Hi there,
I recently Upgraded my Desire to Gingervillain 2.7 and it works pretty good for the moment. But it seems as some games like Zenonia 3, Inotia 3 and Diversion are crashing. Whenever i start them, they simply show some loadingscreen but then crash back to my Homescreen. Reinstall of GV did not help.
What may cause these crashes?
Thanks in advance,
Nico
bump, No one an idea?

Are the games on the SD card? Some apps and games can crash when you force them to your SD card...
No at least I didn't put them on there. Any way to find out where they are?
I just purchased this game for like 6bux and its not working. Its been force to close every time it try's to load pass the intro , is there anyway to fix this issue ? if not I will be getting my money back , lol

It should work, on my A100, it's working fine. I had some problem with downloading game data, but after several try, my download completed successfully. Try clearing application data, if still not working then try re-installing the same.
PS : Game play is really cool, & I purchased it with 2.99 $

I have nova 2 for my captivate an like to get it on my acer a100 but it seams that the android market shows my a100 as incompatible x.x Gameloft shows it as being compatible but i don't feel like having to spend another 5 bucks for a game i already own x.x any help here running 2.007.04_com_gen1. I've tried copying the working nova 2 hd game apk from my cappy to the a100 but it keeps saying device incompatible (probably because cappy has a power vr an the a100 has a tegra an chainfire doesn't bipass the check on compatiblity still with the apk file either x.x)

I purchased it from Gameloft a couple of weeks ago. It woks with the A100 just fine. I know the Android Market shows it as incompatible, but it works if you buy it from Gameloft. This is also a recent thing. I bought my A100 in mid December, and for a couple of weeks Gameloft was showing zero games as compatible, now there are five. I am tempted to get uno, the kids love that game.
I'd really hate to spend another 5 bucks just to get the same app i paid for on the android market place. Dumb question but is it possible to get a hold of game loft to have them send the a100 compatible game to me? without having to repurchase.
I like the mobile gaming on the a100 atm its not as amazing as my pspGO but when it comes to doing more then just game the a100 beats the psp into the ground with extra functions <,<
if you root the tab you can use my custom build.prop to download it directly from the market.

ok trying to play nova2 wiht the altered build prop an found that there are some graphics bugs with certain images not being properly sized on the screen. runs at a steady fps but the image sizing issue is blegh >.<
Hi there! I need help with my newly(yesterday) rooted Samsung Galaxy Y S5360. I have rooted successfully, so I downloaded Chainfire 3d from the market, and the plug-ins aswell. Then I downloaded two games, Football Manager Handheld and GTA 3. Tried to run them first without using CF3d. FMH force closed when it wanted to download data all the time. GTA 3 was fine, downloaded the sd data files, and it seemed to work, but after starting it, it came with a black screen for like 5 seconds, then took me back to the main menu. Hoping, other games would work, I installed Gangstars 2, but it came up with the black screen for the first time, without asking about data files. Could someone help me? I have tried all plug-ins, played with settings(reduce texture size, etc.), tried SetCPU, Swapper, have got enough free space on SDCard, and Phone Memory, but no success.
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Tried NOVA HD, and Brothers in Arms 2. NOVA did the same as Gangstars 2, black screen for a few seconds, and back to phone menu. BiA worked, but characters were red, everything else was gray or brown, probably it's related to shaders.
I have never tested those games but dead space and pes 2012 surely work on my phone smoothly

Your RAM must be low that's why the black screen thing must be happening. Anyways, i tried gta 3 and fifa 10 in mine, gta 3 didn't work but fifa's working fine. Another thing, try to run the games in flight mode too.

Well, PES 2012 worked really smooth for me, and it didn't even need Chainfire, it was fine without. Haven't tried Dead Space, will do later.

Just tested Fifa 10, it worked, maybe I'll try out some other games later.
Thank you guys for the answers.
Each game has its own procedure for running. Try this blog, and follow the procedure given there. http://galaxyy.tk/ i have tried many games and was working without any problem.

Football Manager Handheld won't work on a Galaxy Y - the devices screen is below the minimum resolution required by the game presently; sorry.
(the GooglePlay store will automatically block attempts to purchase on that device - so I presume you didn't get it from there?)
I got the Note 2 yesterday and tried to download the apps from Play Store today. Seemed to work fine. However, when I tried to download a few more new apps, I noticed that a lot of them are incompatible with the Note 2. Anybody knows the reason?
Can you give us some examples? On my Note 2 I have more than 200 apps installed and all of them work fine. Every app that I had on SGS2 works on my Note 2 too. Can't remember an app that is/was not working.
This is really strange. I just picked some apps in random from Google Play. All of them are not compatible with my Note 2! For example,
JuiceDefender Ultimate by Latedroid
Advanced Task Killder Pro by ReChild
Advanced Task Manager Pro by Infolife LLC
Deluxe Settings from JKay
Speed Racing by Italy Games
Drag Racing by Creative Mobile
Jet Car Stunts by True Axis
Wild Blood by Gameloft
The Dark Knight Rises by Gameloft
The Amazing Spider-Man by Gameloft

Speed Racing, Drag Racing, Wild Blood and TDKR are working fine on my Note 2.
The other apps I've not installed, but they should work too.
Only the Deluxe Settings from JKay can't work on Note 2, because they need a special JKay framework that is only ported to a few devices and not compatible with every firmware.
Are you not able to install them or what issues do you get?
Most of those apps are working on mine.
Did you change DPI? Or maybe a country restriction.
we can start by what rom are you using?
Thanks for the replies.
Under "About device", I have:
Model number: GT-N7105
Android version: 4.1.1
Baseband version: N7105ZHALI5
Kernel version: 3.0.31-391515
Build number: JR003C.N7105ZHALJ4
Language: English (USA). The sales set it to English (Australia) when we tested the device. When I went home, I changed it to Japanese. Then, I changed it to English (USA).
Never rooted the phone nor do anything fancy.
What DPI am I supposed to use? I don't think I nor the Sales changed it.
Interestingly, all the apps that were installed on my Galaxy Note installed on Note 2 fine.
Does the origin of the SIM card has an effect? I bought the device in Hong Kong but I got the SIM card in China.
I have tried several more apps since this posting, I keep getting "This app is incompatible with all of your devices." When I clicked on the + sign, it lists
my Galaxy Note and Note 2 each with an ! mark saying "This item cannot be installed on your device."
Go to settings. .application. .. play store. ..clear cache and data. .
Open playstore app and sign in again

It is working. Thank you very much. All the apps are now compatible with my Note 2. Could you please tell us what happened? Why all the apps I tried were incompatible at the beginning?

Could be glitch
Such things can happen once in a while with any app and in most occasions can easily be fixed by re setting the app (clearing data and cache)

Just as I was gathering up all the stuff to sideload Kitkat onto my 'just out of the box' Nexus 7, my screen on the N7 flashed up an OTA with 4.4 ten minutes after being turned on. (haha)
The very first app I installed was Asphalt 8, 1.56G later and it just crashes every time I try to run it. Seriously? Anyone running it on a Kitkat 2013 N7?

Uhhh... Yeah, as in download it and install it via ADB. Do you even lift bro?
I'm able to play it pm 4.4 but I'm only getting about 15-17 fps with an occansional crash . Asphalt 8 just must not be very optimized for either our nexus 7 or KitKat?

That is odd considering any Googling I do on the subject brings up endless stories about how the game was specifically coded to be a showcase app for the new Nexus 7. I mean, the game FLIES on my Note 2, if they have to fudge the res a bit that's fine but otherwise I will be disgusted if a 2013 Nexus 7 can't play Asphalt 8 like butter.

Notice how it still helps because it means the hardware is capable of playing the game. I am in the process of re-installing it from scratch, then I will try other things. One thing that Android games *really* need to jump on is old school pc-like video settings, so we can manually set resolution and tweak every single thing possible for framerate. For most games this Nexus 7 flies, but it is over-reaching the res on a power hungry engine.

If you have AdFree or some other ad blocking app you will have to revert back. Some how blocking ads makes asphalt unplayable. Also blocking ads affects the best buy app and some mobile websites and makes those unusable too.

I restored a Titanium Backup of Asphalt 8 from my old device and didn't encounter any crashes playing it so far (nexus 7 2013, kitkat 4.4.2). However my cloud save is still linked to the old device and it asks me to choose cloud or local data every single time I start the game, which is bl**dy annoying!
Interesting to see people commenting about the frame rate - I got a slimport adapter yesterday and tried a few games on my 1080p monitor - most of them were pretty smooth, but Asphalt 8 was quite laggy. I haven't updated to the freemium version yet so I don't know if the current build is a bit more optimised.
Doesnt run on KITKAT
I have tried several times, but it always crashes on kitkat:crying:
I fixed the lagging of Asphalt 8 in my Nexus 7 2013
Other than Asphalt other apps had also slowed down, so I found a link that spoke about cleaning up or rather wiping the cache partition, which has restored the speed on my tablet. Just Google nexus 7 lagging after 4.4 update, there's an article on wiping cache partition. Hope this helps everyone still searching.
