[Q] Phone Dialer. (Square/Round) - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All, I will try to make sense when asking this question.
Sometimes when I am receiving an incoming call, I can press a square box to answer, other times it asks me to swipe the circle to the inner circle to answer.
I would prefer to always just press the Green or Red Box to answer or decline. Does anyone know why it does that and if I can change it?
Thanks!

NO ONE?

the boxes appear when you recieve a call while your phone is unlocked. the swipe to answer/decline occurs when the phone is locked. i don't think there is a way to have it always show the boxes to answer a call

2 questions.... missed call notification and answer slide button... need some help.

Hey all.
Two questions.
Is there a cab to replace the slide button to answer or ignore an incoming call?
I don't use TF3D and I'd really like to have just a button to push to answer or ignore an incoming phone call.
Trying to slide the button to answer with an invishield is a PIA sometimes.
Second question.
I use phone suite. Is there anyway to disable the "notification" icon showing up after you miss a phone call?
Because I have phone suite, I just want to push the missed call icon or just click on phone to see my history.
My problem is especially if they leave a message is having to click on notification, then dismiss and then click on missed call and click view/dismiss.
So guys, how about it? Can I disable the notification feature?
Thanks,
Mark
Why not just press the "Answer" key at the bottom of the HD rather than using the slide?
For lack of not having a better answer, I don't know why...lol.
I guess that would have been too easy...lol. I hardly ever use the buttons on the bottom except to hang up. Guess I need to use the answer button also...
Thanks.
Mark
a better question would be, why doesn't touchflo expand this functionality to include "slide to dismiss" or "slide to reply" text message and other notifications?
that, i would like.

[Q] incoming call hybrid answer mode?

Has anyone else noticed that when you receive a call sometimes you have the option to press answer or ignore and other times you get slide up or slide down to answer or reject? Is there anyway to just have one of them? And also why isn't there an option to clear the incoming call screen? It just stays there until I pick answer or ignore.. on my g1 I would press back and it would clear and let me get back to my business. Also is there a way that I can just have the slide up or slide down to answer? The on screen keys always press when pullin the phone out of my pocket.. super annoying
the option you get is determined whether or not you phone display is on (locked or unlocked) at the time.
Oh ok.. thanks. I couldn't pinpoint it.. I guess once root is available then I can completely shut down the answer on the screen feature. Thanks again
you think there is any chance we could get phone calls non intrusively like webos

[Q] standard text message when declining a call

Guys,
I want to ask a question... with the screen on, when I get a phone call, I can push the menu button to send a text message with a standard text like "I'm busy right now, I call you later"...
- is there a way that I can change this text?
When my screen is off, and the sense 3 lockscreen kicks in when I receive a phonecall, I only got two options, answer or decline... Is there a way to get the menu button to work for me with the text message as mentioned above? This would especially come in handy, because I usually get phonecalls with the screen off...
any ideas, tips, tricks etc?
many thanks in advance
to change the default text menu>settings>call>phone settings>edit default message.
your right about no menu if incoming call when screen off! fix needed

Lock screen question

On the lock screen, press the back button and a big white box appears.
This box also appears after receiving a text notification and tapping the text message...
Anyone know what this is for?
Thanks

That's your unlock area, usually set for a simple swipe, it is the phone trying to remind you that you need to unlock before you can do anything else.
Works for me,
Thanks

End call question

hey guys, just a quick question about the NOTE 10+ - as ive moved from iphone to samsung.
When I end a call there is a delay where the phone shows ENDING CALL.... then goes back to the dial pad screen. Is there a way to reduce the time it shows that end call screen?
And also in the recent call screen is there a way to simply tap the name and it calls straight away? Rather then showing the option of CALL MESSAGE etc?
Thank you for the help

Could answer the second question, you can swipe to right for call or swipe left for messages on the recent list.
At least from what I have experienced this is another way instead of selecting name and then call for a faster calling.
But hope someone else could pitch in and answer the rest for you.
