Hello, I'm really ignorant about these things, so I'll just ask here.
I need a power bank to charge the Tab S 10.5 during travels, but I see there are so many output variants that it scares me - not even sure how dangerous it could get, but better prevent right?
Let's say I buy a 15000mAh power bank that has 3 plugs: 5V 2.1A, 5V 1.5A or 5V 1A. Which one would I use the tablet on?
Thanks.
5V, 2.1A.

Thanks.
Just to know, what would happen if I plugged it in any other?
It would charge slower. That's all. Slow charging could as well be better for the battery health (but not by much).
The MHL3 has some power source type recognition and high and low current controls. If you are rooted you can use synapse to check all that.

Regarding the power bank: the capacity numbers are just plain random. The only way to surely get high capacity in a small package are DIY charger cases, where you apply your own 18650 Li-Ion cells.
By theway, my charger at least list 5.3V and 2.1A

Hi,
I've lost the charger for the Desire HD. I'm in Bangladesh and I do not have access to any HTC shops here, as there is non. To make matters worse, Bangladesh has made it very difficult to buy products online. Even if you do somehow make the purchase, customs is probably going to make sure the thing never gets to you.
So, the option I have now is buying another charger that delivers the exact output as the HTC Desire HD charger does.
Information about the charger's specification will be really helpful here. Like voltage and and amps.
Thanks in advance.
HTC uses a standard micro USB charger 5V at 1A. A replacement charger does not have to be 1A. It can be lower but the phone will just charge slower. But stay away from chargers that only have a low mA rating like those for some bluetooths. I have a bluetooth charger that is only 188mA (.188A) and it does not charge the phone properly.
Thank you...I just found a bluetooth charger with the exact 5v and 1A
any charger with 5v output will do. I used a "self made" play station portable charger for a long time. just took an old micro usb cable and brazed it to the psp charger, lol.

Hi Guys,
Did anyone of you bought a power bank that can charge your galaxy tab? I bought a Yoobao 15,600mAh Thunderbolt Power Bank YB665 power bank. From it's spec seems that it suppose to be able to charge my P7500 since it has output of up to 2A.
- Universal power pack: Suitable for mobile phones, iPhone, iPad, cameras, HTC, SAMSUNG, Blackberry, Nokia, PSP/NDSL, and MP3/MP4 players
- Input: 5V DC, 2,000mA
- Dual Outputs: 2,000mAh & 1000mAh
- Size:152*75*23 mm
- Net Weight:380g
- Gross Weight:545g
Well i'm quite disappointed since it doesn't works. For the time being i'm just modified the kernel a little bit so that I've USB charge enable but as we know that it only can charge up to 500mA. So it only can be charge during idle/screen off.

Is it working with your galaxy tab?
How do I charge a Power Bank?
I bought some power banks. But i don‘t know how to use them.
The product was sent to me at a discounted price in exchange of a review, and this review is based on my own unbiased opinion.
So I needed a charger to use while travelling with many USB ports, and I found this charger from iClever that really seem's to be great.
The charger came in a plain box without much information, and inside of the box there was a manual, some information regarding their review program, a power cord and the charger itself. At first, I was surprised by how small this charger was and I really though it would perform badly, but I was wrong - it's the best charger I've ever owned.
So first of all, there's 6 different USB ports that can output up to 2,4amps - which means they're ideal for both phones and tablets. The charger have a feature similar to Ankers chargers, and that is a smart IC that monitors the charging and limits the output current for different devices.
So after using my XTAR power meter, I was able to get about 1,5 amps out while charging my phone - and that rate didn't decrease either after plugging in more devices. The voltage stays stable around 5v, and there's no dips down to 4volts.
So I've got no complaints really about this charger, and I really like this charger.

How do you think of this product? Do you know an alternative?
What is the difference between this and every other powerbank that has the same outputs as long as you can hook up a USB cable to it.
For that you need to know the USB Type-C features.
Etc.:
USB Type-C devices also support power currents of 1.5 A and 3.0 A over the 5 V power bus in addition to baseline 900 mA

I have one of them. Unfortunately you can use only USB Type-A for discharge (so only 1 port is available for other devices)
For the price, I'd stick to Anker PowerCore 20100.
I have it and I am totally happy! Charges 2 devices, fast and double the capacity.
So I made a hand bag where i keep all my needed Charger and Gadgets in so it will be near my hand when i am using
In the Bag i have:
- Galaxy s7 Duos
-Ipad Mini 2
- Huawei MiFi E5776
So for all this gear i need a good power supply, so for on the go i got:
Anker 10000 porotble which support
"Speed charging, QC 3.0" ???!!!

}
and now when i came to search for the best traveler wall charger i got confuse what to get
this dual "QC 3.0"???!!!
OR
this "1 QC2.0 and 2 IQ port"???!!!
so now i come to the real Question
i search in google about each type of charger and how it work i got an idea about it but
i listed my devices because i dunno which charger to get is it speed charger IQ or is it QC 2.0 or 3.0?
are my device actually getting benefit from this type of chargers or it is just for sale advertisement ?
will it harm the devices battery if i used any of this charging technology on them all ?
please help
