Hi guys
I bought the LG circle case which now i think is not original but im not sure. Its with very good quality and has both nfc and wireless charge at the back.
But my issue is with the Answering gesture option.
While with the case it just not picking up calls and i have to manually slide on the circle, but when its opened it does answer
Anyone else had this problem, or eventual solution. I dont understand how its working but it seems the case is making problem on that function.
Does your circle cases auto answer the income calls with the latest OTA - version L, when you put the phone next to your head?
I was reading in some other forums that the issue is may be from the last software

Hello all,
I've had my Verizon Galaxy Nexus for a couple months now, and I'm having an issue with it that affects me basically every day: the vibration is too weak. I've seen other people with the issue, but never a solution. The majority of the time, I use my phone in silent, hence the problem.
I've already tried kernels that allow the user to adjust vibration intensity, but it was already maxed out. I figure it's a hardware issue, not software.
I've thought about getting something like the Pebble smartwatch (getpebble.com), but a metal band in a matching color for it would cost another $70, and the watch is expensive enough...That, and I can't wear a watch to my job (for the safety of the watch, mainly...)
Anyway, does anyone have any ideas for how to get my notifications not using sound? Any ways you know of to make the vibration on this phone stronger? Does some sort of "supplemental vibration device" exist that I can connect to my phone to get notifications?
Thanks in advance!
Hi, I have lg optimus g pro e980 stock rooted, which has been running great until now. Recently my callers hear an echo, I hear everything fine on my end. Ive read other posts about cases causing echo's but I have a standard att wireless charging flip cover case, it's never caused an echo before and the case in no way covers my mic which is why i find this strange. But testing it, it would seem if i don't have the case on, my callers do not hear the echo, as soon as I put it on the echo is back. My question is, is it possible that the NFC device inside the case could be causing it, I just want to be certain before I go buy a new cover.

I apologize to the moderator, I accidentally double posted this, you are welcome to delete the extra thread.

Negative. Especially since it was not there before and you had the case on. There are plenty of instances of cases causing echos, but in your case I seriously doubt it. Are you sure that absolutely nothing else changed? Have you recently frozen or deleted any apps for example? Have you dropped the phone recently? Are there any new apps that you installed around the same time you started getting the echo? Check what is running in the background to make sure.
Im certain
I did a complete wipe and reinstalled the stock rom fresh and my callers still hear an echo. I have done tests when I take the cover off they do not here an echo, every single time I replace the cover they hear an echo again. I understand this is an extremely strange situation which is why I made this thread. I want to know if it's at all possible a wireless charger can somehow interfere with the radio, or the microphone. But it makes no sense to have started out of no where when it never happened before, which is why I am completely stumped.

Hey everyone. I wasn't really sure where to post this. It's not necessarily specific to N5, but that's what I use and I mostly hang around these forums.
I was messing around with xposed and the NFC LockScreenOffEnabler module. A while back I wanted to set up something where my pebble would unlock my phone. I actually forgot about the module, but I remembered about it yesterday so I went to find an NFC chip somewhere. I found one and stuck it on the back of my pebble. To my surprise it was actually able to read the chip through the pebble. So I think this could definitely be used with a lot of different watches/bands. I ordered a few stickers just because the chip I have has a bit of a thickness so the stickers should be thinner.
Of course you could just setup tasker to turn off the lock screen when connected to your watch. The problem with this is since bluetooth range can go far sometimes, you could be leaving your phone somewhat far but it would still be unlocked.
I made a quick video/tutorial briefly showing/talking about this. If anyone wants to check it out feel free (also feel free to leave some feedback as this is more or less my first tech vid).
Let me know what you guys think!

I have a Nexus 5x and in our car we have a Proclip IOMount magnetic car mount - because we swap between three drivers with three different phones (iPhone 5s, OnePlus One and the Nexus) having a specific car mount isn't really an option.
Sadly the Nexus5x, like it's predecessors, seems to have an automagic "screen off" function triggered by magnets in a case. It's a probably a great feature if you have such a case but it's absolutely the worst result for me... because I can't find a way to turn it off. My HTC One m8 had a similar feature for the DotView case, but that had an easy toggle in settings to make it go away.
Spent some time on chat with a Google rep yesterday who promised me an email "within a couple of hours" to tell me how to solve this but... no answer. So I'm guessing they're not made it switchable from within the UI (new feature request posted) so I was hoping that there's an answer someone can point me at.
Happy to root, but I'd prefer to stick with the official ROM rather than jump to a Cyanogenmod or similar

Research the Tasker app. It can probably do what you want.

I read the description and doesn't seem to include the ability to disable this "feature". (I already use macrodroid for similar functionality and that doesn't expose it). I will contact them though
I had the same problem, for the same reason
You probably had your IOMount disk located in the center of the back of your phone, didn't you?
I mean, it makes sense. Where else would you put it? That's where I put my disk. And I was very annoyed about this screen-turning-off-problem.
Playing around with the magnet, I found that I could prevent the screen from automatically turning off if I put the magnet near the bottom of the phone. If I did that, it worked like normal. Like I expected. Like it should. Naturally, I relocated the disk, as well. Problem solved.
Try it out, and let me know if it doesn't work for you. Good luck!
Hey All
Last year i made the switch from iPhone to Samsung S8+ and i love it! Never going back
A couple days ago i updated my software and my LED view cover was working fine. I left my phone in my bag and went in for an exam at uni, came out and the LED notification's had stopped working! I've looked everywhere for an answer and i can't seem to find one on how to fix this! I didn't turn anything off or edit any settings as it was in my bag. I've never had my NFC turned on so i know that isn't the problem. As far as i can tell the LED icon app is up to date. Weird thing is, the case still locks my phone when i close the cover and when i plug it in to charge the LED battery icon still comes up. So i'm getting no notifications, no time showing up and no battery percentage. I've checked and all notification settings are the same, nothing has changed. Has anyone else had the same problem and know how i can fix this? Thanks in advance

Same for me. Lost the recepit and am stuck with it
Unfortunately LED covers aren't very robust. I also like it a lot (as it can be used to cut all unwanted notification), but unfortunately they don't last long.
Mine lost its touch sensor after a few months and the LEDs stopped after 1.5 years. The screen start/stop function was the only thing still working. Customers are often complaining about this, so this is not an isolated case.
What's worse, I think the cover is considered as an "accessory" and not as an "electronic device", so you get only a 6 month warranty and not 2 years.
Anyway, the price of the cover is quite low right now; finally I bought a new LED cover on Amazon for only €20 (which is about the price of a 3rd party dumb cover).
