Sorry if been posted search from app takes forever if its not on top.
My xda app does not remember my favorite forums. It does remember my favorite threads. Im pretty sure it even remembered my fav threads through FR and reinstall.
I bought the app to support. Please advise or add to bug list.

Was it really necessary to create the same thread again?
So, after polluting the Themes and Apps Section, you are here to pollute the Q and A Section? Good job.
Someone said to post it in q and a instead of themes and apps and i want an answer to my question so if you can find an answer elsewhere on xda then please send a link as i have searched and searched again but i cant find an answer

Did you try searching on Google, try using keywords such as fpse control resize xda or something like....
And I think what he meant was next time post questions in q&a no point in having 2 threads for the same thing.

I was wondering if it is possible to get lurk access (read-only) to the dev forum through the XDA app? I can read them on a PC just fine, but the XDA app shows no topics existing. Is this a problem with permissions (ie: I have none) or the app?
Edit: Hmmm... I just noticed this issue with the "accessories" forum as well... Insights?
Edit: I figured it out. Clearing data didn't work, nor did unsubscribing and resubscribing. It appears to be an issue with the XDA app. If I try to get to the forum using a "favorites" shortcut, it doesn't display anything and throws an error, but if I navigate to the forum without using a "favorites" shortcut, it displays fine. A workaround I found is to "favorite" the parent forum. (Sprint GS3 in this case.) Then I only have to navigate a small list to get there.

Re: [Q] Lurk access to dev forums on XDA app?
In this forum? You should be able to see them fine, but get an error when trying to post if you're postcount < 10
If you just flashed a rom, it mighve been a bad flash. Try wiping xda's cache and then open it again
Also, try to restore as little app data as possible (if you restore any), it can cause funky errors sometimes

Installing the XDA app was no problem at all, but ..... the log-in seemed in first instance impossible.
Also no problem to visit the XDA website and no problem to vieuw in the app everything as a Guest.
Then I started with collecting the links here:

What I learned: the app needs a browser to "Authorize" ....
Anyway my browser did not the trick AND everything was difficult to understand if you don't see anything
of the authorization process.
The browser even did not show any other screen than the log-in screen so there was no clue how to go further.
After this all ... I decided that possibly a second browser might be helpful. (After reading the mentioned links)
My choise became Firefox ..... (rooted device) which i made my default browser.... a simple solution wich worked immediately.
The result is a nice very good smooth functioning app. Thank you.
Made this thread, just to let you know this.
Hoping it might help someone the moment
the app is a wish, which it should be.
