trusted budget power bank under $30?

can you guys recommend some good trusted brands for power banks? my budget is under $30.. it's for my htc desires (http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_desire_s-3776.php)
i wanted to buy some cheap chinese unbranded power bank from ebay but i saw that article : http://voyager8.blogspot.com/2013/03/beware-of-dishonest-cheap-power-bank.html and i am afraid of damaging my battery; so i am opting for a trusted branded but budget power bank under $30... saw that one : http://www.ebay.com/itm/Anker-Power..._Cell_Phone_PDA_Batteries&hash=item3369c3d54d .. don't know how good is anker?

i can confirm. anker astro is really nice. if you need more capacity go for the pro version

combined external battery plus wireless charger

I got my nexus 5 (32gb white) last week and love it. I am searching for an exteranlnrechargable battery and found Anker Astro Series to be very nice. I am also in search of a wireless charger and some products could be found in different threads. I do not know if it is possible to combine the two functions into one. Please tell me if you have any ideas and suggestions. Thank you.

Don't own one myself, so i did just that just now.

Don't buy this one I just sent it back it isn't good as a overnight charger causes the phone to get very hot and reboot then starts to drain your battery down.

Thanks. It looks very nice. $55 is not very expensive. I assumed that it is compatible with Nexus 5 since it listed Nexus 4 in its specification. Any experiences with this charger?

I've been looking at getting one of these to use overnight and then take it with me for trips for the n5 and n7. Anyone else have experience with these types of chargers? If I plug it into a wall will it charge my n5 and the brick or will it charge the brick first then the phone or visa versa?

Lugulake Qi Charger/Power Bank. Combines both functions into one and can even charge another phone via USB while your phone is charging on the Qi pad. Heard it was really good.

I was seriously considering the Anker Astro E5 15000mAh External Battery until I wanted a wireless charger. Thanks for your comments.

It looks like it can charge phone both wire and wireless. So just give me one more option when I am not in a rush since I am little bit worried about the slim micro-usb of the phone.

What was the choice?

I hope to buy a power bank for my new Nexus 5.
I have made many search and I found that all power bank provide more that 1.2 A as output.
I noticed that the Nexus 5 official charger provide 1.2 A as output. So if I will buy a power bank that provides 2A or 3A, this will make problems for the phone battery ??
It is real that the important amperage charge the phone very fast, but this will not make problems for the battery ??

I've had a lot of success with Xiaomi powerbanks from Gearbest..com, the ones on eBay are often fake so beware. They have 5000mah, 10000mah and 16000mah capacity options if I'm not mistaken and the 10000mah usually costs around $15.

Problem Solved. I've had the Jackery 6000mAh charger in my bag for two years without a problem. Charges ipads and devices rapidly and is perfect if you are not wanting to be that guy sitting on the floor next to the outlet . So this new one: See the cords that have micro usb and lightning (iOS) connectors.. Well that solves the issue of carrying a battery and an cord? Leave that cord at home, you don't need it. How cool is it to be on the plane, and just pull this out without having to negotiate that 6 foot white cord? Its pretty slick and worth the purchase. Very reliable and two years later (on my last model) no drop off in performance.

Sure, there a other label, but a Powerbank with such volume and rather low price wouldn't come in my home.
Amazon reviews, btw, are not that reliable, aside from this.

I rarely ever use power banks, but as far as I am concerned, brand doesn't matter at all.
I had a cheepo power bank with no name a while back and it was the best power bank I ever had.

This is the one I bought, it charged my One Plus 7 Pro and used 2% of it's capacity, it's obviously not a fast charger but it's for when I'm not at home or in the car.

I use RavPower 26k mAH PD power bank. Got it from Amazon and had it for over a year now, it's been great.

I just purchased this power bank from Amazon. It claims to have Dash charging speed. Although it's not as fast as warp charge it should be the fastest power bank out there for the Oneplus 7 pro. I should get it tomorrow.

I found that power bank cant support Oneplus 7 pro.

Thanks just bought it! I looked into it, it does not support warp charging but it supports Dash Charge 5V/4A which is still nice. The power bank itself also supports Dash Charge 5V/4A which is the main reason I bought it. All the other power banks I owned took forever to charge, this should be a major upgrade.

Sorry for the late reply but i returned it. It did not consistently rapid charge. It seemed to only stay on rapid charge when it was at 90% or more sometimes. Otherwise it would only rapid charge for a few seconds.

Anything by Anker. I've had power banks, mains chargers, cables and even a few products from their Soundcore line and j can't fault them for function and build quality.
