Is there a way to root the S 10.5, model #SM-T807A? I looked at the chainfire but the model number isn't listed.

Isn't that an att model? Well I believe they have locked bootloaders so no..
Yes it's the At&t model. So no root method? On my s5 I was able to get root with the bootloader being locked.

That was because towelroot worked for the s5. Towelroot doesn't work for the tab s since its newer

I have searched and haven't really found a complete Ambar to all my questions. I have an unlocked AT&T Note 2 being used on Tmobile. How do I root it and keep it unlocked do I use the AT&T root or Tmobile root and do I use AT&T ROMS or T-mobile roms? Thank you.

Since it's the at&t version, you use all of the at&t tools and ROMs

No you will not lose your unlock privilege and you can use tmobile rom or att rom and use the att tools to root your phone
Thank you very much.

They didn't when it was first released.
The ATT and Verison variants were updated about 2 months ago and that update locked the bootloader.
T Mobile never released that update. So the T Mobile version remains unlocked.
That's a big plus in my opinion, even if people are upset that the T Mobile version never got the updated with the apps2sd function. That was the update that locked the bootloader.
There is a new update coming to T Mobile sometime in the near future (probably) and it's unknown at this time if that update will lock the bootloader on teh T Mobile version as well.
My dad got a galaxy s 3 from AT&T and he wants to use it with a T-Mobile sim card. Should he have AT&T unlock it or will installing cyanogenmod 10.2 work?
Try this..... did it to my S3 & S4

I'm also on MF3 w/ SafeStrap using STOCK ROM (SGH-i337) and this "Region Lock" by chainfire unlocked my SIM. I can now use a T-Mobile SIM and its recognized fine.

Follow this guide. It's free and easy. You do have to be on a Touchwiz based Rom.

As titles states, i wonder if the phone will relock after this update or remain unlocked
Great Question...
Still unlocked on one of my test gs6 edges
It shouldn't affect the sim unlock. Flash away
System updates do not touch efs partitions..only in really really rare cases
