIM-card?
This is what I found:
http://android.modaco.com/content-p...sfered-windows-mobile-sms-to-android/page/40/

Great find, thanks. I've just been through the entire process with sprite migrate and at no point did it prompt me to pay.
I was gonna ask this question about SE c905 sms to desire but then rememberd about myphoneexploer which can export sms from sony ericsson phones in various diff formats. should find 1 app that can import them onto desire. only issue with mpe is it dnt always save sent message times and dates so the chat like sms system on c905 wont transfer properly to desire as sent messages wud be in the wrong order.
I just did too It worked perfectly.
And I realize that this is still BETA version, that's why we dont need to pay.
The software will be expired on July 2010.

Windows + Android password manager app

Hi. Can anyone recommend a password manager which works with both Windows VISTA and with an app also on Android to read the same database.
I am looking for a portable Windows app, so no registry usage or dll's all over the place.
Thanks
Try SplashID.
That has all of the features that i am looking for except that it's trialware, is there anything opensource ? If not then i will prob purchase it.
I use LastPass (I guess this applies to what are you looking for).
Btw, premium version ($12 annually)
Keepass (keepass.info) works for me. It does everything you need (portable app, android app, cloud sync of keyfile)

[Q] Installing apps without Windows Live account/access to Marketplace

Hi,
As per title. Is there anyway to install apps without accessing and downloading them from the Marketplace? All I need is an PDF reader that I can install on multiple devices and was looking to see if there is a simpler solution.
Thanks for reading.

Installation of applications must be done through the Marketplace, and access to the Marketplace requires a Windows Live ID.
So at the moment, this is the only solution.

Ok, thanks prjkthack.
So I guess I just set up one generic Windows Live ID for the devices. Would there be any issues with this?

Yes, I've read that the first Live ID is also used with other Apps. The next ID can be used too but only for certain Apps.
EDIT:
Reading it back it's very cryptic You need to investigate this more..

Only the primary Windows Live ID is used for Marketplace downloads and purchases. So whichever Live ID you sync first, that will be the one where your downloads and purchases will be linked to.
Additional Live IDs only sync Email, Calendar, and Contacts. Primary is used for everything else (Xbox, Zune, Marketplace, etc.).

Candy Crush Saga for Windows 8 RT (Surface)

Hi,
Do have anyone news about coming apps for Windows 8 RT?
I'm happy with my Surface 2 but sometimes I'm thinking about the apps. So why they're need so much time to create any kind of app for Windows 8?
For example, "Candy Crush" is very popular on any system (iOS or Android) but why they need so long to think about it to implement this on Windows 8. I think Windows 8 is stable now and also ready for all these other apps.
What's your impression?
BR,
PatBadAzz
It's all about how many users you will get.
My impression is that the Facebook Flash version works just fine in IE on Windows 8/RT. The only reasons I can think of to have an app would be to play when no internet connection is available, or if you want to play it completely separate from Facebook. Then again, I'm kind of an app minimalist...

I don't want to spoil anything, however I'm trying to understand where the advantages of your application are, when compared against other similar solutions?
eg. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sand.airdroid
The only difference I can notice is the fact that you can share between two android devices, but hell for that we already do have bluetooth?
