This was a cool feature in miui recently. Anyone know of a mod or app to get it into your drop down status?

I would also like to know this.
Widgetsoid.

I talked to some dev's they said they're gonna work on it
I couldn't figure out how to get it into the notification drop down.
Care to give a step by step?

widgetsoid -> make widget -> advanced -> notifications [on]
MoreQuicklyPanel is specifically for ICS
my only issue with it is the lack of brightness toggle but I leave it on auto 90%+ of the time anyway

Got it. Thanks. Had to play around with it a bit more. Nice app for sure.

I use notification toggle.
Widgetsoid is free and very customisable. I'm surprised that it works in ICS despite the fact that it was last updated a few months ago

Imm not very techy like this (yet). Especially because my laptop has a broke scree. So I cantt learn to change stuff lime this. But you need to rework parts of the SysyemUI.apk. talk to Nitroglycerine. He did it for the Droid X2.
And to anyone saying stuff aboit Widgetzoid and other related apps, it does not gige you toggle switches in the dropdown/pulldown.it gives you shortfuts to the setting. We dontt want that. We want the actual toggle switches.
Nome of those appd work for me, and I dontt like them. Itss not what I am looking for.
And, BTW, bump on wanting this too. I am glad to hear a dev is cooking something up. Keep us ppsted on the dev, ericerk.
Hi there just got a problem here. If u look at the screenshot of my phone there is a gap and I don't have any clue how do I get rid of it. It annoys me. Now here how did I get that, installed notification toggle app moved that to system/app to get some extra features however I found power control is more convenient that notification toggle app so moved that back to user/app and uninstalled that and I got that gap . There used to be a little icon of notification toggle. I would be so greatful if someone can help me.
Factory reset?
Same exact thing happened to me. The only way I was able to fix it was restore from backup

Are you running the notification toggles app?
Not sure if this is the right place to post it, so sorry if it's not.
Is LightFlow safe? I've read the permissions and they make me.... uncomfortable. How safe is it? Can it access credit card info etc?
Yes its safe.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
Yes and it's an awesome app!
Edit:
I felt I should add more here. All the permissions are so that lightflow knows when to turn on the lights you assign to the apps. That's all. The Dev is stand up and extent helpful. No need to worry.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
See a full explanation of the permissions from the dev, at the bottom of

Yes it is safe. Been in your shoes before and decided to give it a try.
Awesome app! Cool to have colors light notification though rather than plain white light

Been running it since getting my GNex almost a year ago and haven't had an issue. The Dev is on here and is super communicative. Its a must have for anyone with a phone that has a multicolor LED.
I love being able to come up to my phone and immediately knowing it's status without even picking up. My screen time of battery use has probably dropped 20% because of this app.
Hey does any of you guys know how do I turn off the warning when I turn the volume up? It's getting quite annoying.. thanks in advance.
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app
The volume warring is a horrible feature, I'm trying to think of why it needs to popup every time. This must have been included for liability reasons.
My problem is that my headphones don't exactly sit close to ear with my helmet on, so they're too quite. Then I can't always grab my phone and close out the warning while I'm riding.
The only solution I've found for this problem is to install a different rom, I am using ReVolt right now. You can disable the warning in the sound settings.
I also would like to know. I want to disable the toast after setting an app as default as well. It's super annoying.

I have a thread with a tutorial explaining how to decompile and remove it, however, i have yet to encounter this "warning" on my device xD

This one's done. WOrking on the toast volume thing.
If you're rooted, you can try Xposed Framework. It's the best. Not only can you remove the warning, there is so much more to customize.

I don't think that will work. T-Mobile uses a toast instead of the normal window. So im not sure if that will work. Can give it a shot. I almost have it removed though.
Here you go guys. no more toast when you turn up volume. No more window when you select a default app.

It actually does work. Any idea how to kill the clear defaults prompt? Samsung must think we're idiots to have that pop up every time always is selected.

Ohhh pretty. Thanks. Would you mind explaining what you changed? Will this cause other toast notifications from other apps to stop?

Bleh, TouchJiz is affecting the volume steps mod. Go listen to music, and start the volume at low, and slowly increment the volume up to max one step at a time. It will get louder then go back to really quite, and then get louder again
Has anyone tried this on Canadian Videotron /Wind version ? Can I flash this without any risk of brick lol
I really want to turn this annoying popup that block the volume when using headphone buttons I have to take out the phone from pocket unlock the click ok. What kind of stupid Developer this :S

If it's the same hardware then it should work. If it doesn't work it will just not boot. To fix that just flash your ROM or restore the original framework.jar file.

Thank you AT&T for not putting S Finder and Quick Connect in the pull down notif tray
Lot of hate here to att and it's well deserved but thank you for removing S Finder and Quick Connect from the pull down notification tray. I always thought that looked really bad
It wasn't AT&T... It was Samsung themselves.
what do you mean?its on my toggles
I have a Note 2 and I'm waiting on my Note 4 pre-order, what does either of those do?

They didn't remove it... it there it's on the other half of the notification/toggle bar slide it over and you'll see it. :crying:
OP is talking about it being removed from the notification tray. Not in the toggles tray

I'm not sure why my toggles are different than yours. I don't have quick connect, S Finder, left-hand mode, etc. Is that an AT&T Note 4?

You just have to edit which toggles appear there. First hit the three squares in the tip right corner, then after the toggles show up hit the pencil icon also on the top right and that will let you edit which ones show up there including those two toggles you are not seeing yet.

RAW note 4 with XDA PREMIUM HD
Dude....this is the worst notification tray ever done by Samsung! And it's still in there as a selection to choose to be on it just not on first boot up until you select it...Just an opinion for sure... dude they neglected the torch and honestly for some of the useless selections to choose from..that sucks... and really I can't stand the teal it's gotta go so much I want my note three back if we can't get an unlocked bootloader a safestrap or root of somekind...the phone would be amazing if it could be customized but it honestly in my opinion again is laid out very feminine....the white is burning away at your battery just looking through a menu and the quad hd takes up enough battery as it is with bubble icons in teal....the entire tray need to be able to be changed enough to where it's like a bad feeling when I look at it knowing I paid money for it to be that way....sorry dude but f*@& this notification drawer, toggles and everything about it...thumbs down to the new drawer...just an opinion...

By the toggles list, I meant the main list of all the toggles, not the one in the notification bar. I still don't have the S Finder toggle, along with the other toggles I mentioned earlier. This is strange and I hope someone knows how to fix this. I'm on the AT&T GoPhone pan, if that matters.
