In the hype of the new World of Warcraft expansion, I threw together a little watch face that I've really been enjoying. It's made in WatchMaker, which is surprising MUCH nicer then what I previously had been using, Facer.
Anyway, here is the link, and I attached the gif it plays to the post as well. Enjoy

Note: The animated watchfaces in WatchMaker have had no affect on my battery. It's had 12 hours of use today with 30% drain.
This is the watch face itself non-animated

Here's a Boilermaker gold and black Rolex face I made the other day...
If you mess around with Facer a little, faces like this are extremely easy to do (and I'm sure almost everyone here is at least ten times better than I am at stuff like this)... I don't even really know what I'm doing, and was able to make that face in just a few minutes (minus the weather icons which took a bit of figuring out), with nothing other than the Facer app on my phone... I've been messing around with the weather icons and temp, and battery, but things like that are very easy to add or remove... but it's real easy to make a Purdue face (instead of Rolex), or add or change any images you use, etc... I even find websites just dealing in watch faces, so you just use those images and don't even have to worry about photoshopping arms, etc...

FYI, I've been working on taking pictures of a lot of antique clocks and pocketwatches and getting them in to Facer for the Moto 360. I kept all but one bone stock (just hands, no dates, etc) and they look very good (photorealistic as intended) on your wrist. Thought I would make a post here so in the event you want something very old school sitting on your wrist you know there are some options =) Hope you enjoy them!

If you're looking for more images, I found this page: http://www.collectorsweekly.com/pocket-watches/overview/stories Some are blurry and some are clear. I especially like the railroad watch if you're interested in making that one.
UPDATE 8/3/2019 Hello everyone its been a long time since I have been on here as I took a break from here as it is so time consuming on making custom watch faces but I still get a ton of requests, kinds words and donations to this very day. I understand that I started doing this way before digital watches were as popular now so I am considering starting back and trying to make custom watch faces and in helping the community and myself. I am adding a poll to see what the demand is for digital watch faces for any watch of your desire. Please share as if the demand is enough and can be advantageous enough for the time that is put into these I will start doing this again as I have always had a passion to create and contribute. Thanks again for everyones kind words as always!!!

Since our Huawei watches are AMOLED, I'd really like to see more faces that won't lead to excessive burn-in in ambient mode. I'm always looking for dimmed faces that only show hands, not minute marks or logos. I'd especially like to see more analog faces where the dimmed hands don't start at the center.
What option do you select in the settings for facer to make it fill and fit correctly on the Hauwei? All the options I see puts it smaller and towards the top left corner.
I nice high resolution version of the Rolex Submariner watchface without a bezel would be amazing!
Hi,
Is it possible to ask your moto360's skins without the black band at the bottom of each skin ?
Thank you very much for your beautiful work.

Waiting to see if full round faces will be available without that flat tire.
Breitling Chronomatic in brown please.

well, the topic is quite calm. I uploaded the picture of the Lotus watch but no reaction from anyone so far.
Cause I saw in this and other topics that Leni (and ofcourse the others) made some great watchfaces so far. I wonder how the Lotus watch would look like digitally
So I'm requesting this watch face without the moto 360 and with working icons, or at least icons that display weather, watch battery, phone battery, and footsteps. I've loved this design since day one.
I'd like a watchface that does not turn all black in ambient mode. Some of the ZW3 watchfaces do that (for ex. Lux Copper) but I cant figure out how to do that on Hwatch. And the ZW3 watchfaces dont work on Hwatch (constant loading issue)
Thanks
There are many things you can do to get varying battery life results but for me one thing that seems to have the largest effect is what watch face you use. I have purchased many watch faces and made a lot of custom ones as well in the 16 days I've had this watch and I wanted to share with the rest of you the watch face that gives me absolutely stellar battery life. It's called stealth 360. Just search it in the play store. I think it cost a dollar but if you want really good battery life I suggest trying it out. I'm getting over 40 hours on my watch with the screen always on and having all the default settings enabled.
I'm not connected to the dev, nor am I paid to promote it but I am only sharing this info because I know some people have complained about battery life and I personally have had varying results with my watches battery depending on the face I use. Some faces I'll get 18-24 hours and others around 30 but stealth 360 is the only one I've used where I got over 40 hours of use on a single charge. YMMV
Another thing to consider is I'm currently using the 2.0 dev preview with the stock kernel so you may get different results depending on the ROM and kernel you are using and what settings you have. I also have gestures off and tilt to wake off and I'm not constantly playing with the watch because I mainly use it to check the time, temp, steps, and setting alarms and using the stopwatch. I also have my phone, text, email, and youtube connected.
how many watchfaces did you try and why would this one be better then the stock ones in black?

I've tried a lot of third party ones. I have bought 7 or 8 faces and tried a bunch of others. I'm not sure about the stock faces because I never used any of them because they are all ugly and boring. I switch around between the third party ones I like and the most battery life I had got on any of those was around 30 hours but I noticed when I used the stealth 360 face my battery was going for a lot longer so thought i'd share it here. Some stock ones may be as good or better, I never tried any.
Sounds really good, and will try that Stealth 360...
@imucarmen
What version of stealth360 are you using?
Only version I'm aware of is this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flyingrhinocmg.watchface_stealth360
Thanks for the tip!

I bought Minimal&Elegant but could never get a face I was happy with so haven't used it too much. As far as custom makers go I really like Pujie and used it exclusively the first week I owned the watch but I started having some issues with it. I also bought WatchMaker but can't find a face I'm 100 percent happy with. I use FaceRepo and there is a lot of nice ones there but I always find things about them I don't like. The past few days I've been using this one and I'm finding it hard to use another because it basically does everything. Only bad thing about it is it's not friendly on the battery but it gets through a whole day so I'm happy.

wow seems like an all in one informational watchface, no wonder it drains the battery faster. It is a pitty that it is not free.

Yea it is. I ended up buying version 2 of that face as well which has a bit cleaner design. I need to stop buying watch faces though because most I never end up using more than a day pujie custom face maker is what I always keep going back to.
even before I had my Huawei Watch I was reading and browsing here and I read about pujie all the time. I got it my self now as well but I wonder what everyone loves about it so much that it is a killer smartwatch app?
It cool you can create your own smartfaces but so you can do with facer or watchmaker.

I haven't tried Facer, but Watchmaker was the first app I bought for my watch, and I've also tried a couple other custom face makers, but I like Pujie the most. Once you learn how it works it's a very powerful custom face maker. I found Watchmaker difficult to learn and not very user friendly as far as building custom faces. Watchmaker has a lot of nice pre-made faces you can download on FaceRepo but none of them ever have the complete experience I'm looking for so I can never get comfortable with them. I personally haven't used Facer but I browsed through the pre-made faces on FaceRepo that are made for it and I wasn't impressed with any of them.
Pujie gives me everything I want as far as features and it's super powerful in the changes you can make. There basically isn't a single aspect of the face design you can't change and it's all pretty easy to do. It's also pretty battery friendly.
Facer is the cheapest and when I enter some of the premium brands, it comes up with some watchfaces, but I noticed already that a lot of those Breitling or Rolex watchface replicas are battery hoggers and the black stock huawei ones or the one I rapidly created in Pujie is more battery friendly
for myself I find pujie's greatest strength is its users who share their designs .. I grab a design I like, then over a period of a week I tweak it here and there when I notice I want something to be more suitable for my usage ... easy custom perfection and battery friendly

Yea I do the same thing. Find a good base design and then add my own flavor
But it's easy to start from scratch as well.

it's good you said that, cuz I should have - the dev did a good job making that easy
Uhm why should stealth 360 be so battery friendly? Shouldn't the standard "photo" watch face be the best in terms of AOD? It only displays a super minimal time and that's it

I don't know. I never used any of the stock faces.
My buddy recently gifted me a Galaxy Watch that he just never used anymore and I love it. Until then I had mostly been using a Pebble (original) and I love this new watch. Anyways, I'd love a watchface that shows local time with analog hands, and UTC/"Zulu time" with digits. I've seen a couple that have UTC as an analog inset, but then I have to read the tiny little hands and then figure out if I have to add 12H to it or not.
Or maybe I'll have to learn how to make watchfaces. I'm not opposed to that, but I'm starting from very little knowledge.
