After flash CM11 my internal memory is 10.11 GB and not 32GB why?
Can i solve this issue? how?
Thanks.
I am here looking for the same thing. Actually, on other devices a factory reset via stock recovery can fix it. I have thought this might help here with the og g pro.
For me, my device is refusing to show under the com port section in Windows device manager. My idea on a fix is to flash stock, factory reset, re-root etc, and then flash a nandroid. Except for the com port issue....
Anyone have an easier way or a solution to the com port thing? (running Windows 7 in virtualbox on ubuntu).

I have recently acquired a Telus/Koodo GSM HTC One V and successfully installed Shpongle. I noticed there were problems when connecting the phone to my computer, it appears as two removable devices and a CD drive. I never did try connecting the phone to a computer in its stock condition, I assumed transferring files to the phone would not be an issue. Anyway, I decided to restore the backup I created of the stock ROM installation to see if there is a greater hardware issue with the phone. The result of the backup is a phone that hangs on the splash screen.
What I have done to the phone up to this point.
Unlock the bootloader
Root
Flash Recovery - TWRP v2.3.3.0
Backup Stock ROM with TWRP
Install custom ROM (shpongle_primou-20130521) and Kernel (boot-HELLBOY-20130514 )
Install GAPPS
Noticed problem with when trying to copy files to the phone.
Restore backup of stock ROM - failed
I can still get to the bootloader and the recovery.
If the connectivity issues can be resolved with a simple fix then I do not mind going back to the custom ROM. If there is no fix or it is too late to implement, I would very much like to get the phone back to the stock condition and test the connectivity issues. What are the appropriate next steps to remedy this situation?
You need a kernel change. Titanium kiss might work. There is also a stock kernel linked in one of these threads somewhere. Not sure, but I may have downloaded it
Thanks mrcorey for the insight on the kernel incompatibility.
I downloaded the RUU and found instructions to extract and flash the ROM and kernel to the phone. After upgrading it by running the RUU completely, I had a working phone again. Everything is back to stock as far as I can tell and USB connectivity is as it should be. Once connected to a PC and selecting the disk drive option on the stock HTC ROM both the internal memory and the microSD card are available in windows explorer. Why is the internal memory and card not accessible in windows when I had Sphongle installed on the phone? Is there a option that was not set right to get things to work properly?
Hey guys, I've got a really weird issue here. After performing a factory reset with Odin to get back to stock (latest update), I all of a sudden lost any SIM functionality and USB functionality while in Android. I cannot transfer files, I cannot use ADB, it only charges, and my SIM is undetectable rendering the phone just a wifi android device. It does this with TMobile official and the international ROM for the T889. I was attempting to install CM10.1, but apparently the recovery on the Root Sticky is too outdated and CM10 errors out on install, and ROM Manager is unable to download any ROMs or update CWM. Really, really kind of stuck here, and I don't even know what's causing this. I've factory reset about a million times now or tried backups/different ROMs. Oh also, apparently my internal SD card is gone now too.
Anyone ever had some kind of issue like this? Not being able to ADB at all when CWM and Odin work perfectly is driving me insaaaneee!
EDIT/TLDR:
Internal storage /storage/sdcard, usb connections inside android, and the SIM simply do not exist to the device, and CWM cannot format/mount sdcard. Oddly, apps can download and run w/o the extsdcard, but downloading things from chrome will crash it. Still no ideas of how to fix.
Greetings,
I've been playing around with my Galaxy W far too much. I probably got stuck at boot with 3 or 4 different roms.
Currently I'm on a semi working version (AFAIK the wifi isn't working) but I'm surprised it works at all, since I have a 3.* kernal for a 4.* android version...
I've been told about a tool that does a factory reset to your phone. It pretty much wipes everything in it and restores the software in it to the way it was the day it left the factory.
My question is, where can I find that piece of software? I've been told something about a Samsung program for developers or something that just requires your phone drivers in a Windows computer and it will restore through the usb your phone...
Can anyone please shed some light on this?
Thanks
Regards.

The program You are looking for is the Samsung Kies, but I would recommend you to use Odin instead. Download the latest 2.3.6 firmware for your region (Google Sammobile, you gonna need to register), and search for it. After it follow one of the several tutorials for flashing with Odin and you're gonna have a fresh working phone again.
After using odin, boot into stock recovery, wipe data/factory reset and you're good to start messing around again
Hello All,
I am having an issue with the "USB storage device" on my phone. No matter with ROM I use my computer does not recognize it as a storage device. I've tried plugging into other computers and I get the same result. I've tried unchecking the MTP, rebooting and checking it again. I've tried several different SD cards and nothing seems to be working.
Cyanogenmod 11 2010602 Nightly
Cyanogenmod 11 M6
LiquidSmooth
Not sure what's going on.
Thanks
Eric
I had similar experience with other Roms. The only way I was able to fix this was to do Factory Reset then Re-Flash your Rom. If you tried to restore any backups, the problem will reappear.
I know that's extreme, but unfortunately that's the way it is.
No I wasn't using any backups. I would SuperWipe_Wipe SD before installing the ROMs

Flash stock firmware, then reflash the rom, factory reset and see if that helps.
I dont know about cm/aosp, but on tw, it wasn't intended to use UMS, just MTP. There was an app you could add to enable UMS, I can't remember where exactly, just that it was here on xda. A quick search should find it though. Dont know if it'll work on non tw, been too long since I last looked at it.

Hi guys,
I rooted my OP5T a while ago and after playing around with a few ROMs I decided that i wanted to unroot it. I was using a guide to unroot it and whilst cleaning out the dalvik/cache etc, i accidently deleted all the other ROMs i had saved on the phone. As i have no ROMs, and as i performed a factory reset previously, i have no OS installed on the phone.
I have tried downloading and moving stock ROMs and other ROMs on to the phone, but now my PC is having issues recognising the phone. Some times, it it recognised but it will not let me move files on to the internal SD. Other times, the computer does not even recognise the internal SD.
Does anyone have any ideas what i should do? Im no genius when it comes to rooting, maybe theres something im doing wrong?
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,

Hi. I had the same problem. You should install the rom you want to use on a USB driver ( pen drive / USB stick ). Then plug it in to your phone. Then you need to go into recovery and select use otg storage and flash from the usb. I solved it like that: I flashed the official rom of oneplus and the stock recovery. And I had a problem with setting the device for (like) the first time ( like email and all this ) so you need to go into the stock recovery and delete everything like data cache and everything. Then reboot and it should work.
BTW if you have any problem just send me a message through xda app ( this app )
Hope I helped you?
