[Q] freeze - Galaxy Tab S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi i just root my Galaxy Tab S T705 LTE and it seems good at first but after 10 mins it tried to reboot by itself and freezes at the Samsung logo for about 2 hrs . now its off what should i do ??

This is what they call a bootloop. Press and hold volume down key, home button and then the power button in the order I just prescribed. Press and hold all three until stock recovery screen appears and then release. Select volume down to reboot.

Which root method did you use?

[Q] What keys to boot into CWM

I am having a hard time booting into CWM, what is the right key combination? If I hold volume down and power, the Samsung sign comes on, and then the screen goes black and the phone vibrates every few seconds. I'm able to get into CWM just fine in ROM manager reboot and also with Juggernauts reboot, but it could become necessary to do it manually at some point. Thanks.
CWM boot
Need to hold volume up &down plus power keys when U see Samsung sing let power go holding up&down key till U see CWM
Working perfect, thank you!

Just rooted, how to do I get to recovery ?

Brand new Note 2 tonight, I just rooted it. But silly me, how the heck do I get into recovery the first time ? Normally I'd have the power menu option, but not yet. I am confused how to restart into recovery.
I tried hold the power button + vol down key, nothing
first you have to install any custom recovery of note 2!!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2000138
just read this forum carefully and then install it coz a slight mistake can ruin your device!!!
after you have installed recovery, to go into it press these keys simultaneously
volume upĀ± power buttonĀ± home button!!!
you will get into recovery

Without a custom recovery you will only get to access the srock recovery which is no good if you want to install a custom rom or mod.

Recovery - As the phone is booting, hold down Vol Up, Home and Power. Once the Note 2 logo appears, release the Power button (or else it'll just power off again), but keep the other keys held down.

[Q] A bootloop without the possibility of getting to download mode?!?

I am not a total noob. I have always done my research and I am well versed with the procedures but this has me stumped. About six months before I had installed Omega ROM (told you i wasn't a noob) and things were fine and dandy. I was running today and bam! my phone just enters into a bootloop (lost my data on endomondo too). But hey! I am an expert right? or so i think to myself and I try getting into the recovery mode / download mode. I press the volume down, power and home button. The warning comes up and all that i have to do now is to press the volume up key right? wrong!! Inspite of pressing the volume up key the bootloop continues. I dont know what i am doing wrong. I am sure it is a really silly thing but i am not able to figure it out myself. I read the posts and all of them deal with other issues. Can someone help me?
Can someone check this up for me? Switch off your phone and try going into the recovery mode by pressing only the vol. down button and the home button pressed together. If it does not show the warning screen prior to the recovery mode then it would mean that my power button is malfunctioning. It would take just two minutes of your time. Please post your results here. Please.
If you press just the volume down and home button not a lot happens not the warning screen anyway. When I boot into recovery I have to wait for the Samsung logo to appear twice or it just reboots. Might be worth pressing all 3 buttons and wait for the 3rd restart before letting go
Edit
It's volume up home and power for recovery if you get download mode and volume up the phone just reboots hence why you go back to bootloop

The problem is solved. It turned out that it was not a boot loop after all. The power button got pressed and was stuck in that state thus causing repeated reboots. It was by pressing the volume down and home button without pressing the power button that i figured out that the power button was stuck. So i took out the screws and adjusted the band slightly and now alls well.

No bootloader no recovery. Stuck on htc quietly brilliant screen

I was flashing a new rom yesterday. But during flashing, the recovery 'hang'ed. I pressed the power button for a few seconds, it restarts to the htc quietly brilliant screen. Now I can't access bootloader or recovery using Power + Vol buttons. Please help

Turn off the phone completely press power button for about 10-15 sec then try with 1. volume down and then press power button no way to not go in bootloader. The hangs on the recovery can't broke your phone.

Still can't go to bootloader. I tried different ways. Press the power button then the vol down button. Press them at the same time. Vol down first then power button. Still stuck on the same screen even after I pressed it for minutes

After half an hour, now I can go into bootloader! What to do next ?
Edit: I flashed a new recovery. Flashed a new rom. Now all is back to normal. Thanks for your help.:good:
I was excited to wait a new ROM since in a couple of days ago, when I turn on my phone the HTC white screen is stuck when I attempted to install the new ROM (4.2.2). Even pressing the power button, volume buttons and bottom slides won't work.
Is there a chance to repair my phone?

Can not get into the initial setup screen

I bought an used Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 and tried to delete all ex-owner's stuff and factory reset thru normal tablet setting menu.
All of sudden, the tablet was blacked and there is no new setup screen pop-up for long.
So I went manual recovery mode(volume up, power, home buttons same time) but stuck in 'Downloading... Do not turn off target!!' more than one hour.
How can I get into the initial setup screen?

Hold the power button until it restarts
Sounds like you were holding the volume down key - which takes you to downloading mode. Hold the power button and volume up button. When logo appears, let go of power but keep holding volume button until recovery screen appears. Use volume keys to navigate and power button to accept. Factory reset and clear the cache. Then reboot. You should be good to go
Odin Note Pro 12.2 to factory rather then Do a manual factory.
Google Odin 1.
Download the latest 5.0 Update for your model. This works for me all the time
Oh! One more thing. DO NOT FLASH ANYTHING JUST FACTORY ODIN RESET ONLY OKKK! REASON WHY IS BECAUSE 5.0 SYSTEM DIFFERENT. But if your willing to flash stable roms inbox me I'll gather all stable files
