Dbrand skin on tempered glass - ONE Accessories

Has anyone tried to install a dbrand skin on the front of their phone while already having a tempered glass screen protector on? Just wondering if I'll need to remove mine prior to installing or not

I'd like to know the same

need put the dbrand skin first on the opo, before the tempered screen.
Dbrand skins works perfectly with tempered glass. But you need place dbran skin first

So you have tried this? My concern is that the seam from the skin would create a tiny air pocket

Ordered one and then they cancelled it!
Poor customer service, no option to wait, just sent to the back of the line.
In the end I ordered the Nillkin one, very happy with it, fits well and feels smooth and strong.

How does this have anything to do with what I'm asking. The tempered glass qualiyy discussion thread is elsewhere!

Has to be the tamperglass over the skin for better results.

[Q] Case and Screen Protector

Any one using Spigen slim armour and Nilkin glass screen protector? are they compatible? because of the bump in the front of the case i think the glass screen protector will be pushed from the two sides leading to breakage or something ?
The nilkin glass screen protector is very good quality and was a pleasure to use... But when I received my dot view cover, i realised that i need to remove it bcoz it was thick.... If u dont plan to use any flip case, go for it...
Thanks

HTC One M8 Accessories There are some threads in there that discuss many great options and combinations. Might want to check it out, even if you're already set on your combo...
I have the Spigen slim armor and the Spigen glass nano, yes there's a bump but it doesn't cover much if any of the screen on both sides

Matte anti-glare tempered glass screen protector

Okay so here's the deal, I was using the orzly tempered glass screen protector and I missed the feel of the matte screen protectors. I didn't want to just remove the orzly one because I spent $10 on it and its still in prefect condition. So I had an idea, LAYERED SCREEN PROTECTORS! I got 6 matte screen protectors on eBay for $3 so I didn't really care if I messed up.
now before anyone complains that its a stupid idea, I know that it could affect the touch responsiveness and so far, it didn't.
Worst case:
-remove both screen protectors
Second worst case:
-remove the matte screen protector from the tempered one.
Best case:
-everything works properly.
CAUTION:
-The only hard part about this is you have to layer them PERFECTLY or you'll have a an uneven finish.
-There will be a border where the matte screen protector hangs off the tempered one since its slightly bigger. Thus might cause the screen protector to lift off if you have a tight fit case.
I'll keep this thread updated on his it handles in the upcoming weeks.

I second you. I too really miss matte finish and anti glare feel with the tempered glass protectors. I had this idea in mind, but you executed. Cheers

Honestly it worked well but after a period of about a month, the edges of the matte one wouldn't stick anymore since its bigger than the Ozrly protector. I have heard that some tempered ones cover edge to edge but then I assume a tight tpu cases wouldn't fit correctly.
Anyway, I ended up taking it off and am currently using only the tempered glass. The main reason is when I took of the matte, I didn't realize how beautiful the screen was and how much crappier the matte made it look. So I decided to just get used to the tempered glass one which took a little time because my fingers usually drag on the screen. But I honestly did get used to it.

I was a big fan of the matte protectors but since putting the nillkin tempered on, I don't miss the feel of the matte protector.
I also now see how much nicer the screen looks. Matte was great for minimizing reflections but it definitely reduced the image.
Any pictures with both protectors on?

Sorry I don't plan on ever putting matte on again lol. But if I visit one of my friends I'll take a picture since they use matte.

I meant a picture of the matte protector installed on the tempered glass. I had and have always had matte protectors on until last week when i went to tempered. Not going back to matte, just curious.

It looked exactly the same as on the regular screen except that the top right and tip left corners hang off the ozrly and over time it won't stick anymore because dust eventually gets underneath it.

Thanks how does fingerprint work for you. I got this one coming tomorrow.
preinstalled screen protector that comes with the phone. usually brand marketing would blow up their specs, often times stating anti scratch etc. the one that comes default is the anti scratch one.
araree wallet case modified with the transparent hard case that comes with the phone. the only downside is a covered top. if you wanna swap out sd or sim card, you need to remove the case which is difficult. playing on gear ve 325, current model, is difficult too as you need to remove the case.

Does the Mate 20X Ship with 2 Screen Protectors Pre-installed?

When I 1st got my mate 20x I noticed it came with a flimsy plastic screen protector that you can peel off. But I also noticed another protector underneath. It looks glass. I want to remove it. Is this another screen protector also?

The first film is similar to what's on the back of the phone, it's merely a shipping protection film. The one underneath is a factory applied plastic screen saver. Most people chose to keep the factory applied one on until it scuffs up, some remove it as they prefer the feel of glass.

Mine fits samsung silicone just fine. Just line it up with your camera cut out. I'd imagine it would fit
I ordered the whitestone dome TG to use with the ringke slim and it looks like its either going to be a very tight fit or it wont fit. I dont want to attempt to fit it as il be returning it to amazon
Anyone find a good glass screen protector for the front?
The whitestone ones are not that great. Im going to try with a Hydrogel version
I have been using hydrogel and it's great. I even scratched the screen protector with a tool at work. I thought I had to replace it but a day later it's as good as new. I am very surprised at the self healing.

I am using the Spigen Glas with the Spigen Slim Fit P case and it is sized to fit nicely inside the front raised edges. I really like it for use with Spigen cases. Not sure how it will look with other cases with thinner edged front protectors.
My front and main screen protectors started developing small scratches. I'm too OCD to let that slide so I removed both of them. Much happier now, lol.

Anyone going with no screen protector on the front? I had 2 of the ones in the first post in this thread but messed them both when I tried to install them. Was thinking about just going without one and was wondering if anyone else was as well?

So I'm guessing the Victus Gorilla Glass on this phone is holding up well for you as far as scratches go?
