Within maybe the last week, I've noticed a stutter on my device. It's always followed by my WiFi or data arrows showing a data transfer.
It'll happen at anytime, turning the screen on, typing, browsing, etc.
I've had my device since the opening weekend. I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this? It's almost like a lag spike but it's only happened recently.

Last night I was syncing 3 videos with my phone to a cloud service I have (ubuntu one). It was almost at 50% uploading the first video and I plugged it into the charger and turned the screen off. Woke up and it was stuck at 50 % on the same video and then starting going fast again. So it seems as if there is an issue with wifi speeds and connection when the screen is off. I googled this and see that several users are experiencing the same issues but I dont see a resolution. Is there anyone in here that experienced this and is there a fix?
Check this.
Any idea why my replacement GNex reboots randomly, many times a day? It will be sitting in my pocket, screen off, and I will feel it vibrate. Look at the phone, it's at the Google logo rebooting. Also, if I'm outside on cell data, streaming music with the screen off, it will die in a few minutes.
I did some digging and someone said there is a location bug in 4.2.2, and it is causing certain GNexs to act like this. This morning I shut off all location services and disabled Google Now. My phone lasted the whole day without a single reset, and I was able to stream music.
Is anyone aware of a fix for this? It seems to be an issue on my phone in stock 4.2.2, stock+franco kernel, and CM 10.1.
Thanks!
I got my Galaxy Nexus set up with AOKP 4.3 MR2, but I'm having a few weird issues. For one, it seems like it's killing everything in the background, because when I go to Facebook after having it closed for even a few minutes, it takes much longer to load or goes to the first launch image. Going from anything to the homescreen is slow, because it looks like it's starting the launcher and all of my widgets from scratch again. There's almost nothing running, but it's almost completely full on ram. All of this is making it seem even slower and more irritating.
Another weird issue is connectivity dropping out randomly. My wireless router is a piece of junk and I'm replacing it soon, but it even happens at my school. The Wifi and data indicators will go gray (no connection to Google) and go blue again randomly, or sometimes not at all. I lose data a lot as well, and sometimes the network rx/tx arrows get stuck on the data bars when I'm on Wifi, making me worry about my measly 1gb cap. I spent like 8 hours setting up AOKP last night, and I'm kind of regretting it because it was working perfectly until right before I went to bed.
Thanks in advance!

For some reason, everytime I start a walking/running exercise, it keeps auto pausong, so I've been watching the apeed, for ex: im jogging at 6km/h it stays like that for almost half a min, then drops to zero even tho i dont stop, has anyone faced this issue before??
Anyone else having the random, but often enough, issue where you'll be casually scrolling in any app (Facebook, Instagram, Samsung Internet, and others) and suddenly the scrolling speed goes crazy fast and skips through a bunch of stuff so you have to then scroll way back up to see what you missed? I think it started happening with the update to Android 12.
