[Q] Automatically move favorited music to a new folder - Sony Xperia ZL

HI
I love music and i often clean my musics on SD and put new musics to listen to.
But the problem is when i renew my musics Walkman also clears all playlists and favorite list.
So what i want to know is if theres anything or any way to move a music automatically when i assign it to a playlist or when i make it favorite to a different folder, say favorite folder, so when i delete musics i dont want anymore i can keep favorite ones.

Hide music files on phone **Help**

I have an EVO and had the hero and both phones did this.
My only complaint with the phone is this.
I have my music stored in the media folder of my SD card
But also have my familys music in a different folder in my SD card.
I don't want their music to be shown in my music app, because I never listen to those songs, and it just makes it cluttered, plus some of the songs are kid songs.
Is their anyway to have music (mp3's) on the SD card but hide them from the music player recognizing them so they don't show up.

I had that issue way back with my G1...picked up a trick. Any folder that has audio files that you DONT want the music player to see, view the folder in explorer or some directory viewer and mark the folder as "hidden". You will still be able to see it and it's contents, but the music app will ignore it.
Create a file and rename it to .nomedia and place it in the folder of the music you don't want to see.
cool, thanks guys

Best way to keep my music organized on evo

I was just wondering what the best way to edit music files is before adding them to my evo. I have my music perfectly organized in itunes but when I drag and drop in my sd and look through my phone most songs don't have artwork or artists. I tried editing them in windows media player but that didn't work so what's the best program to organize my music.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
I use MP3Tag for editing that info ( i do it before importing it to iTunes ), but i would think that should still be intact if you have it in iTunes. If you already have the music on the card, you can try installing mp3tag, right click the folder on the SD Card where you have your music, select "MP3Tag" & it will open all the MP3's in that folder for you to edit the meta data.
doubleTwist. 'Nuff said.
I've always been a proponent of proper ID3 tagging. I use Tag&Rename, which is great for batch operations and will even let you embed album art into each individual file. Develop a system of your own. I have my music folder classified by genre, and then artists within each genre folder, then albums within those. I would suggest at least keeping folders for artists.
Also, I hate iTunes because the one time I actually tried it, it reorganized all my files, copied them, retagged them, and screwed them all up. And because it's Appleware. Do the work and you'll be rewarded.
I've been using iTunes for my main collection, then when I copy stuff onto my SD card, if I care enough at the time (Hey! Sometimes I'm in a hurry!), I'll use dBpoweramp's ID3 editor. Lets me embed album artwork and edit the tags on just about any file type, from MP3 and AAC to FLAC and ALAC.
ive tried doubletwist and i wasnt a huge fan. sorry for such a late response i forgot i made this thread lol im going to try Tag&Rename see how that goes ill reply after. only reason i use itunes is because i used to have an iphone lol and i had spent a while organizing all my music on itunes not realizing it didnt actually change the file and i didnt feel like reorganizing it all over again but now i feel up to it so hopefully this doesnt take forever

[Q] Playlists and Profiles

Hi
I have 2 questions:
1. Is it possible to create a playlist directly from the folder which has been uploaded to the SD card? A lot of my music doesn't have any tags, so in albums/artists/genres these tracks end up being under one huge Unknown folder, which is really inconvenient.
2. Is there a way to create different profiles/modes? E.g: Outdoors, Meeting, Silent, Normal? Old SE phone used to have it..
Thank you!
1. If you have winamp, you can add all of your music to playlist, select them all (ctrl+a) then right click > send to > auto-tag, wait until all done than click apply all. now your music will have artist, title, album etc. About create playlist directly from folder, well, I don't know about that

Thanks, although to have one huge playlist is not what i'm after.. I know you can do playlists from folder on HTC Desire, so I assumed, that there is a way doing it on Xperia as well, probably I'm was wrong

[Q] Re-name Music Tracks on the Phone

Hi guys, sorry if this is in the wrong place.
So i have an Xperia Play(Duh), but i am sick and tired of music saying 'Unknown-Tinie Tempah feat Eric Turner-Written in the Stars' for some tracks. That was just an example of that specific song by the way, they don't all say that...
I want to know if there is a way to manually edit the name and art work of the tracks without the use of a PC, but if necessary, i will use a PC. I've downloaded several different Apps from the app store that are supposed to change the names of them but when i change them and save, it doesn't change anything.
Any suggestions would be appreciated since it's getting on my nerves >.<
Cheers.
I tried a lot of music apps and this is the best music app in the store, it lets you rename tracs, edit tags, add albums, search for lyrucs... etc PlayerPro Music Player
For PC, I use this great software TagScanner to edit music
iTag worked for me.
Doing it via phone is possible as evidenced by other users, but that's too much hassle for me so I always use a PC. PowerAmp can do it, but still I don't find it efficient.
I use AudioShell ID3 Tag Editor. It allows you to edit Track Title, Contributing Artist, Album, Year, Track, and Album Art among many many many many others.
It's a shell extension by the way so you have to right click your music files and edit the tags under AudioShell Tab.
