[Q] slow down since update after rooting - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I successfully unlocked, s-offed, rooted my phone. When i put android revolution hd on it the wifi and maybe cell didn't work or something like that.
Anyway I have since updated to 4.4.4 and my phone has been very slow at times and sometimes will actually freeze up for a few minutes till I reset my phone.
Does anybody have any advice? Should I flash stock stuff on to potentially clean anything off? I haven't re-rooted the device since the update removed that.
Thank you for your time.

[Q] Problems with 1.35.531?

The other day my wife's slide received an OTA update to 1.35.531, but since she installed that, here phone keeps doing a "soft reset" of sorts. Basically what ever app she's in will close and the launcher will restart, as will the radio, cutting off any downloads and ending any calls she's on. Has any one else had these issues and know of a fix. My only thought is to do a complete reflash, but I'd rather not do that. Her phone isn't rooted nor does it have any custom kernels or anything, just the stock ROM.

[Q] My DHD keeps crashing and rebooting, but only when the screen is locked...

Hello!
For some time now my phone's been rebooting itself completely random it seems. I just got it back after sending it away to get this issue fixed. Obviously the "repair" didn't really do anything at all. All they did was to flash the latest software apparently.
I got quite fed up with the crashing and rebooting stuff, and figured that it wouldn't hurt to try to flash a custom ROM, in this case I chose to root the phone and try MiUi. I had no clue wether it would solve the issue I'm having, but I figured it was worth a try. So i rooted the phone and flashed the latest version of MiUi (1.11.18).
At the start it seemed like it had worked, and had stopped the phone from crashing. But after some time I realized that the issue is still there, only difference now is that it ONLY crashes when I lock the screen with the Power-button. EVERY SINGLE TIME I do this, in a matter of minutes it will either reboot or just turn black and totally unresponsive. Only way to get it on again is to take out the battery and put it back in.
This is starting to annoy the **** out of me, so I talked to my brother for advise this morning, and he told me to wipe my Dalvik Cache. So I did, and nothing changed, the phone keeps on living it's own life.
I have absolutely no clue what info you guys might need to help me with this, but I'll start with this:
Phone: HTC Desire HD
Android-version: 2.3.7
Kernel-version: 2.6.35.14-cyanogenmod-g319b6e2
ROM: MiUi 1.11.18
Also, the motherboard's been switched once, cause of another issue that is now gone.
ANY help is appreciated, I just want to be able to use the phone normally!
EDIT: Also it seems that the phone won't reboot or crash whenever it's charging.
Sounds like a hardware/software issue your best bet is getting a replacement and re rooting .

[Q] Issues reverting to stock.

Quick story: I rooted my note 2 about a year ago. Ran Paranoid Android for a long time. got it in my head I wanted to revert back to stock. So I did, successfully. I then did all the updates, including the dreaded knox firmware. I then went back to PA, but with knox on the phone I was never able to get root access. I did get PA to stick somehow, but for the last 2 months i've been without my LTE. So I decided to revert again, successfully. Because I'm a glutton for punishment I allowed the stock update to kitkat 4.3, which soft bricked my phone. This was after it had been working on 4.1 for a half a day. A really nice guy in this thread showed me how to unbrick my phone and get it back to the bootloader. From there I was able to run the revert to stock again and my phone is again happily running stock 4.1.
All of that is leading to this, the actual question. My phone is constantly hanging when the OS asks if I want to upgrade. I've tried it a couple more times at this point to see if it was just a fluke that the update didn't take. Is soft bricks the phone every time...how do I get the phone updated to 4.3 so it stops asking?? At this point I am stock. I also tried running the auto root but it runs into knox (i think, something goes wrong) and wont take
Dont care what I have to do at this point, the knox counter is already tripped. Although it doesn't show up after running the revert to stock rom.

Having some problems with lollipop

Alright so i was rooted and romed on kitkat and then i had to loss my rom and root and went back to stock and then did the OTA update now its been like 2 days or something and since yesterday my home and power button doesnt work but i can get into download mode and such so they work but not on the system. so i figured id do a factory reset and i did and im still having the problems and its bad cuz its like doing things on its own enabling talkback and **** like i cant do anything. seeing anyone having these problems also or did. Or seeing what i should do here.

Factory reset on a corrupted Android OS?

So about a few years ago, I tried to root my galaxy note 4 (n910aucu2doi3), but I guess it rejected the root because it instantly bricked my phone, to the point where I had to completely wipe it using android recovery. The only way to get my operating system back was to download it online and install it through my PC (I had to find the exact version for my phone as well, 5.1.1 at the time, because it rejected every single other version).
Everything seemed to be working fine, except that I couldn't install software updates on my phone anymore. It was permanently stuck on 5.1.1. It was a bit of an annoyance but I didn't think much of it at the time.
Fast forward to now, and I'm getting several signs that my OS may be corrupted. My phone is constantly freezing, crashing and restarting. Maneuvering through applications causes the phone to freeze for a few seconds before either restarting or crashing the app. I want to say it's definitely a software issue, but I did install a new battery recently and it was working fine for a few weeks, could that be the issue?
If not, I want to start over, but I'm not sure how, and I don't know if it's safe to do a factory reset on this OS. Is there anyway I can get a fresh stock version of an android OS that can also update?
Any help is appreciated, I'm pretty much desperate.
I manually updated to 6.0.1 with the help of this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-att/general/updates-thread-t3663943
It seems to have fixed the issues so far, and my phone can automatically update again
