Finally! You can buy bamboo style swaps - ONE Accessories

Hey guys you can finally buy bamboo backs for our phone of some Chinese websites
In my case its http://www.oppomart.com
Its a bit more expensive but if you're like me and only bought the 1+1 for the interchangeable back then you won't mind the price
This website is legit bought many things off it including my one plus one
My back got shipped today so photographs will follow soon once i receive it
Hit Thanks if I Helped
-_-NAMELESS ROM 1+1-_-

Imo OppoMart is garbage. Look at their ridiculous prices just for the One.
Also do note, if you watched many Bamboo styleswap videos online, it is thicker than the actual Bamboo OnePlus One. Hence cases may not fit perfectly.

I wont be using a case, yes but for me oppomart helped alot because i cant buy the oneplus one here where im from in Ireland

Good point. At least you got the phone. People like me who know how much this phone is actually costing in Chinese markets, online and through connections, look at the International market and wondering why and how they can rip people off so badly.

Not Bamboo Case, but the actual battery cover that is made of bamboo - hence Styleswap.

Yup its a styleswap not a case

no, no, i'm not mention the stylewap, i mean the bamboo case on the page 2, not the stylewap, maybe you hadn't seen it.

It is a REAL bamboo case and it does not cost you a fortune like the original one. It is a bit more thick and I think you'll loose the NFC. But I think for ten bucks you get some good protection.

Apparently the case fits very tight. Aaah, well, just ordered one at Ebay. For ten bucks it's worth a try.........

Received the cover today. Got it from a contact in China, it was shipped with express DHL to the Netherlands. Installation is really really easy. No way this can harm your device in any way, you'll only damage your device if you drop it during installation. The dBrand brushed steel camera vinyl matches the bamboo very good

That looks nice. BTW, I believe the styleswap cover is thicker than the "real" Bamboo OnePlus, can you see whether your camera protrudes just as out as the sandstone? Because as far as I know, the styleswaps were made to be thicker than the sandstone, but the original Bamboo back that comes with the Limited Edition OnePlus One's are just as thin.
It was also mentioned by a couple of Youtubers.

The bamboo is thicker, the camera stil protrudes, but a lot less.
I can't imagine Oneplus, with these already very small badges, would make two covers, one thinner for the bamboo edition and one thicker for the swapstyle covers. This would mean they would need two molds etc. Do you have a side by side video of the Bamboo edition and Swapstyle edition?

I'm going to get the Bamboo one in one week, I'll take a picture of it. But on the OnePlus.cn website, they show it as if it were normal size.
The OnePlus Bamboo edition is the limited version, and was made before they mass produced the Bamboo styleswap. It could be that to be a styleswap, they made it thicker to withstand being able to remove it. Our original sandstone and babyskin white backs aren't styleswap, and not made for removal all day, but yeah I get what you mean.

I know you managed to get it shipped from a contact but I would pay extra to get one sent to me.

My contact bought it locally. But as the retail price is somehwere around 50 usd, shipping is 25 usd (express) you'll be better by buying one from ebay @ 95 usd delivered.

super duper expensive man! I am happy with my orange click-on case from oneplus

80 bucks? that's 30 dollars more than original, and almost a quarter of the cost of the phone. **** that.

I ordered the black one and another person on this thread did so too.
It's a bit pricy, but I like the design. I hope it isn't too heavy or bulky. What's the use having the lightest phone out there to burden it down with a bad case. I also picked up one of the cheap <$5 silicon gel cases. Had good experiences with those in the past, but they are a bit bulky.

Yeah, it's a little pricey, but I like when I find something "Different". I've never seen something quite like these.
$18 isn't more than what T-Mobile wants. This case looks pretty nice though, not as bulky. I'm buying this one and the leather one from Zenus because it looks really good too. Now that one is pricey at about $40...
Bought a red one also last week. It's the color that stands outs to me. Also ordered a jelly case for full protection when I need it.
so are these made out of the same thing as the gel skins? like silicone?
or are they more of a hard material with a rubbery finish?
I love this unique design. It definitely stands out. I'm thinking of ordering the red or green case. Thanks for the link.
really like the design but there's an extra cutout on the top right corner above the camera

LoL seller doesn't know about the Vibrant, but he might be getting more business from all the Tmobile buyer folks in the US.
Will this fit? According to both T-Mobile website specs and GSMArena specs the Vibrant is .3mm wider than the Origional SGS.
Origional SGS: 122.4 x 64.2 x 9.9 mm Source
Vibrant: 122.4 x 64.5 x 9.9 mm Source and Here (you will have to do inch to mm conversion but comes out to same as gsmarena)
P.S. The T-Mobile website says 2.5" but its actually 2.54".

1mm is like smaller than 1/16 of an inch. Your talking .3mm. For Gel cases it should not be an issue. This is a plastic "premium flexible polycarbonate" so it might be a problem, but the design with the extra cutouts on the short sides should allow some flex to the long sides. We won't know for sure till someone gets their case.

Mine shipped yesterday. I should get it in about 5-10 business days. So if it doesn't fit I'll have wasted $20. So it better fit.
I'd recommend getting one of the cheap <$5 soft gel cases from eBay and wait for some feedback on this case.

Yeah, all of the cases for the i9000 will have that extra cutout. It's for the TV antenna that Korean phones have (which we in the US will likely not get to experience anytime soon - HOORAY FOR THE FCC!).

I most definitely will!
Got my mesh case in the mail today. Bought them on the 20th, so delivered from Korea in 6 days. Not bad.
Got them from this seller on eBay. Bought both the mesh and jelly cases. As part of his promo he included free screen protectors and added an additional clear jelly case for getting back to him if his cases fit the Vibrant (which they do!)
Note: The free case and screen protectors were a special gift and a separate promo. I'm not saying everyone will get it. You can ask, but don't bug the seller if he doesn't give you one. If it ain't listed on the eBay listing, you ain't got squat.
First the pictures from the mesh case. The case has a nice snug fit and almost feels metallic. The cutouts fit perfectly, but due to the hard plastic feel sharper edged than the jelly case. Weight-wise it pretty light and actually makes the Vibrant more wieldly because without a case the Vibrant is almost too light.
Here are the pictures of the Jelly case. I got both a clear and black one, but I prefer the black one better and that is what I am using now. The soft silicone is slick enough so that it doesn't feel sticky, but also prevents the Vibrant from sliding around when you put it into your car dashboard (still waiting for my mount). I'm not so hot on the crystal design on the back, but thankfully it isn't too obvious with the darker case.
Here are the pictures. The majority of the picture show the darker "black" case. The clear case is shown in 9263, 9264 and 9265 for comparison.

$10 TPU Case From eBay

Background
I buy exensive devices, but I never want to buy expensive or large cases for my devices. I personally believe cases wreck the look and feel of a device, so if I am going to get one, I go minimalistic as possible. This is where the TPU case comes in.
TPU cases are nice because they fit tightly around the device and do not add much thickness or weight. They are better than your typical rubber, plastic, or silicone because they do not attract dust and hair and whatnot, while also being much studier.
The main thing I wanted to do was find the cheapest case I could and this one came out to $10, which is much better than paying $80 for a Zenus Prestige, or a Melko for over $100. This case was $10 and had free expedited shipping from a US seller and got here in 2 days.
Now About the Case
It comes in different colors, like white, smoke, and black. I chose the smoke so you could still see through the back a little bit. When it arrived it was in a padded envelope which was fine. It fits my Tab 10.1 quite well with all of the cutouts for buttons, headphone jack, speakers, mic, and 30 pin directly centered over where they should be. The only issue I have is that it is a tiny bit loose on the long sides, probably due to the numerous cutouts. Even with that issue it seems well made and adds some protection against dings, scratches, and drops and it doesnt attract dirt and things like that when you set it down. For $10 you really can't go wrong.
This case is for people that want to keep the same overall shape of the device, but have a little protection. This and a screen protector would keep the device protected well. It is for people that do not want to deal with the flaps and folds from the stand cases and it is also for people that are cheap like me.

Thank you, this case is exactly what I want. I was unsure what it would look like, but thanks to your pics I can see that it looks great. I'm buying one now.
I went ahead and ordered the tpu case. I hope it's much better than the **** gel case I ordered a couple weeks ago. That Chinese black gel case on ebay is low quality and poor fitment.
I use the same case for my tab I got a good deal on ebay with some high quality screen protectors included.
I also use a cheap neoprene case I bought from amazon
http://www.amazon.co.uk/SAMSUNG-P71...2C/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1310663987&sr=8-11
This is useful when transporting the Tab in the boot of my car and doubles as a stand if I roll it up and prop the Tab up on it.
TPU is definately the material of choice for this kind of case and the grip pattern at each end of the case make it easier to hold the Tab.
R
Love this case. The tab feels better holding. More grip for sure.
Just got mine today from ebay, i really love this. It feel so much better than having a naked tablet i just will never let my tab touch the ground lol
I got a black version from eBay and it arrived yesterday. Very nice because it's not see-thru, it's totally black and makes the Tab very stealthy... Build quality is good considering the price of $12 with free shipping.

I do like this case and think I will go for this in the time being until incipio comes out with there silicyrilic case next month or so. How does the weight feel to it? Does it seem durable if it was dropped or banged around? I would like to be able to bring it anywhere outdoors and keep it protected fairly well.

I believe that this is when they'll take the opportunity to display and announce the sale of all (seven?) of the original Style Swap covers.
My Bacon has a clear case on it to protect it, but I still want it to look nice when I look at the back. I want the Kevlar, bamboo, and carbon fiber backs to make my phone stand out. Nice custom look while giving extra protection to the phone from the clear IMAK case. Best of both worlds.
Edit: In addition to the bamboo, I hope to see some extremely dense wood Style Swap covers as well. Just for that nice look and some serious protection for the back. Of course it would add quite a bit of weight, but it would definitely be solid.

Personally I am looking forward to the carbon fiber back, but I wonder what the price point for these new backs will be. I am surprised to see OnePlus pushing accessories when they still have yet to offer pre-orders or open ordering for everyone though.
anybody found a simillar cover on ebay or aliexpress?
I'm just wondering how tough it'll be to change out the back plates cause I saw a post the other day and the person really messed up his back plate taking it off, basically making it not usable until the new ones are out..
I soldered in a wireless charging receiver, but it doesn't pass through the back cover well. I'm looking to find a replacement back so I can modify it so the inductive coil is on the outside with the wires running in.
This is the one I purchased. But I'll likely get the official wooden one when it goes up for sale.

I prefer dbrand. https://dbrand.com/shop/oneplus-one and they have a warning for the sandstone themselves.
Important note about the black OnePlus One:
We strongly encourage you not to skin the back of your Sandstone Black OnePlus One. While covering it with a skin will definitely make it look cool, it won't improve the fantastic grip already offered by the Sandstone finish.
With that being said, adding a front and matching camera skin would be a great idea. Every front skin comes packaged with two anti-glare screen protectors, providing full protection for the front of your device.
At dbrand, we care about user experience. In the end, the choice is entirely yours.

I feel that dbrand should not do vinyl skins but do custom back plates kinda like what OPO is doing since they offer dbrand skins but they don't recommend skins over the sandstone.

Case recommendations?

Can anybody recommend a case for the S2? Most makers will make the same case for the 8.0 and 9.7" so we can keep them all here.
The official tablet cases don't look too easy to hold.
Have you tried it, I think its good.
I think the official book cover is good. It's nice and slim
I went with a Ledo case because I don't like traditional cases adding additional bulk. It's made for an iPad mini but it fits my 710 perfectly!

Wow, both cases I like better than anything else I have seen. Can you provide any info on where to find either, especially the first one?

I got it direct from china, so no link available, your only option is from amazon, ebay or aliexpress, although you might not be able to get them for my price.

As much as I like to save, I do notice quality differences between those cheapy ones and the slightly more expensive so called brand name ones. Smudges and fingerprints for example, wipes off easily from my Skinomi on the note 5 whereas the cheap $1.99 ones from ebay not so much.

I've tried many glass protectors, the only ones I call quality are those made from Korea, but those cheap one from china will do for me, used them for many years, not a single problem, I'm very careful with my stuff, used them to protect from scratches:fingers-crossed:.

Official Book Cover for Tab S2
Hey guys, I just bought the Official Book Cover for the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7" version. I'll drop a review video this time next week. Got the black and the gold for my wife. Until then here are some pics. BTW...It's a pretty awesome case!
I got the roocase and I love the vertical stand. I also have the skinomi glass screen protector.
http://www.amazon.com/Features-Landscape-Portrait-Turquoise-Gunmetal/dp/B012HU7C2O
I ordered this one and it looks nice, but the tablet has to be perfectly even or it closes shut. It is also very awkward to open, do not recommend.

Well these came in today. Both were cheap and both fit and function perfectly.
ProCase A fantastic, sturdy, durable folio case for only usd $10. 10 freakin dollars. Seriously is the best $10 I've ever spent.
Paired it with this tempered glass: OMOTON® Tempered-Glass Protector
Anyone who is thinking of the Fosmon TPU and regular clear screen protectors from amazon I just got them. The screen protectors are fine. The case is a very tight fit. Too tight actually that the bottom lip gets pulled back from the surface of the screen.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Free mobile app
Here are some pictures of the roocase, so many different ways to rest the tablet, vertical or horizontal. The tablet also has the skinomi glass screen protector.
See for me I mainly read laying down in bed on my back. It's the only time I use the tablet and it's just for may e a half hour a day. Like now just before bed.
Anyway, coming from the nexus 7 this tablet I'd very hard to hold like this. Very hard to type on though SwiftKey split keyboard helps. It's also really hard to hold above you in suspended form.
The official case while nice doesn't seem to offer much grip. It can make the tablet wider but that's not going to be easy to hold.
I tend to not like cheap cases because with my experience they smell terrible. I have a case for my nexus 7 from Omatom or whatever and it still stinks a year later.
I think a case with a hand strap is probably best for me. What do you guys think?
Hi, I got an origami type case/cover from eBay. It really is good as it folds to hold the tablet vertical or horizontal on a table.

Best Rugged case

So I'm waiting on my OnePlus 3T. Other than that the overpriced Otterbox and what's OK Amazon, has anyone found a good rugged case that doesn't add a lot of bulk to the phone? Thanks.

I found this Orzly's case so good, maybe too width for you though. Look up for "Orzly® Grip-Pro Case" (XDA does not allow me to share links yet)

Some people might say that an Otterbox case is overpriced. While I agree that they are certainly costly compared to other cases out there, they do offer some pretty good protection. I see it like this... Some people get insurance on their phone because they know that one day they might need to make a claim and get a replacement phone. Me personally, I've never had insurance on a phone and have also never broken a phone. So instead of paying a monthly fee for something that might happen, I pay a one time fee to ensure that I'm getting good protection on a costly device. With that said I do have an Otterbox case for my OnePlus 3T and so far it's been great.
You can take a look at Poetic Cases. I'm rocking now the Revolution on my Moto Z Play, model made for Z Force, and I can tell you, for under 20$, u cannot find other 2 pieces case with protection on display, some plastic. The plastic will scratch easily but in the end, not the shell worth, just the nucleus . It's a little bulky, steady in hands and the back piece is made from hard plastic and the edges of it from some nice good TPU.
Sorry for my bad english skills. Hope you got the ideea.
anyone thinking about rhinoshield? (https://rhinoshield.io/collections/oneplus-3)
I saw a video on youtube where a dude using this bumper case on his 3, tried getting the phone damaged by dropping the phone from various heights. the phone was unscathed even after falling from 22 ft (2 storey up). however in general usage, the phone will (likely) not be falling from a 2 storey building but a user's pocket height, so the case seems good. however, at 25 USD, it feels a bit pricier. but i guess that's a better protection/weight tradeoff than most fully phone covers.
what's your opinion guys?
I use a Spigen Neo Hybrid Case on my 3T and I love it!!!
Good protection yet slim (adds 3,25mm thickness) and beautiful!
For my eyes it is the best looking case out there that adds enough protection.
And even the price is not bad with 14,99 Euro here in Germany or I think $17,99 on amazon.com.

I have this case. Works well, and will work with the oneplus 2 holster from Seidio if you are so inclined. Also works with the TGSP without causing the edges to lift up.
Definitely would recommend and second the spigen case.

The faux carbon fiber look at the top is great too, gives a D-Brand kind of feel to it.

Could you give me precise measurement of the case (with calipers )? I'm currently using a Tudia Merge (rugged dual layer) and I find it kinda wide and thick (that's what she said...). This Spigen looks good, but I don't want to spend yet another $10-$15 if they're the same.

Oh, I didn't think about that. Sometime they do put them a bit smaller than real life, but I guess I can still get an idea about it.

It's covering the microphone on the back!
The answer is OtterBox always. I have it in black and it feels awesome. Best protective case.
Picked up the Otterbox when I ordered my phone. Not sure how $25 is considered overpriced for the protection you want.
You get what you pay for.
