Can anybody please tell me how to (if it's possible) have the timer count from a specific date and display years, months and weeks not just days. I can't seem to find a solution to something that seems simple.

Hi I wonder if anyone can help, I've searched the forum but not seen a similar problem, I recently upgraded my orbit to WM6 and everything seemed to be fine but I am now having an annoying problem with the alarms. I have three alarms set 06:00; 06:10; 06:20 for everyday of the week but after I dismiss these when they go off on a morning, I am still getting alarms going off for 7:00; 8:00 and 9:00? Can anyone advise on what I can do, I've tried a soft reset but that hasn't fixed it, has anyone seen anything like this happen?
Thanks
Andrew

I had something quite similar happen after the clock change last year. I had to be sure I was up on time on the Sunday morning of the change so I manually set my clock back instead of waiting for WM5 (NOTE: WM5, not WM6) to adjust automatically. I ended up with duplicate alarm an hour apart - not at 'odd' times like you seem to have.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, I have MemMaid and I used that to identify and delete all alarm reminders in the system after having turned off all alarms in the Time Settings page. I then re-established the alarms at the proper times and all was well.
Might be worth a try?

Hi, would you kindly explain in a bit more details? How do you identify & delete the alarm reminders using memmaid? I have memmeaid installed - pls guide me through. I am having double alarm issues.
I'm setting my Alarm notification sound on the "Sounds and Notifications" screen, but the "Repeat" option is permanently disabled. Does anyone know how to enable it?
I'm running JACKO's ROM
Don't know if you ever figured this out but it was driving me batty until I found two threads here discussing different freeware apps called 1) Re-repeat and 2) Klaxon. Sorry I can't point you to the thread directly but I'm a new poster here and I apparently can't post urls yet, but I've decided to try out re-repeat first, as it seems simpler than Klaxon.
Let me know what happens with your alarm setup, will you? I'm fairly new to WinMo having come over from Palm after my Centro died a couple of months ago, and I really need this simple functionality to work correctly.
Best regards,
Chuck B.
I've got a Stock Desire running 2.2 and am having an issue with my time and date settings - I'm unable to set the time including seconds. What this means is that my phone is approximately 30 seconds fast or slow, and this is messing up my message threading. This issue is noted as a "Flaw/Annoyance" in this thread by Jaa-Yoo, but I'm having problems with the threading even when I'm having a conversation by SMS with a contact who uses the same network as me (O2-UK).
Is there any way to "force" the handset to update the time manually? If not, do you know what time the clock will automatically update with the network? Can anyone suggest any way I can set the time in HH:MM:SS as opposed to the default HH:MM? (via an app perhaps?)
I've used the handset for over a year and this has only really started to become an issue over the past few months - I'm guessing the timekeeping is just slightly out, and the difference that has built up over time has now started to be a problem. I'd really rather not put up with it for another few months until the seconds fall back into place...
Many thanks for any help or suggestions.
Hi guys,
Its 4 months now since I first experienced this. Sometimes I hear music running in the background for about three seconds whether the screen was on or off and there is no notifications with it " just music". Sometimes it doesn't play for days and other times I hear it every day , may be more than 5 times/ hour.
My device is M8 one eye and I faced a problem after trying to flashing a custom rom. The HTC service here refused to fix it so I gave it to a technical guy to fix cuz I didn't find the stock for my device online, he failed to find it too and told me that he used something he called "box" to flash it. Then it worked and I updated it to Marshmallow. I only begun to hear those sounds 2 months after that.
what shall I do?
Thank you
Hi all,
After days and days of searching the web and trying everything I can, I'm still having the same issues.
I came across this forum whilst browsing and had forgotten all about it. I used to be a member many, many years ago when I used to tinker with my HTC Hero (great phone at the time).
Anyway, on to my issue....
Since my swap back to Android from ios, everything has been perfect and I haven't looked back...except this one problem and its driving me insane. Basically I have a Hikvision NVR and cameras at home and use the hik-connect app to live view and get notifications. This is where the problem is! My NVR is set to send me notifications when there is a intrusion on the front of my house and although I get the notifications, they are sometimes 5,10 or 15 mins later. Its not all the time, sometime they are instant (although not very often) and if I have my phone unlocked they also come through instantly.
I've checked everything that I can think of including the battery optimisation settings etc.
Does anyone have any ideas? After here Im giving up with it.

Thanks folks
