[Q] Upgrading bootloader beyond I747UCUfNJ1 - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

I'm interested in putting cyanogenmod on my galaxy S3, and I've hit a snag with the boot loader version. It looks as if the ROM won't install because I'm using bootloader version I747UCUfNJ1. I've tried using CWM to install a couple of other bootloader versions, but they've all said they cannot upgrade from my current version.
My question is, does anyone have a list of bootloader version numbers? I've read a number of places that I can't go backwards, but I don't know which version I could use to go forwards.
Thanks!

I don't think there is a bootloader that is any newer than the one on your phone.
I would not keep trying to flash bootloaders because if you flash an incorrect bootloader or you try to downgrade the bootloader, this could hard brick your phone.

I747UCUfNJ1 is the latest version, so you can't go forward.

Unlock bootloader samsung galaxy s3 sph-l710 sprint android 4.3 L710VPUCMK3
Hi friends. I have a problem. On my phone running the latest stock version of Android, and I need to downgrade android. The problem is that the new loader does not allow downgrade android. The only option that I see - it is to unlock the boot loader. I ask your help in this. Help unlock the boot loader.
The bootloader is already unlocked. The problem is that different signatures were used within the mk3 bootloader, so downgrading changes the signatures and the system refuses to boot.

so many unlock threads... so is a 4.3/4.4.2 sim unlock possible?

I've done a ton of searching for methods to unlock the I747m Canadian variant of the S3 and always get confused because I'm a not too tech savvy newb. Does anyone who cares to read this know if there's a method of downgrading the s3 to 4.1 ? I remember an ambiguous thread on how you can use mobile Odin to downgrade everything but the boot loader but I have no idea how that works or where I even found that thread. Can anyone point me in the right direction, if there is one?
Once updated to 4 3 you cannot downgrade or unlock for free
In order to use the free unlock method on an i747 or i747m, you need to be running a completely stock Samsung 4.1.1 ROM, including the 4.1.1 bootloader, to ensure that the phone actually gets unlocked.
If you have the 4.3 or higher bootloader, you cannot downgrade the bootloader. Attempts to downgrade the 4.3 bootloader to an earlier will probably brick your phone. Since you cannot downgrade the 4.3 bootloader, you cannot use the free method to unlock your phone.
Yes, you can use mobile Odin to downgrade the i747 and i747m Samsung ROM to 4.1.1 from 4.3 but your phone will still have the 4.3 bootloader which cannot be downgraded.
To sum things up: if you have the 4.3 or newer bootloader, you will need to buy an unlock code.

Which one do i have?

Im trying to unlock bootloader and root but theres like 8 versions of this phone. Build number is LRX21V.WW-ASUS_Z00A-2.22.40.97
Model Number says ASUS-Z00AD and I have 16GB with 2GB ram. So is it the 551ml or 550ml? Also, knowing my information, whats the best or proper way to unlock bootloader, install twrp and root permanently? This is my daily so I cant afford to screw it up and theres no computer-based restore like Samsung or LG uses so I really cant mess it up.
I have a (ze551ml) 16gb storage/2gb ram ZOOAD. There is an Official Bootloader unlock but I did the unofficial method before Official bootloader came out. You have to flash TWRP via fastboot after unlocking the bootloader. To get root on stock rom, you simply flash SU via TWRP.
Can you point me to the method and way to install twrp please

Cyanogenmod on Verizon S3

I've been digging deep trying to find a way to get the latest Cyanogenmod rom on my phone. The only problem is i have a bootloader thats locked. Is there anyway to install it with safestrap? (As thats the only way to get past the locked bootloader) or anyway to unlock the bootloader, or downgrade to 4.0?

Unfortunately, for our device you have to unlock your bootloader everytime you update even with the DE version.. I could be wrong but I believe you'll have to unlock on Lp first and then go to mm, but it's probably worth a try to see if you can skip Lp.
I wrote a small guide here if you want to update to CQI2 bootloader (most recent).
