11/8/14 Connect Update - Moto 360

Since upgrading to the new Connect software my Moto360 now displays "Ok Google" every time the watch face turns on. In the Settings on the Moto360 it says I'm on 4.4W.2 and it says Android Wear 1.0.1.1526154. On my phone, LG G3, it says Android Wear 1.0.2.1545943. I'm not sure if the discrepancy in the Android Wear versions on the watch and phone is causing this problem, but not sure if that makes sense since the Connect app is what updated and not the Android Wear app. HELP PLEASE AS THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!
And sorry the post title should read 11/7/14 Connect Update.

To get rid of the "OK Google" on the screen, just do about 7 or 8 voice commands. Ask it about state capitals, or whatever, and it should disappear after several searches. It does it every time the watch resets. Annoying? Yes... but not a big deal.

Random disconnects when right next to phone

Anyone else having random disconnects when right by the phone? Disconnecting and reconnecting via the wear app on my phone doesn't seem to fix the issue either. Could it be that I'm on a network extender attached to my wifi for cell signal boosting because it appears to sync the apps, just nothing internet related.
I'm having the same issues. Just got mine yesterday and I have frequent connection drops and have to reset Bluetooth on my phone to reconnect. The android wear app says that it is connecting, but no matter what I do it won't pair up again until I reset that Bluetooth.
I saw somewhere else someone said they had a similar issue on CyanogenMod. I'm running the latest CM11 nightly on a VZW S4. What phone and ROM are you using? May help us troubleshoot.

The GPE 4.4.4 on GS4.
I'll say "Ok, Google Call X" and it just does the spinning circle and soon after disconnected. Resetting bluetooth, restarting watch and phone does nothing for it. I'm thinking maybe it's the phone rom. I may go back to stock and try completely stock with it just to rule out any 3rd party bluetooth issues and what not.
Regarding the spinning circle after saying something after "OK Google", ...
I had this too. To help diagnose, I took my phone out and said "OK Google" and the phone didn't respond. So I concluded it was the phone. To fix this, I kill'ed the Google process and let it start again by trying "OK Google" on the phone again. After that works, I then try using the Moto 360 and then it responds.
The "OK Google" functionality makes up a big chunk of what the Moto 360 can do (and perhaps all other Android Wear watches). Without a reliable Google process working, that functionality falls apart.
In my case, my ROM was not quite right. I ended up doing a factory reset and re-flashing. I'm on Note 3 N900T DNF9. So far so good. But as soon as I see the spinning circle, I don't even wait. I test it by saying "OK Google" followed by "weather".

Can't initiate navigation on Android Wear Watch

I can't start navigation my Moto 360 for some reason. I used to be able to say a location, and it would open Maps on my phone, and the navigation would start. Now when I try to navigate to a location it says to check phone to continue, bur nothing is there when I check my phone. It the Android Wear app on my phone it says for navigation that it's using Maps Micro, not sure what that is and why it's not the full Google Maps. I'm on CM 12 on my Note 3. I tried reinstalling Maps, and restarting my watch.
I have the same problem. I just got my Moto360 and was under the impression, that one could start a navigation directly on my watch.
Anybody?
A fix was pushed out via the phones maps update yesterday. Motorola recommended giving about 20 minutes after the app updates on the phone for the changes to sync to watch

And it's still not working. At least not for me...
The downgrade of maps worked on my LG G watch . Thanks for the link.
I had a similar problem with my Huawei Watch + Note 4 (stock). My Smartwatch 3 does not have the same issue, so I figured it had somethong to do with using the GPS in the phone vs the GPS in the watch, which to the best of my knowledge there is none in the Huawei. So I pulled the phone out of my pocket, opened my LED Flip Wallet case, put my phone in standby, and gave the navigation command on the watch. Surprise surprise, it worked! But, I noticed the screen came on on the phone and "Maps" opened. So I then closed the flip wallet, tried again. This time I got the error on the watch, Can't Start Navigation. Seems like it's the flip case! That's too bad, I really like my flip case.
So in short, if you're using a Samsung and one of their flip wallet or S-View cases, that could be your culprit. Seeing as Android Wear is Google and the cases and phones are Samsung, I doubt either party is going to help us with this issue. Hoping someone smarter than I can come up with a software solution or settings workaround for this here on XDA!

Android 6.0 issues

Ever since I installed Marshmallow on my phone I don't get notifications on my watch. They both say they're connected and my notifications are turned on in the wear app and in sound and notifications in my phone settings. Even when I try to push a fake notification it doesn't work. My watch is running 5.1.1 and my wear app is 1.3.0.2166028. I also have gotten a message on my watch saying there is no Google play installed on my phone but it is. If anybody can help I would appreciate it.
i had an issue at first with mine. what i did was uninstall android wear and unpair with the phone. then, wipe the watch. do a full factory reset. (charge it above 80 percent or itll complain on first boot) then after you get the watch to the screen of pairing install android wear and pair. after this wait for everything to finish. remember the watch does everything over bluetooth at this point so give it some time to sync.
after that it should work. you can test it then inside the app. took me a couple of resets to get my watch working perfectly.

"Ok Google" voice command displays "offline"

Hi all,
I have sometimes the problem, that at first the watch reacts properly after saying "Ok google". It records my command and also displays the recognized text correctly, but after that it does not execute the command but displays "offline" (e.g. calling a contact or setting the alarm clock).
The connection to the phone itself (using Bluetooth to my Samsung Note 4, Android 5.1.1) is stable. I have read about this behavior also on other forums with different smart watches (e.g. Moto 360). There is some indication that the problem is caused by the phone being unable to access the Internet at the time, although it has a stable and strong 3G connection with no data restrictions set (e.g. allow background data). It also happened when the smart phone was connected to my local WiFi.
The problem is not 100% reproducible. Most of the times the command gets executed by the first try, sometimes the problems disappears after repeating the voice command several times and sometimes it disappears by unlocking the smartphone.
Have you experienced this problem as well sometimes? If yes, are you using a Samsung smartphone and which Android version are running? I somehow have the feeling it is related to the android wear app and maybe to Samsung smartphones.
I also use smart unlock, which means I can simply unlock my phone by swiping the homescreen as long as my phone is connected to the watch and have to use fingerprint unlock otherwise.

I had an LG Urbane that had this issue. I did a lot of reading and found that pretty much every Android Wear watch model has this issue, but it is seemingly random wrether or not you will experience it. I read the same thing about the Huawei watch but took a chance and swapped it for my Urbane and it has been working fine. I would try and return it for another Huawei or a different model, and also downgrade the Android Wear app on your phone to version 1.3.0.2369832 (didnt fix the connection prob for me, but did help with other issues)

no notifications but watch is connected

Since the latest Android Wear update a few days ago, my watch appears connected to my Honor 7, but I don't receive notifications anymore.
I can change the watchface from the phone, i can find the phone from the watch, so there is communication.
If I disconnect the watch, delete android wear from the phone, restart and do a new connect with the watch, it works again, i receive all notifications again. Until, I shut down the watch or restart the phone, then nothing again.
Resyncing apps via Android Wear on the phone does not help. Any clues?
Honor 7 with MM6.01 (b371) and M1D63M on watch.

Interestingly I am experiencing the exact same at the moment.. Oddly enough it worked just fine yesterday, but not two days ago or today...
Thanks for replying, now at least I know this is not just me.
I am also having the same problem. I need to disconnect and reconnect several times in a day to get notifications. I thought the latest update was just security fix but i think it has messed up the core functionality as well.
for me, even the watch face cannot be changed from phone.
Funny I ignored this thread until it happened to me just today

i'm going crazy....same issue happened to me!!! i'm looking forward to find a solution ASAP!!!
Same is happening to me. I've tried all of the above as well but no success keeping the notifications from disappearing.
Interestingly though, I also have an app installed called Feel the Wear which lets you set different vibrations on the watch for different types of notifications. I only use one custom vibration for hangouts. Whenever I get a hangouts message, I still get the custom vibration on the watch but the message itself doesn't hit the watch.

Well, apparently this is becoming an issue. I don't think Sony is to blame, because it started just after the latest Android Wear update, my watch was working perfectly before that. Anywhere I can download a previous version? Then I will install that version and don't allow it to update for now until Google has fixed the issue........
Just this morning I received an update OTA on my watch to version M1D63X, but unfortunately no changes to the notification problem........
Just connected again with my z1 compact, works well, everything fine with the notifications. Therefore it must be something to do with the honor 7 or with mm6, because my z1 compact runs on lp5.1
Same on my watch + Xperia Z3 Compact. There must be some problems with Android Wear app, many of my friends have the same problem. Notifications work after reconnecting but not for a very long time.
Also incoming mails are notified a couple of times in a row for some time, f.e. I get banggood offers mail which is notified on the phone and on the watch, then in the next 5 minutes there goes another notification about the same mail, and again, and again... until I dismiss that notification. Drives me crazy so I just immediately swipe e-mail notification when it arrives (I don't want to block the app).
Hoping for a quick fix...
Every time this problem occurs I simply restart the watch and phone at the same time. Fixed the problem every time. Restarting the watch alone does not help.
Also can confirm that the watch indeed is connected to the phone, no notifications go through to the watch. Had a song successfully identified by Shazam on the watch while the problem was present...
After yesterday upgrade my OnePlus X to android 6.0.1 - Sony SW3 stops receiving notifications. There is info at android wear app, that synchronization was shut down and i have to restart phone to resolve that problem. After restart it works for some time and then the same problem. I think that some program is shutting down by android but i dont know where i can find it, and what it is. Anybody? App that sends notifications to watch?
Same with me. I only get the notification by the app Feel the Wear and having custom vibrations on Gmail, Whatsap and Facebook. But no notification on the watch itself. Also since the last 2 updates.
Since flashing a Nougat rom on my Nexus 6, I have been receiving all notifications on the watch. It's only been a few days but so far so good. Still not a fix for anyone stuck on MM but try flashing Nougat on your phone if you have the option.
Edit: I flashed a couple of different Nougat roms which requires two separate factory resets of the watch. not sure if that had anything to do with notifications coming through.
