Help...those with the Developer Edition of the Note 4
My Verizon rep is trying to order the DE for me but we cannot find the SKU and this is the only way he can order it if we can get the SKU to see if he can find it.
He asked if I can ask someone here who have the DE to look at your box or the receipt and tell me the SKU for your model. What we looked up was SM-N910VMKEVZW but he did not find it. Can you please tell me what SKU you have?
Thanks

It is a question correct…but I need visibility to only a select few that have the DE model and could be helpful for others…
That was my thinking...
As far as i know i think the DE version is only available from samsung directly. Unless VZW has a few in a deep and dark warehouse somewhere
Only from Samsung.

There is no sku on my box for the phone itself. There is a IMEI, SW-Ver number N910V0YU1ANI1 (I think that mean software number but not sure), and a SIM SKU which is EMBD4GNFC-M and a ICCID number.

I accidentally set the wrong country in my software update. i am from india and accidentally setup uk. I want to fix this please tell me a way :crying:
anyone here please help me
This is forum for t999 & t999x and I don't remember having to chose a country with this model, so I suggest you ask in the international s3 forum, which is the one for your model.. Although I would think if you can't find it in settings, then a factory reset would probably let you change to India

I'm just not sure if this is the developer version or retail.

They have different model numbers. Where did you buy the phone. If you didn't buy it directly from Samsung (not Verizon) or from someone selling it as a Developer Edition then it is a Retail model. If you received the update you mention and are running NJ5 then you have a retail model. The Developer Edition does not receive updates OTA from Verizion or Samsung. The base for the Developer Edition is NI1

CDMA Tool is probably the best software for stuff like this. I'm not going to type up how it's done though. Haha
Just check out some tutorials on it. That's how I learned to use all the features of the software.

I don't know why I said Toolbox. Smh
CDMA Workshop will "repair" the ESN/MEID on CDMA phones and the IMEI on GSM phones. It works with CDMA/WCDMA/GSM/HSDPA/UTMS/LTE phones. I know v3.9 works.

One of the things we ask here at XDA is to not do things that can get us into trouble... We neither condone nor advise ANYONE to change their IMEI numbers... It's illegal in most country's... Closed
Hello, I want to get the snapdragon Note 10+, so a friend can get me the US Cellular N975U but I will be using it in the UK. So, if anyone can help to answer my doubts:
1) How do I check if the device is region locked?
2) Will I be able to receive the SW updates with my UK sim here? or am I going to be restricted to flash manually via odin etc?
Thanks in advance

Give this a look & then contact US Cellular with the device IMEI, they'll likely need it to check for unlock status.

As for getting updates with a non-US Cellular SIM Card, I'd definitely ask about that as well.
Hopefully, someone here @ XDA will chime-in with their experience.

Go to Settings, then About Phone, then Software Information. Scroll down to Service provider SW ver. On the bottom string of letters are your device’s CSC Codes. The first 3 letters are your Active CSC, the CSC currently in use. The last 3 letters are the Original CSC which tells you which service provider originally sold the device.
