Hi all!
Anyone had the guts to order DX's "Designer's HDTV Adapter for Samsung P7510" ?
I mean, we all know there is no such thing as a micro usb port on our P7510's.
If it actually has the 30-pin connection instead of the micro usb shown in the picture, it is a bargain!

Not really. Get the HDMI dock from Verizon. $10. It's the 7" version but you can take off the adapter and it fits fine. Look for a thread called "HDMI dock."
Can I transfer photos from my camera to a Nexus over USB?
When I search I find lots about transferring pictures from the Nexus to a computer, but nothing about camera to GNex, so I'm probably missing some obvious search term. I don't yet have the phone so I can't test.
Of course you can.
Just find a mini to micro USB cable and plug into camera and Nexus?
thanks
There seem to be apps to view RAW files (nef, cr2, etc.), so I take it there's no native support?

No that won't work with what your saying. U need to buy a micro usb otg cable. Then get the app stickmount and then u should be good to go. I have used a phone on my phone and it has worked fine. So I'm sure ur camera will be fine as well

Aha!
Are there micro usb to mini usb otg cables? The closest I can find is micro male to standard usb female ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/Data-Cable-...ccessories&hash=item43b0e7fd2f#ht_3011wt_1066 ), to which I'd attach a mini to standard USB cable
Root phone and get stickmount
voilĂ
I would find a right angle micro usb otg cable. And I haven't seen an otg cable that had a mini out on from the micro side

Hey guys,
Do you know if this will work with the note 2? I know that Samsug has their Smart dock but i canot justify it for the price. I also knowthat there are some knockoffs out there but from what i uderstand they do not allow you to us both hdmi out and usb otg at the same time.

Hi, may i know if there is USB OTG support for Note 10+? I cannot use OTG on my device, is it hardware problem? or software problem?

This thread prompted me to check the OTG for myself, I have USB 3.0 dongle that I haven't used for a while - all is good, it works.
This dongle doesn't require additional, supporting apps, I just plugged it in and it showed as a drive right on.
I dont't know if it qualifies an OTG device, but I used my Flir cam with the Note 10+ and it works. Since it is a micro usb connection, I had to get a micro to USB C adapter and it specifically requires an OTG rated or compatible connector. The regular micro usb to USB C adapters don't work.

It does work, every combination I tried. Not a necessity to even have a designated OTG dongle:

For a Flir One? I was specifically talking about attaching a Flir. It is a specific requirement to make it connect to a USB C device.
For data transfer, charging, or other connections, I can use any micro usb to C adapter.

No, not specifically. I was referring to OP question in general terms. Sorry if I misled you.
i tried plugging in my USB OTG pendrive, there is no notification that it detects the drive. could it be a regional firmware problem?

Shouldn't make any difference, it's OS ability to do these things. In my case I just plug it into USB and it shows in "My files" app.
How is your pendrive formatted, is it FAT32? My microSD drives for Android are all formatted as FAT32 I even found a way to format 64 and 126GB to FAT32. Can't use it for full movies though. If you have another microSD around try to format it as FAT32 and see if that works.
Also, see if it helps when you change the default settings for connected USB devices.
