Hi guys! Let me introduce to you this awesome MOD:
Let's start underlining again (as clearly stated in topic title) that this is not my work - the developer of the xPosed framework is rovo89 so why don't you leave him a "thanks"?
So, as making a duplicate would be useless I am not copying-pastying the original thread you can find HERE
By the way, I got the permission from rovo89 himself to mantain a S3 Mini dedicated thread for his MOD
PLEASE NOTICE - do not spam the official thread with bugreports, do it here instead. If you don't understand a step, you want more clarifications on how this framework is working, or a mod isn't working for you and so on, just leave a post here and I'll help you to get through your problems/curiosities
That said...
The xPosed framework itself only has the potential to mod your ROM. It doesn't include any extra feature, that you will get by installing additional modules, but we will talk about that later.
Features:
No need to modify system apks (so no unpacking,decompiling,recompiling,ect... very n00b friendly!)
Universal - it works on multiple devices and ROMs as it relies on proprietary framework
Changes are fully revertable by simply uninstalling the framework, so no need to reflash your ROM
Open source!
Instructions:
First of all you need to setup your framewok:
- Download the Xposed installer.from the original thread
- Install it on your phone
- Launch the Xposed Installer and click on "Install/Update"
- Reboot and you're done!
As I said before installing the framework only won't make any magic. To start modding your system you have to download some additional modules you can find here: http://www.villainrom.co.uk/forum/forums/xposed_framework_mods/ (a google search may reveal more modules repositories though )
The modules are in apk format, if you want to install them do this way:
- Download <module>.apk and install it
- Launch the Xposed Installer and go to the "Modules" tab
- Enable the module by checking the checkbox
- Reboot (sometimes soft reboot is enough) and you're done! :good:
Now lets talk about these modules. I have tried most of them before posting here to provide some useful hands-on feedback and here's what I suggest to install (100% working mods) on our S3 mini:
Dithered Holo Background
Email Text Colour
No increasing ringtone
Samsung Keyboard short delay
Xposed delivery notify toast
Xposed tweakbox (you'll find it on GSII forums - HERE )
Description of the mods: -more info on the repository page-
- Dithered Holo Background:
This mod fixes a minor annoyance in ICS/Jelly Bean that shows a slight color banding over Holo backgrounds.
- Email Text Colour:
Use this if you're using stock Samsung Email client - NOT THE ONE IN MY DMOD THAT'S INVERTED. As many of you could have noticed, stock email app isn't that readable. Why? Black backgrounds+greyish text. If you are not using my inverted email mod this could come in handy because changes the text colour from grey to a more white one
- No increasing ringtone:
Easy, this disables the default increasing ringtone and will play your ringtone at the same volume from the beginning to the end
- Samsung keyboard short delay:
If you, like me, don't like to use a third party keyboard this could be quite useful. If you've ever wondered about the possibility of reducing the long-press delay this is the answer, by reducing time from 500ms (that's just ridicolous) to 200ms.
- Xposed delivery notification toast:
If you're using delivery notifications (i find them veeery useful) you'll find this mod great. Samsung has a strange way of handling delivery reports, as a notification appears in the status bar and the SMS ringtone will be played. So it's not that different from a normal SMS... this will transform the notification into a little toast (just like superuser ones) and no sound will annoy you anymore
-Xposed tweakbox
A nice xposed module (with own GUI, like a standalone app), with a nice collection of graphical mods:
Statusbar mods - they work just fine!
CRT effect - does NOT work as it relies on a modded
Battery mods - working
Phone mods - working, call recording NOT tested
Miscellaneous - they work - SKIP TRACKS WITH VOLUME BUTTON INCLUDED!
So at the end of the day these are the major mods you can get with xposed, even on a stock ROM (if rooted):
- No SMS to MMS conversion
- No increasing ringtone
- Change default smilies
- Enable call recording (not tested yet)
- Launcher modifications
- Real SMS timestamps
- Per-app DPI and UI settings
and some other nice (but minor) mods/fixes
You can find credits in the original thread!

I ask because i think you must go on with your rom only for N version crying, I have standard one so I use right now Benz rom V4, I ask to Benz if can include this mod on the next update but of corse I just ask for it but if I can do it by this module I'm happy too

installing the module, by xposed flag the module, reebot, tourn off the mobile and send sms with other mobile, after 10 minute i open mobile and.... not working... :crying:
And if someone, like me, had the problem with xposedbridge.jar not installing and failures like this:
Code:

mounting/system writable

Created backup of
app_process executable at /
system/bin/app_process.orig
copying app_process...
[: not found
copying XposedBridge.jar...
cp:cant create '/data/xposed/XposedBridge.jar.newversion':
Path does not exist
then do read this and do exactly what is indicated. It all works like a charm afterr that. Click thanks there and not to me, as ante0 discovered it.
ps: never had a problem on my SGS II, its wife's SGS III Mini perking and acting I guess, even though it's well rooted and modified

Hey,
Since the AT&T label doesnt register with Tinted Status Bar module, I have made it my mission to get rid of the pesky carrier label. So far I have tried some xposed modules such as Motoguide and the carrier name app with no luck. I have read some methods that involve decompiling system ui and modifying it but I would prefer to avoid methods such as these if there is an easier solution. Is there a flashable zip or xposed module that can get this done?
Thanks!

You're correct. With Viper ROM you can modify the text and even carrier symbol and you still got Sense 6!

I've never really messed around with Xposed. Sorry if my question is dumb but, where do you get the modules? Are they within the app? Is this where you get the app?

Update Xposed from v71 to v72 for Verizon LG G4
Verizon LG G4 VS986 confirmed working with xposed-v72-sdk22-arm64.zip upgrade(Ram is better, battery drain is less)
1)Wipe cache on start
2)Start os
3)If Flashfire doesn't open, change date in the phone settings to earlier than 8.30.15
4)Follow instructions for v71 installation, but instead of v71.zip use uninstaller for xposed (xposed-uninstaller-20150831-arm64).Do not uninstall previous version of Xposed which was installed from xposed-v71-sdk22-arm64-by-romracer-20150816 with regular phone means.
5)do not check auto-mount,touch upper right sign and the main page of Flashfire opens
6)Flash (at the very bottom of the screen) uninstaller (all necessary files should be placed on the root of Internal Storage) and wait 10 minutes +,Loading lines appear then another 10 minutes, the phone reboots itself.
7)repeat procedure with Flashfire with zip file xposed-v72-sdk22-arm64
8)Long story now, approximately half an hour of dark screen(do not touch the phone and patiently wait)
9)phone reboots itself, wait and don't worry it'll work with updated Xposed Framework v72,all modules, that have been there before the upgrade, will be there working and activated,no need to reset Xposed Installer_3.0_alpha4.apk
P.S. Make sure the phone has enough charge and not connected to the computer and I assume that you alredy installed this: xposed-v71-sdk22-arm64-by-romracer-20150816.If not, then follow all the instructions from Romracer for v71 file, but
1)use v72 instead
2)Flashfire will not work unless you change the date in the phone settings(you'll correct this easily later)
3)And you will have to wait longer this time(remember, approximately half an hour of dark screen with the impression that the phone is dead, but no worry, just wait and do nothing, cause that's the way it's resetting).Good luck!
It is now at V73. Just flashed on top of the current version and works fine.

Amplify works great on v74 as well.
Anyone have problems using flashfire to flash the 8/31 uninstaller to uninstall v74 XPosed?
VZW LG G4
I would like to use CoolTool to display clock and battery info (along with other stuff) but I want to disable the stock clock, battery and network stats on status bar so its not as cluttered. So far wanam doesnt work, xui hasn't worked and SB Icon Hider all don't work.
I'm also trying to figure out how to have cool tool put the status on the right instead of the left overlayed on notifications. Anyone have any idea's?
I am finding that of all the modules I have tried most settings do nothing to change the phone. I have tried Gravitybox, XBlaster even Wanam & Lp.
Wanam seems to work the best . I managed to get the header panel & the pull down settings menu to change to ...well....... some what of what I want it to look like. I also managed to get the clock up to the left of the status bar, but thats all.
Lp themer allowed me to change the top panel color. (which is what I wanted). It's a small but works.
Gravitybox let me put a nav bar in . That's all.
Xblaster let me color settings icons , That's all.
I don't know but maybe the modules work more thoroughly when you have fully unlocked bootloader. Maybe they need to work alone not with other settings.
If that's the case I wouldn't need xposed any way I could just install a Rom & be done.
I like the ideas & praise the developers .
Samsung S4 I545 de-odexed & rooted
Have you restarted your phone each time you tried to change any settings? Also, try deleting and redownloading, that worked for me whenever my modules weren't working.
Not all those modules will work if you have a TW rom on your S4. For instance, GravityBox is more for AOSP/CM roms. The only thing you can use is wanam or some of the others that say they specifically target Samsung phones.
mate, just use Flat style bar
This is in place until TWRP is ready. You need root and of course you need to be attached to your PC. On first installation of systemui base, a pop-up asking to give ADB shell root permission will show. Please do so.
The purpose of this installer is to generate for you a custom module that you can flash in Magisk Manager. It will have all the mods that you have selected from the installer menu.
Custom clocks (date, etc) and internet speed indicators do not change colors due to light-dark background colors like the statusbar icons do.
The developer of Active edge gave me permission to use his base so that people would not have to make a choice between his and my mods. All credit for this goes to him. You must delete the active edge sense module and use one of my active edge modules. If it doesn't say active edge then it isn't active edge sense compatible. If there is an issue with edge sense after flashing, do not contact edge sense op with issues. He does not troubleshoot modified versions of his mod (and neither do I).
I'm also including my Pixel Launcher mod. Also a ADB Installer. You can change app drawer background-text color (separately for light mode and dark mode), remove weather from Launcher. Change the number of hot seat icons on home page (and size) as well as change the number of columns in the app drawer.
ADB Installer Instructions-Root is required
1. Flash one of the SystemUI Bases First. They provide the necessary smali files and public ID's for everything to work.
2. FLASH ALL THE MODS YOU WANT. ONCE YOU DONE WITH EVERYTHING, FLASH THE "COMPLETE INSTALLATION" Option. This will create a Magisk Manager flashable zip in a folder on your sdcard called ozop. Flash that to install your selection of mods.
Root required
Instructions.
1. Unzip ADB Mods Installer Files.zip on your PC
2. Run TulsadiverModsInstaller.bat (Give ADB Root Permissions)
3. ADB debugging Enabled
4. Flash one of the SystemUI Bases First. They provide the necessary smali files and public ID's for everything to work
5. Go through the other options selecting what all mods you want. It is generally best to start at the top and work your way down.
6. Once finished with selections, run "Complete Installation" at the bottom. This will generate your mymagisk.zip module in a folder called "ozop" on your sdcard.

There are center clock options. Only the "center clock" option turns dark on light statusbars and visa versa. The others are text clocks and therefore stay white ( unless you choose to set a statusbar icons color).

I'm not sure how you have your adb environment set up. I have mine so I can do it from anywhere. I would try the command adb devices wherever you have that file saved and make sure your phone's communicating with it. And if that doesn't work you probably going to have to save it wherever your platform tools is saved. I'm not sure.
